For years they have sent me job descriptions, reached out to advertise the role which I have expressed my interest - after that I never hear back from them... As if none of it had ever happened. No feedback, no updates, nothing.

It is cruel to one who is really in need of a new job.

Would it hurt to provide an update even if unsuccessful?

In every job communication is key! I wonder how you communicate to your clients if this is the way you headhunt?

I was kept informed at every step of the way

I was dealing with Rachel she was so nice it was a pleasure to speak with her.

I approached Duncan as go-to-person who could get me back into Travel Industry which I left 3 years ago due to the Pandemic. Duncan was on the roll from the get go and he managed to secure me an interview and I have been successful.

After being made redundant and as a travel industry professional with 20+ years experience, I was excited to see all the amazing opportunities listed with C&M.

Believing I had a lot to offer, I submitted my CV, hoping that a member of the recruitment team might pick up the phone to learn a little more about me, my experience and take ownership of trying to help me find a new role. How wrong I was!

After hearing nothing, I applied for a role that I believe I was qualified for….. 2 weeks past and zero contact. When I chased, I was told that the role had been filled. Again, no offer to call me to discuss my CV…. I was told if anything suitable came up, they’d be in touch….. Well, how could they tell what might be suitable without even having a conversation with me?

As weeks and months went by, I consistently saw roles that would be suitable, but heard nothing. Every time I applied, I heard nothing and had to chase.

Ultimately, I was left feeling completely useless and invisible, with no assistance or guidance to secure a new role.

I see so many amazing positive reviews from people who have been lucky to have a different experience to me and am truly happy for them. I just wish that someone
at C&M had been willing to do the same for me.
