I had a great experience at Car Base, thanks to Neil. From the moment I arrived, he was friendly, approachable, and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. He was knowledgeable without being pushy, which made the whole process feel relaxed and comfortable.
Neil answered all my questions clearly and honestly, and I felt confident in the information he gave me. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my choice and made the entire experience smooth from start to finish.

Twelfth review for carbase, so I was informed on the 2nd April my car was ready to collect after nine weeks being without a car. As you can imagine if you read my previous reviews I have been fighting to get my money back for this car as I’ve had numerous issues. I was left with no choice with having no car I had to collect whilst still trying to get my money back. So the car was collected on the 2nd April however whilst driving home the engine management light came on. I emailed carbase to report this when I got home and as yet still haven’t had a response. So again I’m left with a car I can’t drive as I’m unsure of it’s safe to drive. With carbase again ignoring my emails.
The MOT is out on this car next month and over the year since the last one it has only done 2k miles as it’s been off road most of that time however if the engine management light is on it’s an MOT failure

Appointment was made for Friday at 16:00. Car was test driven and bought within 2 hours, and that was on Good Friday.

The salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable but it took over 3 hours to go for a test drive and complete the paperwork because he was attending to more than one customer at the same time and had to wait for his Manager to sign off on certain things. Have marked down for trying to reduce the original given trade-in price by 45% simply on the basis of incomplete service history and a couple of scratches to paintwork on an otherwise clean vehicle with all paperwork and keys- seemed a bit harsh. Was told that trade-in prices are given on the basis of immaculate, "showroom ready" cars so worth checking your trade-in value before test driving so you have a more accurate idea.

From start to finish the whole experience of purchasing a car was easy,well structured, you are kept up to date so it's clear how the process works and where you are within it. They are very proffesional throughout the buying process,not pushy at all but informative and are there to help you achieve you purchase. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I love the car i bought but,staff are good and they are there too sale.
I advise on checking the RAC insurance they sale like wheels and paint. Not worth it I was conned,simple as that.
Their repair service needs looking at, I have the warranty and I've been waiting for a repair for two week's and then they say this can be done on kia warranty and can't be done for 6 weeks.
I have put a complaint in twice and had nothing back so, now I have to get in touch with the ombudsman.

The first time we went to Carbase we just looked around the cars trying to find which ones we liked and were happy with not being approached by staff trying to sell us something. The next weekend we attended after booking a test drive and the sales representative wasn't pushy but explained about the car before we went out. Once back and we had agreed to buy the car, the sales representative spoke quite fast and it was quite loud in there so we did feel a bit rushed but it was a Saturday. We had to speak to someone different about the payment/finance and unfortunately they could not take payment from a card/credit card so we had to move savings and do a bank transfer which I was not expecting at the time which was slightly irritating. They do try to sell you lots of add ons, a scratch resistant paint policy, inside spills/damage policy and a 6 month warranty. But we managed to drive away within 3 hours of the test drive with a new car. Overall a good experience.

Purchased a Mercedes EQC
Mirgel our sales manager was absolutely great from start to finish we were over an hour late due to motorway traffic but he said no issues then stayed late with us after closing to complete the deal
He then found us a plug in charger and made sure the car was valeted and ready to to pick up in about 24 hours
Great Service would highly recommend the team at Bristol

Poor service, was advised I would get free drive Away insurance and on the day I was then advised I had to pay extra warranty to get the insurance, overall service was just not great and not what you’d expect when you go and buy your daughter‘s first car
