I have actually known Marc Robinson for nearly a decade. I worked for him at Cardiff Sports Nutrition (CSN) while at university, so it pains me to leave a review like this. Unfortunately, my recent experience as a supplier matches what several ex-employees have told me.

What happened to me
• In 2023 my company (Turtle) supplied 700 units of Clear Whey to CSN at £12.40 per unit after Marc personally assured me payment would follow once the re-branded stock sold.
• The product sold, yet £8,680 remains unpaid.
• Marc repeatedly told me CSN was simply “being sold” and that I would be paid afterwards, but I later discovered the company was already in liquidation, leaving suppliers like me out of pocket.

Wider pattern (employees)
• Several former CSN staff have said they are still chasing unpaid wages or holiday pay.
• Hearing this convinced me my case was not an isolated slip-up but part of a broader failure to deal fairly with people who trusted him.

Current status
• I have filed a formal claim for the outstanding amount and reported the matter to the liquidator and Insolvency Service.
• Despite Marc’s new position at Nutrivend, neither he nor the company has made any effort to resolve the debt.

Why this matters
As both a former employee and a supplier, I expected honesty and prompt settlement. Instead, I feel misled and let down. If you are thinking of working with Marc Robinson—whether as staff, supplier, or partner—consider my experience and do your due diligence.

Invoice issued: December 2023 • Balance outstanding as of 24 June 2025: £8,680 plus statutory interest.

I will gladly update or remove this review if the debt is settled in full.

Ordered many, many times and is my go-to for sports supplements. Genuinely shocked to see many of these poor reviews on here as I’ve genuinely never had a problem once. Always a reasonable price and quite often a few decent deals too.

I feel like this company have been given a bad image on trustpilot. At first I was quite skeptical due to all of the bad reviews. However I placed an order about 4 days ago and received it today. Great experience, and I would definitely purchase again.

still now you have not answered e-mail both directly to you and via the csn main site contact page i purchased fat burners from you on 6th September a day to two day delivery, the fat burners have not arrived i have asked either return of the money i pad or the item in question to arrive on several occasions you have refused to communicate i am providing you until Saturday October 5th 12 noon to either refund my money or to provide the item simple this is a form of fraud and it is against the law

By far the cheapest online for Gold standard whey, ordered at 2pm on a wednesday and arrived next day.

I ordered a supplement product as part of an order in excess of £100. The supplement was congealed and unusable. I took photo's and contacted this company several times over 2 weeks - No one responded until someone called 'Marc' emailed and said he would sort it. 1 week & several chase up emails later, 'Marc' hasn't kept his word and hasn't sorted it. I'm left with an unusable £37.99 product and this company couldn't care less.

Received the complete wrong order, tried to contact them numerous times and it's impossible. Multiple emails sent, no reply! the online chat is useless takes weeks to get a response and have not fulfilled my original order... now im left with an item I have no use for... steer Clear!

Poor, didn’t serve well

No product arrived. Tracking pic showed my doorstep and corner of closed door as proof of delivery.

Told they will keep my money until they have conducted an investigation with the bizarre line 'women take all kinds of photos'

Just awful, ill mannered and rude. Take your money elsewhere

Spot on service from Marc, helpful and full of advice

I placed an order on Friday at around 3pm, my order came the next day (Saturday) at 4pm. Item was packed very well and all items were included, no complaints whatsoever!

Disgusting customer service. Ordered the wrong item and wanted to either exchange it or wanted a refund. Rang the support line constantly busy line, wrote numerous emails nobody responded. Been over 3 weeks and nobody has responded to my emails and they are not picking up the phone.

On 29th November had email stating would be getting refund the company said could take upto 8 working days in which I feel is long time to wait for refund but if that what it is then thats fine but it is now 11 working days and no refund at all have contacted them several times they say they will look into it and call me back but have heard nothing at all and still waiting for refund

I've placed about five orders here - each came earlier than expected. My last order had a bit of a hiccup - I was expecting it today but it didn't ship. Someone rang me and explained the problem, and substituted a higher priced item I was interested in at no additional cost. Now that is great service!

Excellent communication and fast shipping. Will definitely order from them again.

Unfortunately misleading information from seller.
Very cheeky in my eyes. When you clearly state .do you want your product within 3 days.
Company turn around says ,,yes when we get order in stock " very appalling not the way keeping customers unfortunately.

Excellent products. These guys were a lifesaver over lockdown. Will be purchasing from them again soon.
