The hood was delivered a week late and arrived damaged. Service rep was nice and helpful, but stated he could only refund $110.00. We are unhappy with the overall experience. We were getting the tr... See more

part
Part was a great price and came faster than listed. It was an exact fit with no issues
I ordered a hood
I ordered a hood. It came damaged which wasn’t obvious looking at the large box it came in. Once we opened it there was another box the hood was in and it had obvious damage. Upon unboxing the second box it was clear the hood was damaged on 2 corners as if it had been dropped causing irreparable damage including a large dent. However upon contacting them immediately after via email they were very quick to respond and immediately made things right by sending me a full refund and allowing me to keep the hood which I greatly appreciated because as they stated it would’ve been too much trouble trying to send it back. I am disappointed I have to either buy another hood or somehow work with the one I have. Very inconvenient and time consuming process.
They entice you with cheap parts and fast shipping, shipping is not fast
Ordered the part for my son, cheap enough part but shipping was kind of expensive for the tiny part that I ordered.
Upon ordering their website told me he would have the part by this past Tuesday. Then I received a courtesy message from them saying it wouldn't be here until Friday. No part shows up on Friday I reviewed their "small print" shipping policy link. Basically, it could show up sometime next week. They make bogus promises for shipping on cheap parts to get people to traffic their website and purchase. If you have time to wait around for a part to show up eventually, then yes purchase from these guys. I thinking if you're like most people, you need a car part, you need it within a reasonable amount of time, this is not the place to order that part.
E-commerce glitch
First, let me say that I have ordered parts in the past from carparts.com and things have gone well. Pricing has been fair, and the parts have shown up in good shape.
This last order however, has been quite frustrating. On December 4 I went to car parts.com to order a bumper, a grill and a suspension rebuild kit for a Ford F150. Turns out I did not have enough room on my credit card to cover those parts. I see a link on carparts.com to Pay with a new PayPal credit card so I click on the link and I apply. I go through the process. I make the purchase on my newly approved PayPal credit card. Looks like everything is complete and I wait for a confirmation email from car parts.com saying that my parts are on the way. Check in the next day it appears that the parts are still in my shopping cart. I look at PayPal and see that the charge has been made, but it is showing as pending. I call car parts.com and get an overseas associate who says that somebody will call me back. No response. I fill out a customer service ticket, wait two days no response.
After leaving messages and contacting customer service, I see another charge come up. Only PayPal is now showing that it has declined. carparts.com has run a second charge to try to clear the cart. The transaction has declined because my new credit card has a small limit as I just applied for it.
I then call PayPal and they tell me that I have to wait for the transaction to drop off before I can make another charge.
I have a background in building custom e-commerce platforms. I can say with 100% certainty that this is a coding error between PayPal and car parts.com. Technology will only take you so far. You still have to have customer service when things like this happen…
I call carparts.com to ask if they can possibly expedite a second order I go into my shopping cart and now the cart is clear. Pull up parts but now the total order is more expensive. I bite it, place the order.
So eight days now, without my primary source of transportation, and a unresolved customer service ticket with carparts.com.
It seems to me that car parts. Customer service is not performing its function. I have had no communication from anybody that actually works within the company only a call center likely in India somewhere. Perhaps a not so great review on will get them communicating.
False advertisement
Ordered a blower motor resistor and wiring harness. Both pieces were advertised together. Resistor arrived but harness did not. When I contacted them they told me to initiate a return for a potential refund. You would think they would just send me what I ordered.
Ordered a hood
Ordered a hood. When I got it and opened it was covered in dents and looked like it had been folded in half and then tried to straighten it back out. The packaging was fine, no damage which makes me believe it didn’t happen in shipping. When I called, the lady was extremely rude and seemed incompetent because she would say one thing and then 30 seconds later say the exact opposite. She refused to transfer the call so I could talk to someone else and get a straight answer. The bumper brackets I ordered had the tabs welded in the wrong spot so they don’t fit. Absolute nightmare, save your money and go somewhere reputable!

I ordered a fuel tank and this company uses lso for deliveries and that company is a scam and contacted customer service at carpets and they said that they shipped the order and they don’t know what happened after that lso doesn’t have a customer number to contact them
BEWARE
BEWARE: selling parts not in-stock, never received, cancellation request not responded and not honored after one month, now disputing.
Just ordered a mirror assembly
Just ordered a mirror assembly. It arrived six days late. Upon install, the electric clip to attach the motor assembly did not fit the attachment clip from the other side. I provided the VIN from my car to match the part. If you are looking for a frustrating experience, you've found the right place.
Carparts.com are SOLID
Their customer service guy was friendly and knowledgeable. Parts arrive quickly as described. Solid quality parts.
This company is horrible
This company is horrible. Don’t order any parts unless you have a month or longer to wait for your shipment to arrive.
Happy to find CarParts
I was happy to find CarParts. Matching the parts to my car would have been difficult without CarParts' search by VIN feature. The front and rear bumper parts I bought for my 2027 Ford Explorer were perfect, and the price was very good. My car looks like new again.
Carparts.com- while filling out the…
Carparts.com- while filling out the order on the "delivery" section, it has a timer counting down and shows a day of delivery if you order within the time...on Nov 26 my wheel bearing and hub busted apart so i needed a new one for my truck as soon as possible. I could have gotten the part several places but chose carparts.com because it said it would be delivered on Friday Nov 28 which was good. I placed the order and made plans to be able to fix it then. However, after the order was placed and the middle of the next day I received an email and a text notification from carparts.com then saying that the order had shipped and showed delivery for Mon Dec 1st which defeated the whole reason I ordered from them in the first place! Now my work truck will be sitting broke down for an extra 3 days on top of the initial 2 days I was supposed to have had the parts on. They need to just remove the "order by" timer and delivery date from there order page because it lies which has cost me well over twice as much money and over twice as much down time not to mention the fact that my work truck is broke down in town and likely to get towed- costing me MORE money! I dont have time to be mislead like i was so I highly doubt ill ever order from carparts.com again due to that.

I received my auto parts in a timely manner and got it installed and my vehicle is running more smoothly. Thank you!
They only have a 30 day return policy…
They only have a 30 day return policy which wasn't long enough for my problem to surface. I bought the headlights in November 2024 because I knew prices would go up in 2025. Had them installed in the Spring of 2025, when the weather got warm enough to put them in. I saw that they were offline with the body of the car but was just thrilled that I had clear headlights and let it go. Now I'm stuck, not only with headlights that don't fit correctly but were not completely sealed, defective, and am now getting moisture inside the headlights. Very frustrating. I now have a door handle from them that needs to be installed and pray it works correctly. I'll need to rush the installation to see if it works. Will not buy from them again.
Quality is drastically down
Quality is drastically down! Cant cancel order and once you get part the refund takes too long.
Scam - Lock you in a Contract
I bought a power window regulator which was ok and signed up for just 1 month of their membership to get free shipping. I tried to cancel and they said I signed up for 1yr of the membership which is false since I read the terms and conditions and said nothing with 1 year contract. I had to dispute it with my bank and get a new credit card so they'd stop charging me. Dirty business from a parts company..
Price lower than any others
Price lower than any others. Notifications on order, delivery excellent. Shipping time excellent.
However they have a prompt that states, get $15. back on order placed. Proceeds to ask for cc info to send the $15. After giving cc info there's that infamous box to check agreeing to terms. Terms are $1.99 initial charge then $19.99 a month agreeing to something related to e-mails. Be careful and always read that box.
Sent me an empty bag no car part…
Sent me an empty bag no car part inside. When I contacted they said sorry you didn’t pay the shipping insurance. I disputed with my bank as I paid for a car part not an empty bag. Will never order from this site again.
