Worst mistake ever

First time ordering from carparts the worst mistake l made order arrive in September I was hospitalized in October when I got out was able to get the part installed the part they sent was the wrong size they guarantee fit they refused to give me an refund saying it's past they 30 day regardless it was their fault do to wrong part sent..l will never order from them again they had nerve try offer me a 10 percent coupon code then have the nerve to tell me try sell item on eBay or marketplace...think twice before ordering from them

Beware of CarPart

I ordered a part from CarPart. First indication I got something was wrong was that there was a delivery problem. Several weeks passed and still no delivery. I checked out the tracking number and it showed the product had been shipped all over the country. The problem came about because the zip code I put in coded it to a wrong town. I contacted CarPart to have them correct this problem and they told until USPS returned the part to them there was nothing they could do and once they received it they would issue me a refund. But,yes, there was something they could do and that would be to refund my undelivered purchase and they could wait until the part is delivered to them by USPS. This experience has turned me off from purchasing from CarParts in the future. Another red flag for me was within 30 minutes of placing the order I tried to cancel the order. There is no way to cancel online. You must use a contact by phone. I was told that the part had already been placed with shipping (which I find hard to believe and couldn't be cancelled. Be cautious buying from this company.

A scam business

website does not work. It is a fraudulent and misleading information provided to customers. They do not refund money when you have order or product issues. They lie to customers. I had their customer service admit to me in email that they still owe me hundreds of dollars, but more than a month has gone by and still no refund. The other scammers working in customer service are giving me a runaround and do not want to refund my money. I swear to God, rocks are smarter than these people. Do not do business with these people.

I’m not happy

I’m not happy. I ordered an interior door handle, passenger side, for a Dodge Caliber. Total cost, incl shipping and tax, $23.17, a pretty good deal.
I very timely received an interior door handle, DRIVER side, for a Dodge Caliber.
I entered into the highly automated process of returning and replacing the part. In order to return the part, I have to pay for shipping. I was not given the option of a simple corrective exchange.
I’ve been given an RMA but to exercise it I have accept a refund of $4.85. That doesn’t even pay for my gas to the UPS site nearest my place.
I’ve opted to get the part from Rock Auto instead.

I ordered a mirror which I required in…

I ordered a mirror which I required in a timely manner and when I saw it sitting in the warehouse 3 days after order I requested cancellation, so customer service waited 2 days, when they shipped it, to respond they couldn’t cancel it now. The return instructions are almost threatening, to use their label or possibly wait months for refund “if they can find the part”. I used their label and the extra shipping box they required. They also waited until the part shipped to inform me it wasn’t what I ordered but another brand, so I was refunded $20 less than I paid and I think they use shipping as revenue. Terrible company. Stay far away

They gave me a damage tailgate that was…

They gave me a damage tailgate that was fixable and I failed a claim with extend but they’re website was faulty and I couldn’t upload photos for my claim and then it took the long enough to fix it where it was past the 30 day of my warranty and both customer suppers were absolutely useless on helping me.

If I could put “0” stars I would. Crappy shipping, and the fact that you Must buy insurance on your purchase in order for you to get a return tells their service/shipping are a joke. Will never shop there again

Ordered a radiator that arrived broken

Ordered a radiator that arrived broken, but luckily I had the shipping protection, but was a huge hassle to redeem. Ordered another radiator that arrived broken in the exact same spot because they don’t know how to package something correctly. Another huge hassle to get my money back which comes via a virtual Visa card which is also ridiculous! Avoid Carparts.com if you value your sanity.

Sent wrong part, only received partial refund

Ordered a part and was sent the wrong one. Called and had to speak to 3 different representatives to get a replacement order on the way. I was initially told I would have to return the part and pay for shipping before they would send a replacement. I told them that wasn’t happening since it was their mistake. Finally got a representative to put in the replacement order and told me I could keep the incorrect part. When the correct part finally showed up, it didn’t fit even though it was a “guaranteed fit”. Went through the return process to get a refund and noticed I was only getting a partial refund. Called again and was told “they forgot” to refund the remaining amount and would put in a request to for the full amount to be refunded. I think they just hope you don’t notice or will go through the effort of calling to try to get all your money back.

97 Explorer taillight assembly

I had broken my taillight assembly. Car Parts had it in stock, and very reasonably priced. My Explorer is a '97, and finding any who stocks pats for it is unusual. The purchase was easy, and it arrived very promptly. Excellent company to do business with.

Wrong part/delivered before discovery

Got part delivered before I reviewed email conformation. Wrong part so I checked email and saw it was for incorrect part. Company stonewalled me on return. Refusal to any wrongdoing on the company. Shipping is more than I paid for the part. Absolute refusal to give me any relief. Been in the business since 1970. Got more things to do than check emails. Don't do business with j.c. whitney/carparts.com. No return policy worth anything.

Hood arrived a week late AND damaged

The hood was delivered a week late and arrived damaged. Service rep was nice and helpful, but stated he could only refund $110.00. We are unhappy with the overall experience. We were getting the truck painted and it arrived late for our appointment. We actually had to pick it up from the shipping company ourselves or would have been another day late. Will never order from them again.

Zero stars

If it were possible, I would give zero stars. I purchased a car accessory that turned out to be cheaply made and defective. When I reached out for support, no one actually answered my questions—every response appeared to be an automated email that didn’t address the real issue. Despite repeatedly stating that my product was defective, the only replies I received were about delivery, not the problem itself. It’s clear the company never read my messages. Avoid at all costs—this business is a sham.

This is the worst company imaginable

This is the worst company imaginable! Go to your local auto parts store, even if it’s a national chain. If they don’t have a part, they can probably order it. At least you can talk with a live person and if a part is wrong, bring it back in person. They decide when they get the part back if they want to accept it, if they don’t, its on your dime to ship it back!

WARNING: Horrible company! Do NOT order from carparts.com who uses GLS as their shipping company that’s worthless! Been waiting 5 days past promised delivery date for my part and apparently if you don’t get the protection plan, you don’t get your money back either!
