Are they real

Does this company exist?? I am seriously worried now they are a con, the contact number is a recorded message repeated over and over you end up hanging up the phone I've had no response to my query online. I have just lost a perfectly good phone.
I just hope one day when I am short of £100 it appears in my account

Wish I saw this before I posted!!!

I sent my phone off on Thursday 14th November but my account is still saying pack sent to customer. I'm really not happy that they sent me the pack out to quickly post back but this apparent scam has been going on for months!!
To a previous comment, if people go down there they get paid? do they really get paid??

AVOID THIS COMPANY ITS A SCAM YOU WONT GET PAID

Cash4phones is a scam and you wont get paid
firstly they offer you more money than other recycle companies, but you wont get paid the amount they originally offered, it will be a far less amount if you are lucky to get paid at all. I am still waiting for payment 5 weeks after they received my phone.
(phone delivered to them 3/10/2013.)
They offered me £36 for my HTC which was in excellent condition.
when they received my phone they then said it had excessive wear and offered me £12.88.
I asked for the phone to be returned to me & I was told i would have to pay £8.95 postage for a phone to be returned,I complained about the price of returning my phone to me & they then offered me a revised price of £24 for phone .
After reading reveiws. I never expected to get the phone back even if I paid the return postage price & i reluctantly accepted the £24 offer.
They have said the 1st cheque must of gone missing & that another will be sent out the same day, which i still have not received & they will not answer emails.
I am still waiting to be paid & its the 12/11/2013.
If I help stop one person using this company then writing this review will of be worth it.
Mr done.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Applied on line to sell them my Samsung galaxy s for £66.04 for a working phone. A non working phone was quoted at £24 something. Best quote from any other recycling company. Got my "kit" a few days later. Phone was in near mint condition when sent. Wrapped up in lots of paper towel to protect it. 7 days later after an email from me they said they had received my phone and would test it and send me confirmation of the test. Later the same day got an email saying good news my phone had been tested but due to excessive wear and tear my offer was reduced to £27. Now nowhere on the site does it give a price for excessive wear and tear. My understanding was working or non working. So rang them up. Spoke to a guy called Piers who was very helpful, best thing about this company is this bloke. He went and looked at the phone and came back with a better offer of £45 which I accepted. This was on 4th July. On 12 July they said my payment had been made to my account and would take 3-14 working days. Today is now working day 16 and still no payment. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT SLL COSTS

BEWARE OF SCAM... offer half original quote, charge to return phone, ignore emails, default to half payment

Offered good price online
Sent in phone
They said screen was scratched and revised to 50% original quote
(It was in mint condition and packaged well)
Given option to accept or reject
If rejected, £9 to return phone
If ignored, defaults to acceptance after a week
Chose to email to get photographic evidence showing IMEI number on screen
Got an email bounce due to some shoddy forwarding they use
Received 2 chase emails to accept/reject and replied to each cc-ing as many addresses as possible
No response
Today they paid 50% original quote

Very annoyed and frustrated

Am convinced this is a deliberate scam.

BEWARE.

Rip off!!

I sent my HTC to this company in their free post envelope, and because they stated they would give me £37, the next day i had an email saying my phone had excessive wear and tear and they would only give me £22! My phone had no wear and tear, so i declined their offer and asked for it to be sent back, but i had to pay £4.95 on my card there and then to get my phone! WILL NOT BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN BEWARE
