Visited the Barnsley shop today to sell some scrap gold. The guys in there were amazing and explained everything to us and gave us the best price we’d been offered all day. Will definitely be visiting again when we have more scrap gold.

There was a drill with a 4AH battery in the cabinet in the battery was buttoned so I asked if I could have the battery from a different tool and they agreed to charge me an extra £10 because the battery was slightly bigger 5ah.
The battery would only charge to 1 bar when I got home, so I took it back to the shop for a couple of days later and ask them to exchange the battery only and he told me they couldn’t do that because it’s not something they do and I said, but you’ve just done it with this battery. He said, my shop, my rules, if you don’t like it, take your money back and don’t come back.
I paid for a taxi to pay it in the first place and a taxi home and then a return taxi to return the item so I was out of pocket £24 and all of the staff teamed up together and kicked me out of the shop.
Took 3 weeks for the refund to go back into my bank.
I also bought a saw 3 days before which I only used for the first time last week and this happened several months ago and it started smoking and stunk of fire but it’s all good, I have foundation weakness in the shop & I’m not financially complaining.
1 day I’m going to do it for a huge amount just before I share ‘The money at will’ - method with the internet so everyone who does it has a Christmas…. or 2, of their life’s ‘on Cash Generator.
The name of the company is rubbing it in your face.. generating cash (your cash). I hope you feel better knowing that the company are not getting all of it, not with me around.
I will be setting an instergram, TikTok& Youtube page up in a few weeks (once I’vegot what I want, I’ll be doing £50-£500 giveaways & revealing the method to people who have shopped at the shop from beginning of time to July 2026 and a few days later, I will put it all on the page for everyone.
If anyone is genuinely in financial hardship then get in touch for a gift.

Stolen, missing or contract not paid iPhone...phone now useless
It appears I am now in receipt of a phone that is either considered as Lost, Missing, stolen or contract not paid.
I purchased an second hand Iphone in 2025, worked perfectly for for 11 months and a couple of weeks, but we found out the phone that we purchased from an Cash Generators store via ebay is now no longer useable as it has been reported by the original owner as either no contract paid, lost , missing or stolen on July the 31st of 2026, this affected the phone on the 5th of August, as blocks / blacklisting are not instant to the device, the phone has been verified as blacklisted by Apple customer support, EE and the online service Checkmend.
I contacted the store in questions they said there was nothing they could do about it, so I contacted Cash Generators head office via their email address, they replied once with that they would and I quote "Please note that I have forwarded this matter on to a senior manager for their attention and have asked that they investigate the situation and liaise with you directly on a resolution."
No reply since the 6th of August, I feel that I am now been ignored.
I contacted citizens advice bureau and they have explained the store legally has to deal with the situation.
I find this to be an unfair situation, I bought a used phone from a Cash generators store and now the original owner of the phone regardless of the length of time that has passed from the purchase date has now made the phone unuseable.
I have read through the comments on here and Cash generators do appear to say they will make contact or to contact them....I have contacted them, one reply and no further follow up.
