Poor experience, lack of information
We had wooden flooring installed by Cambridge Flooring Showroom (CFS Ltd) throughout our entire downstairs, and the initial experience seemed fine—until a few months later when the flooring became extremely scratched and started looking worn. When we contacted the company, they informed us that the floor needed to be sealed, which was never mentioned during the purchasing nor the installation process. The owner, Daren, had previously visited our house to measure up, and there was plenty of opportunity for him to advise us of this.
Due to their lack of professionalism and communication we had to get the floor sanded and sealed (we did this with another company), which was a significant additional cost that could have been avoid had CFS explained the need for sealing. Had we known the flooring wasn't sealed we wouldn't have gone with it.
We do not recommend as they cut corners and fail to inform their customers on important information that will cause an impact.
