Absolutely love our Charnwood Bay BX Wood burner, installed by Kernow Fires. The fire looks very modern and stylish but more importantly provides efficient warmth to our home. Thank you Charnwood for a very 1st class product.

I recently ordered a spare part for my stove , I had a visitor when it arrived , he commented " you can tell a lot about a firm by their care/attention to detail of their packaging - very professional " . Great firm to deal with .

We bought a Charnwood Haven. It's a fabulous stove. Delivered promptly and really well packaged on a pallet.
Installation went well but here is where it dropped a star. The fitter came across a small manufacturing defect (bracket weld not 90 degrees) so we rang for some help. We had a fix, but didn't want to invalidate the warranty. But for two hours, we were denied access to any technical help. The person concerned kept repeating the installation instructions which we had, and flatly refused to accept there could be a fault, and refused access to anyone senior, despite our fitter being on site in the middle of installation.
When we did finally get to speak to management they were very helpful, reviewed our photos, could see the issue and agreed to our solution. But......I hope they have reviewed the technical help process.
I'd have really loved to have given it five stars, the stove so deserves it.
Update - Charnwood contacted me about my experience and kindly offered to take feedback which I have provided. I'm fairly certain my experience wouldn't happen again to someone else. Thank you for doing this.

Faultless installation by Heritage Stoves (Guisborough). Thick and uneven stone walls to contend with. Left everything clean and tidy.
Able to use a snug room, which previously was always cold.

I wanted to give some feedback on the Charnwood Aire 7 I installed in October last year, so I've had 6 months with it over the Winter too.
I have to say it is the most wonderful of wood burners I have ever owned. Easy to light, easy to control, easy to clean. In fact I have only ever cleaned the glass once, then just with a damp cloth. Emptying the ash is only needed every few weeks. The quality of the engineering is top-notch and this stove must be the result of a lot of development. At minimum air it just keeps ticking over, at maximum it really kicks out the heat, and there's everything in between. A typical evening we will burn just 4 decent hardwood logs - about half of what we used on the open fire, and you get more and better controllable heat too. Every home should have one!

Customer Service is second to none. They do what it says on the tin. 5* all round.

We were advised the 5kw would be the right choise by our installer but alas ww could only fit a 5"flue, so had to download size to the 3 7kw, although smaller this dose still give off good heat, we will have to wait till next winter now to see if it performs for us.
Love the style, although we do get a little wind noise on windy days.

The guys that came to fit the stove, were so careful, keeping everything clean with minimal disruption.

The choice of Log Burner was spot on. To have our evenings turned from cold to warm was lovely and the heat from our Charnwood made us very cosy.
