Had the Worst experience with this company. I do not recommend them. Everybody is out to make money these days and they are no different.
I was told that they would help me solve my debt issue and do it for $1000 cheaper than any other company plus work to restore my credit. I thought that was a good deal until the first time they took out a payment.
I realized after the payment was taken out that they put all of my credit cards on there instead of just the two that they were authorized to take care of. The contract was drawn up completely wrong and they took out double the money from my bank account. Not only did they cost me an overdraft fee but they also charged me $10.95 for taking the payment out. That’s not counting their percentage.
After this, I was automatically done with this company. I told them to cancel the contract and return the money to my bank account. I told them what they did wrong and They didn’t want to take any responsibility.
They refunded all the money except for $10.95, which they told me was their takeout fee and they refused to give it back or pay the overdraft fee even though it was their mistake.
I was stuck with paying it all.
Between the overdraft fee and their $10.95 This company ended up costing me $50 for absolutely nothing. Not one thing was resolved.
Be careful and read the contract two or three times if you go with this company.
To citizens debt relief: I do not want an apology from you nor a dispute on this review. It’s 100% true and I have all emails to prove it so don’t bother. The economy is horrible right now and you need to treat people right. These are our lives, not a get rich quick scheme.

I told you I did not want a response from your company. First of all, what does me being on the program for 42 months have to do with any of this? Second, You said the $10.95 fee was for the contract I signed for taking the payment out So if you didn’t take it, then Who did? Sorry, I feel this way. That’s an understatement. I’m sorry your company is that way and can’t do a contract. My opinion of your company is very warranted. Good luck with your company.
And that’s why I had a $3100. You paid 800 on one and 124 on another and kept the rest for yourself. How is that helping me? Even after Paying all your fees you still wanted more I don’t care if it was only 20 bucks a Month For you issuing a check or sending it to your bank. As much as you made off of me, I should not have to pay anything extra and that would’ve total $820 in your pocket so that would be almost $3000 You would make off of me by the time I would be finished with the program And that precisely why I fired you!!!

Been trying to cancel my account and they have prolonged the process. Have not recieved any response to my emails or calls. Very limited communication.

I was skeptical at first but they are the real deal. Noah was able to help me take the weight of debt off my shoulders after experiencing a terrible health and loss of income in 2024. Kudos to Noah Sherman and the whole team.

I’ve only dealt with a few of Citizens team members, but Evan is by far the most efficient in my humble opinion. My experience with Citizens thus far has been amazing, they’re straight to the point, very informative and they make the overall experience of eliminating your debt very smooth. Whenever I need to make a change to my profile or have general questions they are easy to get in touch with. I would highly recommend them to anyone who may be struggling with managing their debt.
