Took ages, poor packaging
Ordered a limited edition KB Manteca from City Beach, not just for the shoes, but for the full collector’s experience. After nearly 5 weeks of waiting, the shoes arrived in just a plastic bag, with the special KB box completely damaged. There wasn’t even a box to protect the shoebox.
Terrible experience. Wish I had ordered directly from DC.

My husband and I went to the Tweed City City Beach store today looking for sneakers for our son in Adelaide. The young store manager / assistance with Blondish hair was sensational.
We didn't get her name but she is a customer service GEM !!!

Great items until you have to deal with…
Great items until you have to deal with customer service. I unpacked my sons and my jumpers so excited to have new clothing. His was packaged…mine looked like someone sent out their own jumper even without tags! I was unhappy with their fit which usually I could return but since I didn’t have the tag, I contacted their customer service! From here I was called a liar and that they don’t send out items without attached tags. When if I had a tag I have a tag gun and could have just reattached it! But without the tag they refused an exchange! All within 20mins of me getting the bag from the delivery driver!
I will never use this company again!

Unfortunately a deceptive practice in exchange for your data
Unfortunately, CityBeach feels way too comfortable advertising false promotions and not honouring those.
They came up with a 20% off promo, which appears and does not exclude sales items when you sign up.
After the fact, when you signed up, gave them all your details and they got their share of data - the code does not work. When asked the C.S. team about this, we were brushed off.
Doesn't matter the item you wanted to purchase has the 'banner' on it saying it is eligible for the sale.
Doesn't matter the terms and conditions presented to you when you sign up do not mention the exclusions -
its your issue, and they feel that they are above the Consumer Law and regulations.

niceLocation - but ...
The location is nice and most of the employees are pretty cool. However we had stress with the responsibles because of some kids having fun on a birthday. They were not cool about it even though the problem got resolved immediately after they noticed us and we spent > 500€ All in all it leaves a stain on the experience. Never again.

I ordered shoes on special few day later they give a refund of a less amount and then put the price up so I have no shoes and have to wait days to get money back in bank

Absolutely thrilled with my purchase from City Beach. It arrived a few days after ordering. Seven pairs of the nicest sunglasses for around $50 with postage. They were all on sale. So glad I ordered from City Beach. Will definitely order again.
Delivery driver I believe has tried…
Delivery driver I believe has tried delivering today to the wrong house. Seko Logistics is the courier, email sent to me that I should have received a delivery note to say where my parcel can be collected but I haven’t received anything other than an email to say driver could not deliver this however doesn’t need a signature so the driver never left it in a safe place. Obviously couldn’t find the house. Not sure where my parcel is right now but I know the driver never came to my door today.

Cullen is a lovely small village with a wonderful beach. We, really enjoyed our day here. Just one thing to avoid though, and that is the beach refreshments and burger van. YUK.We bought 2 teas a coffee and a portion of chips, and they were so disgusting that after just one sip and one chip we threw them away. It looks a nice enough place, but just do not bother wasting your money.

Do not buy from this store if you want to be valued as a customer. I bought a school bag for my daughter for the start of her first year of high school. The bag didn't last the term. The zipper completely broke in the last week of term 1. Even though this was a faulty item they refused to even offer in store credit as it fell outside the pathetic 30 day warranty that applies to faulty items as well as change of mind. They didn't care that the bag had only been used within 30 days because the receipt purchase was earlier because I had purchased it before school started making it void the "warranty". I could not deal with any managers in store, instead I was directed to the "customer service" option which were just emails back and forth telling me to post the item to them at my own expense for review. I think their strategy is to just wear you down until you give up. They clearly don't care about customer retention and the fact that you can't leave reviews on their website on specific products should be a dead give away at how bad their products are.

False representation
Was looking for a Hot Wheels Big Rigs 5 Alarm for my 4 year old grandson. City Beach showed they had one on their web site. So order it in hopes of getting it before the end of the month to give to my grandson on vacation. Item finally came in and it was not what was advertised on the internet. Instead they sent Hot Wheels Big Rigs Loco Punk which he already has! Talk to customer service and there was no remorse for their mistake. My 4 year old grandson had his heart set on getting HW 5 Alarm. Thanks City Beach!

Poor packing and size guides.
Ordered trainers to be shipped to the UK. Sent in a plastic bag and the box arrived crushed. No other store I buy trainers from sends them out in such flimsy packaging, let alone for an international shipping.
Size guide inaccurate on the item page.
Overall a good price and reasonable delivery time but completely ruined by the lack of attention to packaging and misleading size guides.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & INCOMPETENCE IN PACKING CORRECT ORDER!
Placed ordered with CORRECT sizes I wanted which were ALL available. Order took ages to arrive only to find they sent me wrong size. They asked for photos as they seem to not believe I received a half size as “we don’t stick half sizes”. Now they don’t have any stock left in my correct size. Tried to escalate my complaint, only to get a message stating I was “offered a free shipping return ad an apology”!
For THEIR stuff up! What a joke!

Shocking customer service
I ordered online and my order arrived in good condition. The problem I have is that I did not receive an email to confirm my order had been placed nor did I receive my tax invoice. I have tried to contact City Beach Australia for over a week now. I have used the "contact us" form on the help page of the website. No one has replied. Today I decided to call them no one answered and the call went to voicemail. I left a lengthy message asking that if they could send my order confirmation and tax invoice. What if I need to return my order? I don't even have an email to confirm my order even though the order has been received. I would really appreciate if someone from City Beach would contact me. Shocking customer service.

Shocking customer service and quality of goods
I bought a pair of pants that shrank so much after one standard (not hot) wash that they are now completely unwearable. There were no special washing instructions on the product page, and I own similar items from other brands that have never shrunk, let alone by several centimeters like these.
I contacted customer service, provided photos, and politely asked for a refund. They refused a refund and suggested the issue is my fault and that I didn't follow washing instructions despite the fact that there weren't any.
As an Australian customer, you are entitled to quality products, and these miss the mark entirely. Spending $60 on pants that last one wash is unacceptable, and refusing to resolve the issue is even worse. Don’t waste your money here. Their customer service is absolutely pathetic.
