Excellence at Citygate West London
Professional staff, made me feel welcomed on arrival by greeting. My car needed a major service and MOT. I felt valued as I was explained of what would happen, how long it would take and when complete a phone call to collect. I also received a video inspection report on my car and the car was cleaned inside and out. An excellent service at Citygate West London which I have been going to for over 5 years.
Amazing service
Amazing service. Very understanding, great staff and I must say that they really value the customer!
Thank you Mark!
Had a really good experience while having car serviced at Citygate Ruislip last week. Mark was our contact and he went above and beyond to ensure our experience was positive. Thank you Mark 👍
My MOT experience was seamless
My MOT experience was seamless . Marc made sure that everything’s done perfectly
Service Experience Ruislip
Was met at City Gate ruislip by Chase and service handled by Clare. Both very welcoming and accommodating with my concerns and made the experience positive. Clare further answered any questions I had post service thoroughly and spoke me through the processes. Both a credit to the team.
Very good service
Clyde was very clear in our 2 phone calls, and those in Reception were very good when I brought in and then collected my car.
Very friendly and considerate staff
Very friendly and considerate staff. Quick turn around with the car service and keeping me informed.

I went to Citygate watford Skoda dealership, the manager there Daniel and colleague Ricardo met with me and explained all the offers and vehicles that were available to me for my budget . They were both fantastic, I would recommend going there
Everyone is very polite and friendly
Everyone is very polite and friendly. I always speak to the salesman that sold me the car over 2 years ago. I feel confident that the work carried out on my vehicle is to a high standard. I like the fact that they send a video of the MOT vehicle inspection, and checklist provided. My vehicle had a major service and MOT which was expensive. However, I did ask and was kindly given a generous discount. Great customer service and very positive experience.

Don’t buy a new car from citygate
Don’t buy a new car from citygate
My new car was parked tightly between 2 cars and had not been cleaned properly
Once I got it home there was a small dent in the driver’s door and other marks on the paint work
The number plates had come apart and fitted out of level
Had to take it back for the dent and the plates to be fixed.
On return the number plates were bubbled and even more out of level
The dent had been half fixed
The sales manager couldn’t care less about it and lied about me being the only one who had problems with my number plates when the other staff had already told me that they had a problem with the plate machine.
Had to rebook it in for the damage door
I decided not to let them do this as they can’t even fit a number plate.
They would only make it worse
Had to purchase number plates and fit them myself
I also had a problem with the set up on the app and they did phone me back to put it right but didn’t know what they were doing so said that they would call me back. That was 3 weeks ago and now don’t respond to any emails
Thankfully google helped me with this.
They also give customers bottles of wine for a good review
I don’t think I will be getting any
Not even a apology
Terrible company with no customer service if they get it wrong
The Cupra car is great
Just buy one from a dealer who cares
This was my forth time and the Food…
This was my forth time and the Food was lovely as always. But the price has rocketed which I can understand but then to only give you half the amount of meat that they used to on top of a price hike. Only one slice of belly pork cut in half.. and you always used to get a complimentary Bloody Mary. Which you no longer get. Even though the signs still say you do. £63 for two pints and a platter is quite expensive. £70 with gratuity. I’ll probably try other places next time

I have just had my car serviced by Citygate West London.I would like to say a big thank you to the staff who looked after everything. Unfortunately owing to a fault in their computer system, the service was delayed. However, Clyde and his team including Vithursa in Reception demonstrated excellent customer service. Thank you.
slow and complex in answering the phone
Getting through to someone to speak to is an achievement, they are so slow and complex in answering the phone
Initial first point of sale was ok
Initial first point of sale was ok, did not feel pressurised by salesman at all.
Agreed to purchase a VW Golf with add on extras as in Wheel and alloy protection, Paint protection, two services and GAP Insurance.
Left a £500 holding deposit which was meant to be refunded on day of collection.
Collected the car on 4th August - had no follow up call to see how the car was or if I was happy etc.
Chased multiple times for add on extras paperwork, finally received it excluding GAP insurance because according to the salesman it was omitted to keep the price down to a minimum?? This was not the case, we had requested it and he quoted the finance with this included.
Still over three weeks on, have not been refunded my £500 holding deposit and the staff including the manager are not responding to my emails!!!!!!
I actually wish I had gone elsewhere now, appalling service, clearly have little respect for their customers once a sale has been made.

⭐ 1 star – Extremely disappointing experience
I honestly cannot recommend Citygate Škoda Slough after the experience I have had purchasing a vehicle from them.
I purchased a 2020 Škoda Kodiaq SportLine for £24,995 from Citygate Slough on 21 March 2026. Within just two days of collecting the vehicle, the engine management light (EML) came on.
I took the vehicle to a Škoda-approved garage for investigation. I was advised that, among other issues, the bush arms were extremely worn, and I was told they should not have been in that condition on a vehicle that had recently passed its MOT and had been sold to me.
Despite repairs and further investigations, the underlying engine management problem continued. The EML went off temporarily and then returned. I also experienced poor fuel consumption, rough gear changes and the vehicle using an excessive amount of fuel. At one point I was putting around £20 of fuel in almost every day simply to get to work and take my child to nursery.
Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. Communication from Citygate was extremely poor throughout the entire process. I was repeatedly left having to call and chase for updates and answers myself. This wasn’t just with one member of staff — I experienced a lack of communication from multiple members of staff, including management.
There were occasions where I couldn’t even get the answers I needed directly from the dealership, to the point where I had to go through Škoda Customer Service myself just to try to get through to the garage and find out what was happening with my own vehicle.
All of this was happening while I was heavily pregnant and caring for a two-year-old, which made the lack of communication and constant chasing even more stressful and difficult.
The vehicle was also returned from repair with damage and missing parts, adding even more frustration to an already unacceptable situation.
The vehicle was eventually taken back for further investigation and I spent weeks dealing with the situation, trying to get answers and trying to resolve what had become a very stressful problem.
I ultimately exercised my final right to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act. Even then, the process of getting the rejection and refund resolved was far more drawn out and stressful than I believe it should have been.
After months of dealing with faults, garages, correspondence and waiting for the buy-back/refund process to be completed, I have now finally received my refund.
I am relieved to have the matter behind me, but the whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. Buying a nearly £25,000 car from a main dealer should give you confidence that the vehicle is reliable and that, if something does go wrong, you will receive proper support and communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
The biggest disappointment wasn’t simply that the car had problems — used cars can have issues. It was the length of time it took to resolve everything, the lack of communication, the constant chasing I had to do myself, the damage and missing parts, and the amount of stress and inconvenience caused to me and my family.
I am grateful that I have finally received my money back and can put the whole experience behind me. However, based on my experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from Citygate Škoda Slough and would think very carefully before recommending them to anyone else.
I hope Citygate takes this feedback seriously and looks at how customers are treated when something goes wrong after they have purchased a vehicle.
An utter shambles
An utter shambles. Took my car in for a simple repair. Someone at the reception desk ask me for my name. When I told them, they said "no, your name". Just because my name is different, I don't need it disregarded like this. I find the less insulting approach to be what others have done, and simply ask 'can you spell that for me please?' They then took 2 days to determine that the wrong part was ordered. No communication, and when I spoke to someone from the repair team, he was extremely rude and unprofessional.
