I store loads of data on external hard drives connected to my Mac computer. Three weeks ago I open one of the hard drives and it appeared totally blanc and hundreds of files were missing, many were photographs, Videos of bands I've played in and a whole host of important documents. I found Diskdrill on line and did some research. I was a little bit sceptical but tried their free version which pulled up hundreds of files so I decided to buy the program. At first I struggled but after contacting the company they guided me through the process. Diskdrill recovered hundreds of files including many that I'd forgotten about. Hat's off to Diskdrill and the team behind it. Excellent product and unbelievable customer service. Lesson now learned and I have two backups for everything.

Found via google search when I had a corrupted video on BeastCam which would not even open. I uploaded it. They sent a fixed file in 10 mins which was better but jumpy. I asked them if they could improve it and they did overnight for the same fee. They were a lifesaver. Happy to recommend.

Disk Drill by CleverFiles did for me what other software couldn't; restore deleted precious drone footages. And the bonus, filenames were also restored in the process. This software does what it is supposed to and does it well. Honestly, one of the best software purchases I have ever made.

CleverFiles AKA Disk Drill is bs. What a ripoff

Highly recommend Disk Drill. Saved 150GB of corrupted files including the priceless Christmas card address excel file.

There are some negative reviews online that almost put me off buying this. I tried Windows File recovery and just could not get the syntax to work. So I purchased DiskDrill from Cleverfiles and it worked just fine. I had been using VVPro to backup files and when the disk letters changed unnoticed I accidentally overwrote good files with old one, and lost a week's unrecoverable work. Diskdrill got it all back, albeit after quite a few hours. I'm a little puzzled about one thing. Without being asked it also recovered deleted files from my system disk, and actually that gave me a pleasant surprise too - a file I thought was gone forever. In this one day's exercise it has paid for itself twice over.

Just wanted to say that Disk Drill v6 did a great job recovering data from a Sony A7 IV memory card using the Advanced Camera Scan mode about two weeks ago. Filtering the results by date was also much faster than with UFS Explorer.

I bought a lifetime license for Disk Drill Pro in 2019 via a reseller (StackCommerce).

As life happens, I periodically replace my computer(s) (old machine being upgraded, or machine needs to be sent to Apple for repairs under warranty, where Apple normally ends up wiping the hard drive, etc.). I get the device back, try to activate Disk Drill Pro - but after a few activations, Disk Drill Pro started refusing to activate.

Given I did not buy the license directly from Cleverfiles, I could not use their self-service "Reset Activations" function, because the reseller (StackCommerce) needed to give me information I needed for the self-service website, but they failed to provide this information.

Fortunately, reaching out to Cleverfiles support, and after explaining the situation, one of their representatives (Svitlana S) was very helpful, friendly, and professional, and explained that I can contact their support email in these cases and they can manually reset the activations for me.

Problem solved! Next time I need licenses from them, I will go to them directly. Awesome customer service!

My experience with CleverFiles was 1000% great! They recovered a file from my drone, collapsed after a fight with a bird (unbelievable!) ...so, they restored a corrupted mp4 video, thank you so much! My video is safe and.... funny after all aaahha

I have been using Disk Drill around 5 years now and it has got me out of trouble many times as I am always fiddling with my computer. Today I needed the instructions and keycode to install the software on my new system. I have had to reach out to the staff at Cleverfiles more times than I can remember for a multitude of different requests and every time I do they are very quick to return my emails and solve my problem. I have used many different free and paid file recovery programs. Many did nothing at all. I was concerned at hiking over, I don't remember now but it was well over $100 for the lifetime upgrade. Now I am at liberty to tinker with my BIOS and overclock everything or install a dual boot system because I know that I have a byte to byte back up of the entire system I can restore everything with. Peace of mind is worth it's weight in gold when you rely on your computer like I do.

By mistake I managed to reformat my old hard drive before copying all files and data to the new. I was in big trouble since I deleted all my old family photos and other personal data files. That says it all on how much i know about computers and how to work with them! I started searching online for software and applications to restore my deleted files and I came across Disk Drill. With so many positive and negative reviews, i decided to give it a try and installed the free limited recovery edition. After running the initial test, the application was able to recover some of my files. I was very impressed with how it labeled and categorized the folders and file locations. I didn't have to look in every folder to see what files were there. I knew my folder structure and where i saved my pictures, music, personal files and all my data on my old drive. Disk Drill saved me a lot of time to find all my files and i decided to go ahead and purchase the software. After downloading the full version and running the deep scan of the old formatted drive, i was able to recover all my data without any problem. During running the software I had a few questions and was able to contact their customer service online and they answered every one of my questions in a matter of minutes. Thank you Diana! Not sure why many negative review on the application, but it worked perfectly as expected even for someone not as experienced like me. Thank you Disk Drill you saved me. Very impressed and highly recommended.

I can't speak highly enough about CleverFiles. I repaired 1 file using their online tool which worked perfectly. My 2nd file was greater than 5GB but the team worked their magic and sent it over to me completely repaired. Great service, amazing customer care and a great outcome. Thank you

I accidentally erased a 14TB hard drive with a digital lifetime of over several hundred thousand music files. So I turned to CleverFiles Disk Drill to rescue them.

Several times while using the app I consulted with CleverFiles Support. Each time my questions and concerns were answered patiently.

I am very happy with the customer service and the performance of Disk Drill. I got back 99% of my files in their original condition. What was lost were some files missing metadata, and some others where a few music albums were recovered with jumbled partial tracks.

My advice to anyone using this app is to go slow and read carefully. If you follow the directions to the letter all should go well. Be sure to contact support if you are not sure.

Video, delete ho gaya hai

CleverFiles WORKS! Tried VLC and HandBrake, got nowhere. Uploaded the 4GB file that had been corrupted (I think power drop at some point in the recording) along with a smaller file that was uncorrupted, had my corrupted file FIXED flawlessly in about 5 minutes. Instructions were clear, super simple, and it saved me a good 3 or 4 hours of tricks and foolishness to edit a video with the last 5 minutes missing.
