We wanted to do something special with Climber Ready and tailor training around the climber rather than boxing them into rigid programs.  We also wanted to keep the class sizes small with either 1, 2 or 4 people, depending on the course being delivered.  This allows for personalised growth and development aligned with the climber's unique strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Our team of London-based coaches brings a wealth of diverse skills and extensive experience. Climber Ready offers a path into climbing through a development pathway from fundamentals to advanced that includes technical movements and strength training.

Really professional and dedicated coach

I had 5 coaching sessions with Nigel. Absolutely loved it. He's very keen, dedicated and methodical in assessing your strengths, weaknesses and identify drills and routes that best suit your progression, on all aspects: physical, technique, mental and endurance. Strongly recommended!

I did a two day introductory course…

I did a two day introductory course with Nigel and loved every minute. Nigel is enthusiastic, knowledgable and motivating. Follow up was prompt and useful. I am inspired to start my climbing journey and would highly recommend this course.

Friendly climbing instructor

I did a lead climbing course and Nigel was friendly, knowledgeable and super enthusiastic about climbing. The commutation before the course was good too, sorting out any issues. I am now looking forward to getting back on the wall.

Outstanding coaching experience

We had an excellent 12 week course with Nigel, covering everything from basic to more advanced technique, and offering all kinds of insights into what it takes to become an accomplished climber. Nigel was professional, patient and thorough throughout, and I'm looking forward to benefitting from his climbing wisdom in future coaching sessions. Highly recommended.

Best climbing coach I could wish for

I've completed a 12-week course with Nigel and can't recommend him and Climb Ready enough.
Nigel has been a very patient coach. Systematic when it came to technique, applied the right level of challenge, and paid a good level of attention to safety. The sessions with him were highly engaging and fun!
I managed to improve my climbing skills significantly.
If you're looking to improve your climbing, Nigel is your man!
