BEWARE: Full Subscription SCAM. I used the service once and despite cancelling the subscription before the billing date, they keep trying to bill to my card. Also the agreed pricing switches to a higher price after the second month. The service works indeed, but you will be unable to cancel the subscription ever. Easier to cancel and reissue your own credit card than dealing with the customer support.

I have been using Clipto AI since 2025, so for almost a year now. At first, I used the free version, and by the end of 2025, I had already found it extremely useful. It worked very well for me: I transcribed many folders, documents, videos, and interviews. In my experience, the transcription quality is very high, especially compared to many other tools. For researchers conducting qualitative research, it can be a truly valuable tool for transcribing interviews. Of course, it is important to remember that the transcript still needs to be checked and sometimes corrected, especially when the original audio recording is not very clear or when the sound quality is poor. However, Clipto AI was so helpful in my work that at the end of 2025, I decided to buy a one-year subscription. I would recommend it especially to researchers who work with qualitative data, as well as to people working in education, including teachers, lecturers, and academic staff. It can also be very useful when you do not have enough time to listen to long podcasts or videos. If you find a podcast, lecture, or YouTube channel valuable, you can paste the YouTube link into Clipto AI, generate a transcript, download it, read it later, and keep the most useful transcripts in your own folder for future reference. Overall, I find Clipto AI a very practical and time-saving tool, particularly for research, education, and working with spoken materials.
ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS
I applied for a free trial and cancelled the subscription shortly after but they keep trying to bill me $9.99 every 5 days. And any attempt to login to my dashboard gets redirected to the pricing plans page.
This is the most illegal and unethical thing that can be done and these thieve must be stopped!

Great product and even better people behind it
I’ve been using Clipto.AI for a bit now and really like how the AI transcriber works and helps me with my study, but I wanted to shout out their support team specifically. I had a situation with my subscription and they were incredibly kind and helped me out when they didn’t necessarily have to especially for a struggling student like me. Truly grateful for Shirley F. and the team. It makes such a difference when a brand actually shows some empathy. Great product and even better people behind it.
Billing without notification - very poor transparency
I realized my subscription had been active and charging for months without me noticing. I had not been using the service at all and did not receive any clear notification about renewals or charges.
No emails, no reminders - just recurring billing.
This kind of lack of communication is not acceptable. Users should be properly informed before being charged again. Be careful and monitor your payments closely.

I used to be a loyal annual subscriber and even recommended this product to many of my friends, but my recent experience has been an absolute nightmare.
I canceled my subscription well before the renewal date, and the interface clearly confirmed that I would not be charged. However, a month later, I was hit with a surprise annual fee of $107.88 USD. I contacted customer support immediately that same day. Despite the fact that I had zero usage of the service, they refused to issue a full refund.
Instead, they tried to pressure me into accepting a one-month plan at an inflated price of $24.99 USD. After sending two generic, scripted "canned" responses, the support team stopped responding altogether!
As a former user who once advocated for this product, I am deeply disappointed. I have already warned all my friends to cancel their subscriptions. If you are considering this service, be aware that you might be hit with hidden fees and find it nearly impossible to leave. Avoid at all costs!

4 months and no resolution - Meeting notes lost with no backup
I pay personally for this service and Clipto's Meeting Notetaker service has experienced the same critical failure twice — 3 important meetings simply not being saved. On both occasions I had full internet access, actively participating in meetings via WhatsApp, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, so connectivity is not the issue.
What makes this worse is the complete lack of support. I have emailed Clipto on seven separate occasions for the second incidence since December 2025:

The response? A generic reply at best about management investigation. No resolution, no explanation, no acknowledgement that their service has a serious reliability problem, and no offer of compensation for a paid service that TWICE failed to deliver.
I have asked basic questions — what backup systems exist when a recording fails? Is there a local desktop capture option? — and received nothing substantive in return.
I am a paying customer who has been ignored for four months. If you are considering subscribing, be aware that when things go wrong, this company does not show up.

Extremely disappointed. I canceled my subscription and my account clearly shows I am on the "Free Tier" with only 3 uses allowed. Despite this, they still charged me £19.24 on 2 April. It is completely unreasonable to charge a customer for a service they have canceled and no longer have access to. I am currently waiting for a refund. Be very careful with your billing details here.

Should you fail to process this request immediately and confirm the complete cessation of the subscription service and all further billing upon receipt of this email, I will be compelled to pursue legal action. Please reply as soon as possible to confirm that the service has been fully stopped.
