After many, many attempts to get a replacement for a wrongfully shipped item, I'm giving up and leave this review. I've been writing to the company since March, but everytime I get a different excuse. They thought they shipped it, there was a miscommunication, it should arrive any minute now... And that's been going on for a few months now. They did ship me items before that, but that already took a long time and there was almost always something wrong with the package. Incomplete, or wrong items. After months of excuses I'm giving up on my replacement. Don't deal with this company is all I can say after my experiences.

I can only explain Colour Vinyl Records is a scam. I placed an order in January 2024 and it is now November 2024 without recieving the items or the refund I have requested.
The contact was originally with Phill with nonsense emails about the order. It has not been passed to Eimear (please look at his obviously fake 5* review on this list) who has stated the items would be 'posted on Monday' to arranging the refund apparently.
It's all a load of rubbish and I have now contacted trading standards.
I am trying to recover the funds from my bank because these guys are a scam. They have also removed their website now.

I really just hope they see this and will provide the refund I have requested months ago.

Made a seconf order for 6 vinyls and got them all at a very good price....

During the process of changing the owner of the shop, the items I had previously ordered were missing and could not be delivered. However, thanks to quick and friendly consultation service, I received a full refund.

DO NOT order from Colour Vinyl Records. Back in July I ordered two records, Prince The Hits 1 & 2, both on white vinyl. A month after ordering I received my parcel from ColourVinyl with just a copy of Prince Hits 1 and a POST-IT note inside saying 'part two sending next week'. I contacted the company after waiting 2 weeks for the second delivery and they promised to send the second but there had been issues getting a copy from their supplier (yet still selling copies on the site). A month later I had to get Shop involved to push them along to get the record. TWO Months later in September (and many e-mails to the company with the owner sounding more and more hassled) I received a second package with another copy of Prince The Hits 1 and not the correct Hits 2. Upon contacting them to complain I received a very short sharp reply from the owner telling me that my complaint to Shop would 'soon be irrelvent as I send you price 2' (customer service shorthand for your delivery is on it's way!) and it is now October and still no despatch notice. I had to get Paypal involved to get a refund and reported to Trading Standards. And now received a very rude and threatening e-mail from their customer service upon PayPal retrieving my refund. So yeah, DO NOT order from Colour Vinyl Records. Total scam and amateurs.

I bought 4 vinyl records from this company in November 2023, and now it's September 2024 – almost a year later – and I haven't yet received my order. I’ve exchanged over 100 emails with them, each time getting a new excuse: they were sick, they had issues with shipments from the US, they promised to ship next week, or they claimed they shipped the order but gave me an empty UPS tracking number. They even promised free vinyls and a refund as compensation, but unsurprisingly, neither arrived.

I spent over €200 on what I believed were "limited edition USA vinyls," but after a year of broken promises and evasions, it's clear this company is a SCAM. They’ve now stopped responding to my emails altogether.

The most concerning part? The person I was communicating with, "Eimear," even left fake positive reviews posing as a satisfied customer named "Paweł from Poland," which is downright deceitful. You can see the reviews are fraudulent if you check the profile details and the location (GB instead of Poland). This kind of behavior only reinforces that this company cannot be trusted.

Sadly, I’m not alone. Many people, including friends from Poland, have had the same experience with this company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE – IT’S A SCAM. I’ll be collecting evidence and pursuing legal action, but it’s important to warn others before they fall victim to this scheme. The names may change (like "Eimear" and "Phil"), but the fraudulent tactics remain the same.

On 25th of May I order one album from colour vinyl records a 2024 Yellow vinyl for Somewhere In Time-Iron Maiden as of today it’s the 8th August and still no album has been delivered, I purchased it through Shopify colourvr sent a ups tracking label out two months ago but nothing was sent, I emailed cvr they said they had to pull a whole lot of records from customers because they were warped, I think maybe this company is the one that’s actually warped. By the end of July I was told in another email that it’s been sent out, last week end of July 2024, then after I asked for tracking number I asked what did they mean by “this week” because now it was August 2024 and I was told end of week 11th. Yesterday I sent an email requesting my full refund, I told them that lost confidence, I was even sent a money off promotion, really? You’ve not even sent my first album to me. I went back to the shopify website it and used their website to report I’ve not received my parcel, I’ve heard nothing from Shopify, what’s going on with these rotten thieving companies? I’m sick of getting taken advantage of, I have Autism Spectrum Disorder, I just want my £49.00 pounds back. The star awarded for colourvinylrecords I don’t even want to give them one star.

Hereby an update on my previous review regarding Phil and his business.

This guy refuses to believe that MY refund towards HIM is on its way. I have bank statements, e-mail conversations with my bank AND VIDEO PROOF to proof all this, but he simply can't wrap his tiny brain around it and demands more proof. What proof is there to give?!

Phil has now gone as far as to threaten me and mentions he "often fly's to my country" and that "stealing his money has consequences."
He obviously has all my personal details due to my purchase so I am on high alert.

The owner of this company is ABSOLUTELY INSANE!! If you EVER even THINK ABOUT doing business with this company.. RUN!!!!

Hello, I have been scammed by the coloredvinylrecords.com page, I have read that there are people who have gotten the money, can you tell me how you got it? through your bank?

Unprofessional and full of lies.
Ordered early February and after numerous emails of tracking down the status of my order and numerous requests to cancel and refund the response was always "ships this Wednesday",for every email like this I would have 10 records by now…So,They ship a package in June and finally hoping I get the record I receive a different one and by that I dont mean a different variant a totally different record.

This is the worst company I have ever ordered from.
I have never left a bad review about a company before.
But my experience with this company has been appalling .
I ordered a record at the beginning of December 2023 after a month I still had not heard from them .I sent an email enquiring about my order and had no reply . Fast forward to MAY 2024 still no record ! They had my money though .I sent over 30 emails , all polite some humorous They did reply to some .If you believed them I would of received at least 5 records !!! I finally had my money back a few days ago .
Their lack of communication and lies were so frustrating . I will never deal with them again . I cannot recommend them at all .

Brought 2 Queen coloured vinyl LPs (Hot Space and Day at the Races). The records turned up in excellent condition and as described. Fast delivery as well. Extremely efficient customer service. Would highly recommend.

I bought vinyl from these guys. It arrived in mint condition, exactly as described in pretty much bullet proof packaging. I cannot recommend these enough.

Don't send money here.. After only just reading other reviews, unfortunately, they tell me my vinyl has been delivered.. I ask them to get proof of delivery as I haven't had it.. Days later, a reply saying "it's not as simple as that"... I mean, what on earth!!!
I then get notification email saying they've cancelled the order and are refunding... They better had refund even though I NEVER told them to, they've presumed I would want that, even though I've said i just want the item more than 4 times as it's for a birthday present
They sent me an email saying I had said 'its too late now as the birthday has gone' (I never said such a thing, I only gave them the birthday date whilst chasing it)
SO I SHORT, UNLESS YOU'RE ACTUALLY VISITING THE STORE FOR YOUR ITEM, "DO NOT" ORDER TO GET A DELIVERY is my opinion.

Items received in great order and delivered all ship shape. Company I have always found to be fantastic. This company does things different to high street shops it has orders then obtains them and then sends them out this can cause delivery delays. But you should appreciate that . The items always arrive and in great condition their customer service is excellent and they really care about you the customer and their reputation I cannot recommend them highly enough. I ordered two vinyl last year. After countless delays and mails the owner finally managed to ship one of my vinyl and included a note which said that my other vinyl would be shipped later when it was in stock. Despite it showing up again on the online store, after countless mails with empty promises (full refund, “ready to ship”) and some sick days from the owner, the vinyl is still nowhere to be seen a year later. I’ll keep stalking the store and owner for the sake of it, but they’ve also stopped replying to all my mails. Conclusion: my money is gone but my vinyl will never arrive.

Overall very unpleasant experience with very poor customer service.
I ordered two vinyls. After more than a month waiting with no delivery updates I emailed to check on the status, my ordered apparently “slipped through the cracks”. After receiving this update I get a notification that one vinyl is on the way. I had to email again to remind them i had ordered two. After almost two months waiting, one of the vinyls that arrived was a regular black version when i ordered a limited edition color. I sent multiple emails to ask about this mistake and i’m told new stock is coming in soon. I never got an update, after several emails, I am told that it was out of stock and cannot get the record, I ask for a refund and wait. Once again I have to send several reminders and eventually I get refunded for the wrong record (and get back less than I originally paid). I had to involve the European Customer Rights directive to get my refund.
After 6 months trying to fix this the owner Phill still emails me asking me about what happened and is too lazy to read the email thread himself so he asks me to summarize it to him again.
This store is a joke, avoid at all costs.

I ordered 3 vinyls, 2 of which arrived 4 months later (after sending 40-50 e-mails begging to ship them). The 3rd vinyl never came, the owner PHIL told me it was out of stock and I could have a refund of this one. Unfortunately he never refunded me and stopped replying to my e-mails. Please, never buy from this website or from his discogs profile, never mind if you find a good price, he is not reliable and can't do his business properly.

To understand how this record store works you have to read their website. If i remember correctly theyre a boutique style record store which means that they dont have the records on hand. They get an order and order the vinyl after the order has been placed. when they get the record they send it to the customer. This means that it might take a while before you get your record. I didn’t read correctly at first and was scared i got scammed but this absolutely wasn’t the case. I received my blue pressings of Starboy in perfect condition and will definitely be placing more orders soon!!! If you see a vinyl you like and dont mind waiting a bit then definitely place an order :))) is

The records came in great, love them. And it’s also important to note that the records that I ordered were us only, so they naturally took a little bit more to arrive, but it has been a really good experience. They even check in with you before shipping so that nothing goes wrong. Will definitely be ordering again.
