Double billed
I have a business with an internet line and another used for Voip (internet-based phones). When they came to hook up the phones, they disconnected our original modem and moved our internet and phone to the same modem. It stayed this way for seven months until we had a problem, and a technician came out to fix another issue. He was the one who found the problem. We had been paying for two internet accounts and were only hooked up to one for 7 months. When we complained, Comcast said it wasn't their fault and wasn't willing to compensate us for 7 months of double billing.
Failed with comcast.net email service
Comcast provides email without an XFINITY account. Having moved from civilization to the country. No Comcast, but was able to retain email services. Getting help is impossible. Trying to explain you don't have XFINITY service but are unable to access email is impossible. The left hand doesn't know there is a right hand. Over an hour to reset an account that buljancok12atgmail.com tried to steal. Such a headache. There is not a direct number to deal with email service.
Terrible customer service!
The worst
I swear that the tenth circle of hell is dealing with Comcast's customer service and work. Three weeks ago, I moved into a brand new garden unit, and I called Comcast four weeks ago to ask them to stop and start services at my new location. Not only did it take forever for them to verify my address for installation, but their phone tree is abysmal, and the customer service representatives sound like they’re reading a script and have trouble understanding simple requests. And once my unit was finally approved for installation, they kept scheduling me for a date/time that neither my roommate nor I would be home, so I had to call and give them a new time. And the worker who came to install my internet was incredibly lazy. He simply drilled a hole in my room to put the coaxial cable, and wrapped the cable along the wall of my room and into the living room. It was just bizarre. If I could give zero stars to this ridiculous excuse of a company I would.
Prices rise and quality declining
20 plus year customer here but have reached my limit.
Prices keep rising and service quality declining.
No longer a monopoly in our area so first chance we get to avoid penalties, it's adios.
Signed up for high-speed internet…
Signed up for high-speed internet service with unlimited data. I work from home and am in Zoom meetings all day. The internet service went out literally every day, sometimes multiple times daily. Sometimes it would reconnect if I restarted my "brand new" Xfinity modem, but the majority of the time I would get a message saying "there is an outage in your area. We are working to get you reconnected". I tried calling multiple times to find out if there was any way to resolve this. I was on hold for over an hour both times and was told simply "there are many customers having issues with their connection, we apologize". I finally cancelled the service and connected with IQ fiber, which has been much more consistent. I was charged a $230 "early termination fee". I was told when cancelling the service that there would not be a termination fee due to the issues with the service. I called twice since receiving the bill with this fee. I was told both times that it would be removed. It still has not been removed (nearly a month later). Today, I was told it could not be removed because it is "company policy" to charge this if it is cancelled early. This is not a "policy" issue. There is a legal contract for services. If the service is not provided as agreed, it is not legal to charge for cancellation. Comcast did not provide the service as sold. DO NOT sign up for their service.

Comcast is a monopoly and provides the absolute worst tv streaming services. Channels will not load and they cost an arm and a leg. Impossible to reach a live agent to get help but they are very quick to accept payments or disconnect services. THE WORST!
This company is malicious.

If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would. The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. DO NOG DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Was transferred to 7 agents, was connected and disconnected to a “senior” agent and “supervisor”. Asked for a callback and never received. I genuinely do not know how you could service your customer this bad and still be in businesses it baffles me.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. It’s impossible to talk to a human and when you do it’s somebody from India you can’t even understand. Their prices are ridiculously high for what you get. No more issues with them, we’re going to streaming services from now on.
They are predators and their pricing is outrageous
Their internet subscribers are leaving in extremely high numbers. Finally, their shark and snark customer practices are cratering their broadband business.
XFINITY Customer Service is aweful
Discovered in February that they were charging me for over a year's worth o unreturned equipment for tv streaming, when all I have is internet. Was told I'd be issued a refund. Here we are in April and not only have they not refunded me, they've continued to charge me.
I then called back April 18th to ask for the refund to be issued and that whole process took 4 hours.... yes FOUR.... QUATRO! Was told that I qualified for a free ipad and told him I didn't want it. He kept insisting and I told him I don't like at my service address and won't even be back till the end of summer. He told me not to worry and proceeded with giving me options for the order. I reiterated that I don't live in the state and that it would have to be shipped where I currently am. He again told me not to worry and persisted in my signing documents online. I did it and he confirmed that equipment would be sent to the same address I just told him I am not at. I told him not even a minute into it to cancel the order and he said it's too late because it's shipped. I was like 'how?' we literally had a few seconds pass, he advised to call fedex, I did and they said only the label had been created and that Xfinity cancel the order. They refused saying that it's left the warehouse, again, this is 1-3 minutes later. They charged me for the ipad's taxes and service fees any way and now I have to wait until they make attempts to deliver via fedex and have fedex return it to them before I can get a refund. Non of these people speak english and they're notoriously trying to upsell you something in the middle of all of your frustration. XFINITY PLEASE BRING YOUR JOBS BACK TO THE US OR GET PEOPLE THAT CAN UNDERSTAND US. IT SHOULD NOT TAKE ME 4 HOURS 'resolve' AN ISSUE AND IT STILL WASNT' RESOLVED.
I'm now back on the phone and non of what I asked for has been done. 4 days of calling and nothing.
This company is the worst rip-off…
This company is the worst rip-off company I have ever dealt with. We have had Xfinity for years and years and never had a late payment. We put our plan on Vacation mode for 6 months, because we are snowbirds. After two months, they say they sent an email claiming they would only put us in Vacation mode for two months. Why? We have been doing this for several years and got a verbal okay that we were on it again. Because we had an autopay, we ended up being charged over $500. We called a explained the situation and told us they would reverse the charges. New bill came with the overcharges. We went into the store, and they would not budge. We returned all our boxes and internet box by our cut off date and still were charged another $70.00. Do not use them they will cheat you which ever way they can.
Awful service
Awful service. Virual assistance: ignorant and not helpful. Phone robot: more ignorant and less useful.
An annoying and time wasting firm. Not worth the money they love.
Their human technician, however, was excellent.
Cancelled business internet but they keep billing me
Cancelled business internet but they keep billing me. While I had the service there were frequent outages and they would constantly hound me to upgrade to different services. It's a terrible company.
