First impressions.
I placed my order directly with Consols partly based on previous positive reviews I had read and a quoted price for delivery within a fixed period.
The delivery wasn’t made on schedule (Friday 14th February) and when I phoned the office to query I was told someone would get back to me with an update. No call came. I phoned again on Monday and Tuesday of the following week to get an update. There was no apology for the delay either of the delivery or that no-one had bothered to contact me to tell me when the delivery would be.
I eventually received the delivery 6 days late. Will think twice next time!

Non delivery
Delivery was due 28th Jan. No apology when not delivered. I telephoned on 29th to be told tanker ran out and it would be delivered on 30th. Person I spoke to was very helpful and arranged an inconvenience payment to be made to me. Oil delivered on 30th, late morning. It would seem that Consol Oils are an outlet for a faceless company upcountry and no longer have any say in what goes on. There should be more communication between company and customer.
