The personal service that Sharon gave was excellent

The personal service that Sharon gave was great. She helped me upload my contacts - this is always troublesome for me. She made onboarding easy - something that MailChimp did NOT do.

Not easy to use

Not easy to use. Other sites provide much easier setup when composing emails.

Mind of it's Own

I will copy and paste parts of a document into a constant contact campaign and I need to go back and fix what I just pasted because everything has changed from the text color, font size, space, font boldness - everything. What is the point of me copying and pasting something if I have to redo it again anyway? Very frustrating.

We apologize for the frustrating experience when copy/pasting into Constant Contact, but there are some design restrictions that prevent actions like that from always being a 1-to-1 replication. This can vary based on the source, based on your email's Design tab default text formatting, and how the text is pasted in. That said, some copied text will just need to be re-formatted upon being pasted into the email editor text blocks.

Excellent Customer Service is why I keep coming back!

Every two years I use CC to communicate with artists for our Art Exhibition and Sale to raise money for our charities. Excellent service and training are the two reasons why I keep coming back to them.

This system is actually easy to use.

The system works well and the online tutorials are really great. I can find things I need and get help to do what I want. I transitioned from another mail service and the transition was seamless and my users did not notice except for the logo on the bottom of the email. I actually have more functionality now than I did in the other service.

Easy to understand how to do it!

I've been a member for many years and will continue with Constant Contact because it's such an easy way to send emails and easy to understand how to do it! Lots of choice and support when needed.

Security issues a major pain in the ass.

Overall the product is fine. However, the security measures are a major pain in the ass. If I sign into my account from a device that I haven't used in a while I waste up to half an hour signing in, providing passwords etc.

Seems that gmail and outlook frequently…

Seems that gmail and outlook frequently block constant contact emails so our subscribers aren't always seeing our emails.

I've used CC for at least 20 years

I've used CC for at least 20 years. The support is always there ready to help. I do wish there were more options for templates but you can make your own. Canva is connected too but I sometimes have a glitch with it. It is easy to navigate and you can use it on your cell phone. There are some small differences but that's life,lol!

Easy to use, brand and reports are great.

I have used constant contact in a few different roles and always found it easy to use, easy to brand, with great reports and controls.
From setting up my monthly newsletters, to sending out a quick note to sections of my lists, its easy and intuitive. Worth every penny for the engagement.

CC has better reach (opening rate) than…

CC has better reach (opening rate) than other platforms such as Mailchimp which I also use. The interface is a bit old fashioned but works well. There should be an easier way to insert an email reply in a newsletter - not having to use the email mailto link generator. I only have 9,000 subscribers but get charged according to the tier for 10-15K subscribers. I would like to downgrade to 'Standard' @ US$ 160/month but this doesn't seem possible. Based in Asia, it's inconvenient having to talk to support in USA time.

Happy 2+ Years

We did research before going with Constant Contact and we have now been using the service for 2+ years and have been very happy with the performance. There have been some positive upgrades and we have no plans to look elsewhere.

Constant Contact makes the old stuff easy and adds a bunch of new

Constant Contact makes it easy to do what a lot of businesses and nonprofits do a lot of: send emails and keep track of them. But they have also just implemented a whole bunch more tools that look really interesting. They, arguably, make Constant Contact into a whole new kind of platform. It still does everything we expect of it, but adds a lot more.
