First they sent me an aggressive letter stating if I don't pay the amount I owe, they will take legal action, without any explanation on who they are and what I owe to (I don't owe any money to anyone). I thought this is high likely spam but paid anyway just in case. Then they sent an SMS message saying I payed too much and have to call them for refund process. I called them and they said I have to give reference number that in the SMS. Guess what, there is no reference number in the SMS. Finally minutes later they realised this is their mistake and decided to send me an email to refund process which they could have just sent at first without SMS, call or any of those. Apparently they are trying everything to get your money hoping at one of these annoying stages you will give up.

The agent I spoke with Amanda (code 548) was extremely helpful and polite. I explained the situation with TNT and disputed the invoices. She passed them back to me (I had not got copies) and enabled me to contact TNT to discuss the situation. The overall experience was excellent (unlike TNT) and not what I was expecting. I would rather never have to deal with debt collection agencies but this was a brilliant experience overall. She reduced stress levels, helped me and provided guidance on what to do and what she could and could not do. Overall she changed my opinion of what a debt collection agency experience would be.

I dealt with Amanda 548 and it was a difficult conversation as the outstanding payment was not notified to us by the original invoicing company (FEDEX). Amanda dealt with it professionally and we came to an amicable arrangement to bring the issue to a conclusion. I do not envy her job but she carried it out very professionally. Its a pity FEDEX wouldn't take some lessons in how to interact with people from people like Amanda
