We had a really good experience with Convey Law throughout our home buying process. Jordan was always responsive to our emails and kept us informed throughout. As first time buyers, we initially found the experience quite daunting and weren't really sure what the process would entail. Jordan really helped to put us at ease and was always willing to answer any questions that we had. Jordan also worked really efficiently and the process of buying our home was a lot less stressful and a lot quicker than we expected it to be. I would highly recommend Convey Law (and Jordan specifically) to anyone looking to purchase a home.

The support we received Aisha was very good and helped us through the remortgage process, she was always available to answer any queries that arose from the online portal and the sharing of our information. Would recommend both Aisha and the firm to our friends and family and would use again as and when required.
Many thanks Paul Haycock

I took me a little while to get my head around this whole online conveyancing thing, but I must say Jordan and his team do a really good job behind the scenes.
I would recommend you keep an eye on the costs, they do escalate quickly, with the overall service costing much the same as any other.
Convey promote their online portal, this is the downside of their service (which you pay a premium for), it is clunky and dated, it basically offers a text record of all emails they send you. It would be far better if there was a dashboard which included a list of documents, their status (Sent, signed returned accepted etc) and ability to download them, a cost tracker would also be beneficial.
If Convey upgraded their portal I would give them a 5-star rating, alas without although the staff are good and well informed I have scored a 3 as the backend of their service is lacking, the only way of tracking progress is if you do it yourself which renders the portal pretty useless

Jodie was very professional and helpful throughout the whole process despite us having some issues with additional fees.

The service provided by Abbie Price, my Conveyancer, and her assistant, Eva Farenden, was excellent. Communication was fast and clear, and the required legal advice and services were provided to a high standard. I am glad I chose Convey Law for my property purchase!

CONvey Law - Avoid! Initially agreed a fixed price for the conveyancing of our sale but then when the final bill arrived (guess what?!) there were nearly £1000 of (required) add ons'! Also not overly impressed with the quality of service (had a difficult chain to coordinate) & lack of communication (had to send an email to book a time to talk to our alloted solicitor! - yes the one who's wages we were paying!). Also found their electronic platform difficult & frustrating to negotiate. Buying & selling your house is a serious & complicated business requiring competence, communication & trust. You pay for what you get guys! Choose wisely.

I wouldn't say great but overall I was kept well informed
Sophie made things very clear for us ,had a bitof a problem with all the online forms but I think it was us not being very technical.

The service provided by Rhian Reynolds my Conveyancer was great, with regular updates on the progress of our house purchase and sale. The Convey Law system for collecting information initially was easy to use.

I resisted leaving this review so that I can leave this behind. I keep receiving the reminders to leave a review so this is my heartfelt review. I am really thankful for the expedited way my file was finished in the end (albeit with extra fee and delayed start and slow process). But I do have few issues as listed below. The additional charges could have been in the quotation itself in which case I wouldn't complain now. My overall rating will be very good if not for additional charges.
1. The portal is good if there is one applicant only, nightmare if two applicants especially both using the same laptop/desktop as user name is the same but the passwords are different for both applicants. The portal works on cookies. So either use a different computers or a different browsers for second applicant. By the way we have to pay the fee for portal.
2. Telephones: Couldn't reach the team members, confusing menu, can only leave the voice messages for them to answer by mails for which I don't have a problem as nowadays every thing is online messaging. I really don't understand reviews left by other customer to say they are prompt answering the calls.
3. Files not received back by them not chased up, the seller repeatedly called to find where the process stalled (the buyer not sure about the signed documents to send and seller's solicitor not received the communication sent by Convey Law), thereby losing initial time and had to expedite the process by paying additional fee.
4. My neighbour process took a month and mine two and half months.
5. Total price completely different from quotation, total bill was higher by good £ 1320.00
6. List of additional charges: Portal fee, Archive fee, Cybercrime fee, Property fraud restriction fee, Bankruptcy fee, expedited exchange fee (as we lost good initial time not chasing up replies), additional legal work, open banking fee, payment of credit commitments fee ( lender's standard terms and condition- all they did was asked me to sign a piece of paper that mentioned I will clear the credits. I checked with mortgage broker who said it was just standard wording), Building insurance check fee (Convey Law mentioned that they have to check if I have the insurance. They haven't even asked if I bought one in the end before charging this fee), new build fee (by the way the quotation requested was for new build transaction), Certificate of compliance ( I really don't understand this- my guess is my solicitor should give me a certificate to the seller to say I comply), transfer of Part TP1, additional legal work with respect to local search TPO fee.

The service provided by Aisha Mohomade my Conveyancer was exceptional. Our mortgage broke was not the best and our original solicitor ceased trading. Aisha has achieved what we had been trying to do for nearly 5 months in a matter of weeks. My partner had the most contact, and each time Aisha was easy to talk to and professional. Communication was 10/10. Our faith is renewed after our bad experience with another. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you so much Aisha
