Update: Luke from Cool Boxes responded promptly and resolved the NI delivery issue. Re-ordered and looking forward to receiving.

Spent some time selecting the right box and accessories, but at payment stage realised that the delivery to NI was charged at £25. Disappointed and annoyed. I order loads from England but never pay more than the standard delivery charge to the UK.

Ordering and delivery was easy, fast and with upto date tracking info.

This is my second Icey Tek box, I previously purchased the 40 litre which is great for my slightly longer camping trips but wanted the 18 litre for day/overnight trips or for additional capacity on longer trips.

They are great boxes when I return from 4-5 day trips there is still plenty of ice in my 40 litre, I’ve not yet had the opportunity to use the 18 litre.

I bought two Icey Tek cool boxes a couple of months ago and wanted to give them a good trial period before leaving an honest review.

If you’re wondering whether to invest, be reassured that these cool boxes are exceptional quality, robust and do the job they are designed to do.

I have the 18 litre box, and the 25 litre box. I primarily use them for fishing trips. I also use the Icey Tek gel freezer packs.

I’ve found that pre-cooling the cool boxes for 12-24 hours prior to your intended trip using either gel packs or frozen water bottles really does make a considerable difference to the overall duration that you can then keep items cool for inside the box. I took the 25 litre box on a fishing trip during a really warm spell in August and at the end of the three days the gel packs were still mainly frozen and my remaining food was perfectly cool.

I use the 18 litre cool box for shorter solo trips and the 25 litre for longer trips/trips with friends.

Customer service and communication was excellent when I queried the estimated delivery date.

To summarise - invest in Icey Tek, there is no better in my opinion.

This is my second order with Cool Boxes UK, I bought a 35 litre wheeled cooler and now a 18 litre cube. They're brilliant, following the advice of pre-cooling with frozen bottles of milk (I usually do thus for a few days before using) makes them work well very. The 35l cooler with 4 small gel packs will keep milk bread and cheese cool for at 4 days, I could've added loose ice to increase this. After getting the wheeled cooler, I fancied a smaller weekend away one, big enough for a big bottle of milk and some snacks. It's a great size too. I am a convert, now seeing my older coolers as incredibly inefficient in comparison to Icey Tek!

Really chuffed with this ice box, we wanted one for camping which did not use power and kept things cold for ages; this really does work well… and from receipt of order to despatch literally took 8 minutes, fantastic service thank you!

Very speedy delivery for an item of its size. I’ve been away fishing for 3days so far & ice packs still frozen & food still very fresh. Will change ice packs tomorrow to keep everything fresh for the next few days.

Cool box arrived just in time for our trip to France plenty of space for all our essentials and it did keep everything cold for a good four days probably would have lasted longer if the weather hadn’t been so hot and sunny will make a great difference keeping items cool on all our future trips

Cool Boxes UK really looked after us, ensuring we received this item before we had to go on our annual camping trip this summer.

Pre chilled the box overnight with frozen milk canisters. Loaded it up with frozen and chilled food/drink. Still had frozen food 3-4 days later even in a hot tent.

Outstanding cool box. Can’t wait to use it again!
