NO Customer Service. I have tried many times to chase my order, money taken from my account but not received. I am in the UK. Do not order from this company, I wish I’d read Trustpilot first, I’m now £268 out of pocket
Disgraceful
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Ordered two months ago (from the UK) - I haven't received the goods although they have taken my money. If you email customer services you get no reply. If you telephone them you get an apology but no action - they can't even give you an update on the whereabouts of you order. Ive asked for a refund... but nobody has responded. Had to give one star, but had it been possible, would have given them minus as many stars as I can count.

I order a shirt on 3/22/26...23 days ago. My credit card was charged $63.86. I do not have my shirt. The UPS website says that my delivery is "Delayed". I left an email on the Coolibar website. No response. I called Customer Service and got the message that everyone was in a staff meeting. I'm calling again now and have been listening to music for 11 minutes 43 seconds. I just want my money back at this point.

Quality product, disastrous customer service — order through Amazon instead
Coolibar clothing is genuinely good — well-made, effective sun protection, and I've been a loyal customer for a few years. That's the only reason this isn't one star.
However, after this experience I will not order directly from Coolibar again.
My order was incorrectly charged $16.27 in sales tax on clothing. Clothing is exempt from sales tax in Minnesota under state law — for all consumers, not just nonprofits or tax-exempt organizations. This is not obscure; it is standard Minnesota tax law.
What followed was 12 days of emails, repeated deflections claiming I needed nonprofit status to qualify for exemption (incorrect), an 8-day initial response lag, a broken customer service web form, and ultimately having to cite the specific Minnesota statute to get any action at all. Most customers would have given up. That appears to be the business model.
When a partial refund was finally issued, Coolibar refunded only the state tax portion and refused to refund the local taxes — also legally incorrect, as local option taxes in Minnesota follow the same clothing exemption. They refused to correct this even after it was explained to them, in writing, with the applicable law.
I am filing a complaint with the Minnesota Department of Revenue. Minnesota customers should be aware they may be affected by the same issue.
Update: The remaining balance was refunded only after I gave their internal customer satisfaction survey a one-star rating and stated my intent to file a DOR complaint. It should not take that to get a legally correct outcome on a straightforward transaction.
Amazon carries Coolibar products, offers free returns, and calculates tax correctly. Shop there instead.

I like many of Coolibar's products - they protect, they last a long time. However, your review is asking for my experiences with ordering and returning.
1) Return policy is not created for the customer. When sizing is not even, returns are necessary

Ordered during sale 4 weeks ago and am being told they have a new warehouse and processing system, and I will need to wait at least another 2 weeks due to delays. I have ordered from them for years and the only option I have is to wait or get a full refund. No credit, not honoring sale prices. Unless you want to wait until summer is over, or after your vacation, buyer beware. Awful customer service.

What I love about this company/product. It's always well made. Packed with care, tissue paper folder nicely. Not like it was an afterthought and just stuffed in a mailer. Each piece is on a separate bag.

Awful service
I bought a shirt and paid for express shipping 15 days ago and received this answer when followed up on shipping (has not been shipped, but they took the money of course) : « To be direct about your order status: the transition to our new warehouse has caused a significant backlog in our fulfillment queue.
Even though you selected express shipping, the order is still being processed at the facility and has not yet been handed over to the carrier. Because of this volume, I do not have a specific ETA for delivery at this time. »
This is ridiculous, they should not take orders that they are unable to fulfil. At this point might just get my credit card company to proceed to retro billing.

I purchased the return insurance because the customer reviews were mixed about sizing. Turns out the pants did NOT run small and were too big. So, I am returning them. The problem is the return instructions state to drop off the package at "UPS Mail Innovations". That company may handle Cooibar's shipping, but they apparently have no locations where consumers can drop off packages. Today I sent an email to Coolibar Customer Care asking where to drop off the return package. I hope they respond before the return period expires.
