Well, I just came back from Costco looked at my bill. they were selling Purex laundry detergent for 14.99 markdown from whatever the price was I get home to My bill is 21.99-4.50 due to math that 17.50 you get online the Purex laundry detergent is 19.99-4.50 which is 15.50 then apparently they charge you a three dollar surcharge so I just wanna know where the math adds up. I always knew this place was a rip off even though I have a membership which I contemplate every day not renewing Because I honestly don’t think it’s worth it and I know that they rip people off. called customer service she transferred me to another number that I got a voicemail for and then they hung up the phone. Prices are not cheaper then if you spent someplace else. Food prices continue to rise and in some cases is $2-3 at one shot. The quality of items isn't always great, I end up taking a lot of items back. The price of membership is going up - Costco makes Billions of dollars in their membership cards so why the greed? And why are they tracking people, don't believe them when they say it's just to make sure the right person is using the card because the person at the till makes sure if this. What are they hiding in a city that has tracking cameras everywhere? Take your money elsewhere until they treat customers not like criminals and lower food prices once again

We bought new cell phones from Costco Niagara Falls ON, And want to Thank and give SAGAR the cell phone expert a big applause! He was amazing, patiently walked us through step by step and then also called us 3 times to ensure all was working and we were comfortable using phones. I feel it is pathetic that Costco is increasing membership fees. As if they need more revenue from membership fees. They have phenomenal buying power, yet they do not offer members very good prices on groceries. Their produce and meat prices are on par or cost more than some of the other large grocery outlets. They have such a hugh membership, yet feel they still need more from their members!

On the 5th of July 2024 my wife and I went shopping at the Costco store on 55 New Huntington rd ,there was this particular item we couldn't find on the shelves, well we bumped into an employee by the name Peter he went to search for the item for us ,

Costco Orilla
Costco Orilla, Ontario stopped in on a Sunday afternoon but so busy. Went to bakery to ask a question about cake decorating and witnessed young male staff smashing (I mean smashing ) trays of cake on a table about 1 foot from some poor employees head. She tried to address me politely when the obnoxious male employee behind her jumped in yelling without an attempt to move closer so we could have communicated better. The lady he was smashing trays beside was picking up the cakes he dropped on her. She looked like she was on verge of tears. I hope this is not a manager because the customer service will suffer. But more upsetting is treating people or fellow co workers with no respect. I don’t know their stories but I do know that treating customers and other workers like that is never good for business. I walked away.
I purchased an LG over the stove…
I purchased an LG over the stove microwave on Nov. 27.2023, received it and had to return it in December because the display was so dim, I could not read it. I received a replacement which again I installed at my own cost December 15,2023 and in May of 2024, the door was one connecting so I had to hold it closed to cook anything. The light remained on as the door did not close properly. I replaced the microwave with another brand and took the LG back to Costco and they told me they wouldn't take it back as the warranty was over which it was not as I bpought extended warranty and told me I had to call the Customer Concierge number which I did but they hung up on me. So I'm not impressed. The concierge does nothing for you and I was hung up on before today as well. Waste of my time!

It is sad that A military veteran who served 35 years serving his country would be accused of stealing a bag of peanuts. After we unloaded our cart into our vehicle he noticed that 1 item was missing which was not in the cart so he went to inquire about it and was told he was lying made him feel terrible being accused of stealing so he offered to return all the items he just purchased after waiting and waiting he told the manger to come out to his car search it as he would unload everything and return all the items he had purchased. We spend about 8000 or more a year in that store. It Was the 50 Street Costco such sad service.
A great place to shop
Costco Canada has proven to be a great shopping experience. We love the prices, quality, selection, convenience, parking, and most especially the return policy.

From Painful to pleasant . Went to Costco to pick up contact…
Went to Costco to pick up contact lenses but had a problem with my eye. I believed a contact from the previous morning had somehow remained in my eye. A gentleman named Frank proceeded to check for me. At first he seen irritation but no contact .. he checked again and a third time without the contact appearing. To his credit and to my relief , he inserted a dye and was able to see a tiny portion of the lens in the deep corner of my eye. I was extremely grateful for his diligence . Thank you Frank and thank you Costco , my eye is feeling much better .
Costco is awful!
The fact is Costco is a huge retailer and does not care about customers. Awful customer service and staffs! They have to know from where they are paid! All of them are rude, bossy and not helpful!

Awful experience with oven order
Ordered an oven on Costco.ca. it arrived damaged the first time a month after ordering, the whole top end was crushed. Rescheduled a new unit, item arrived with a huge dent in the side another month afterwards.
After the second time I called customer service to complain and ask what they do to investigate these issues to prevent them and what type of inspection they do before hand. Didn't get any sort of response to that.
I was told this happens often and isn't unusual which I tried to point out is an issue. The rep just told me 2 returns wasn't even bad, they had another guy currently waiting on his 6th fridge!!!
Needless to say canceled the order after that. Clearly they have no consideration for their customers.

Vert rude and bad customer service .. unrespectful .. even the chef was so bad and doesnt respect his words. I have been stolen and it has been 15 days and none contcat me... theyve just asked me to wait another 10 days .. the amount was huge and the customer services they have do not care of your situation
Costco.ca online is terrible
Costco online is terrible, put an item in the cart at $891, go to checkout it shows $991. They bump the price $100 for no reason. Another time I put two items in the cart, shows $50 rebate and at checkout the rebate disappeared. I thought Costco could be trusted but apparently not. Do not shop on Costco.ca. Terrible experiences.
Big name with poor customer service
I had to interact with customer service in store and online a few times and every time it was not a great experience. First I had to return a purchase at the local Costco store. The lady behind the counter first gave me a speech and ensured to make me realize that I was doing something terrible by returning the item. She did it so well that I started feeling embarrassed and at one point I thought that I should keep the the stuff. She took it back somehow. Another two times when called customer service over the phone, they literally make fun of you. They always seem to be in a rush, they reply to you without listening to your question completely. Big company with very poor customer service.

Decided to get a membership. After going through all the hassle and photo-taking, I discovered that the card they gave me had someone else's name on it. That means that another has a card with my name on it. Talking about identity theft! Went back. No apologies, just got another card. There are no bargains there to be had and when you shop around you can find better deals on pretty near everything. Their electronics pricing is so high that it is just a joke. When my card expires next month, I will not renew.

Worse customer service ever
I had a membership years ago and only one time I returned something I bought the day before and I changed my mind, I didn’t even opened and the customer service them gave me so hard time, I told her I didn’t even opened it was for a present, it was all sealed but she opened and opened everything thing inside and then called another person like I was lying and the other told her return it it seems all seal and new. That was a horrible experience. As soon the membership ended I never renovated again like at least for about 10 years or more. In January I decided to give them a try again, and again the customer service and supervisor for returns in the Heartland store did nothing to help me. I tried to exchange some clothes I bought online and I used a coupon from I got the membership and they tried discounted the coupon, I told them I just want to exchange those things because they were too large and they said sorry the coupon is for one time use only and we can’t do anything. I insisted I just wanted to exchanged for the right size so why I will lose almost $30. I asked them to give me a giftcard for the difference and not even the manager wanted to help me. That is a really a good customer service? That it is for me the worse customer service ever, I have never experience so bad customer service in no place. Them the suggested me to call Costco.ca. Did someone have tried ever to call them. That is the worse nightmare ever, it is a recorder after recorder, more recorder and more and more and more it is imposible to talk to them
