Very helpfull
The only thing is things take a few days for transactions to go through

This used to have the small customer focussed approach and its major apeal .......
now any contact immediately gets you are in a que responce time 45 mins.
Not the way to keep cusomers happy .....and stop saying if its easier visit your branch .....we would bu you closed them all remember ..... Time it was bought out

Coventry building society never cease to amaze me
Here we are again I have a fixed bond mature 31/8/26 I completed my maturity options on line received the confirmation letter dated 4/8/26 I checked all details and found them correct
I check my accounts this morning to find the monies re invested in another fixed account until December 27
I suggest everyone who has had a maturing ACC to check to make sure monies have gone to the correct accounts
I hope the Coventry reach out to me
Once again shocking service from outdated systems
Updated provided information as requested I don't know why I supplied it as no one has contacted me
I did eventually get the monies to the account I nominated after a long wait for call to be answered and a less than helpful and an unknowledgeable operator
2 days later and despite providing contact details no one has bothered to contact me

Awful - spent days/weeks going back and forth with them trying to set up my daughters ISA with her trust fund money of a few thousand and then they wrote to me weeks after to say the account could not be opened after all as it was not passed the offer date! I tried opening it well before this and it’s their incompetence that led to the delay! In the process of closing my son’s account with them due to this. I’d advise go with the more well known banks/building societies as I can’t imagine them messing around like this.

We needed to withdraw some cash from our ISA account for the first time & thought the whole experience was very easy to understand.

Online banking app easy to use but do prefer the personal response when visiting a branch and find the colleague's really helpful.

I tend to use only the website pages for transactions and statement pages. This is user-friendly and will undertake all the functions that I generally need. All the information is presented in a customer-friendly manner and is clearly set out. It's quite refreshing to use!

First and foremost I like that they function more ethically. On top of that, their interest rates were better than many others.

I have saved with Coventry for many years. They always offer competitive interest rates and their website is simple and easy to follow. They are customer friendly and are to be recommended.

Stuck in paper world, applied to open and transfer my ISA to Coventry online in mid August filled in everything online including the details of the ISA I wanted to transfer to them. 10 Days later I get a letter asking me to fill in a load of paper forms with the same information I filled in online and telling me to send a “cheque” for the opening balance !!!!!!
I had to ring up and ask why I have to do all this when everything was filled in online and how can I send a Cheque when I requested a transfer from my old ISA - the guy was very helpful and did not know why this had happened and he just opened the account on the phone within minutes as everything had already been done online. It does not fill me with confidence and I am now worried if the transfer will be ok.

I had a query I could not solve on the internet, and had telephone call with a super professional, very pleasant man called Ashish (sp?). He was able to answer all my questions and action the move I wanted to make. I've always found the CBS staff to be helpful and easy to deal with. (and considering it's a Saturday, my call was answered surprisingly quickly!). They also have regular loyalty deals.

I have had a long association with Coventry Building Society. Many years ago, i held a mortgage with them, i now save with them. I have found them to be a friendly organisation, approachable and honest. The online systems are easy to navigate and use, which is ideal for me as i am not particularly good with modern technology. So based on my experiences i would recommend Coventry Building Society.

I registered online but was unsure if my transfer was applied and called your contact number and one of your staff was able to guide me through the process to get the account up and running.

I have telephoned Coventry BS on a couple of occasions and whoever I spoke to was extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. Moreover they understood what I wanted and answered my questions without hesitation, and their product knowledge was impressive. Thank you so much, it makes such a pleasant change to talk to a real person nowadays instead of a computer generated chatbot! Congratulations on your excellent customer service.

Great Building Society that has closed my local branch so no longer convenient and I’ll leave them

CBS were offering the highest ISA rate so I signed up. It was easy to join online, the instructions were clear and it took no time to set up. When my ISA Matured from Virgin Money the transfer was easy to do and was in the account within 24 hours. I have nothing negative to say.

When either phoning or visiting branch, I am always greeted with very helpful staff. Nice to have a branch to be able to speak face to face with staff.

I found the process of registering for online services confusing and bureaucratic. I understand the need for security and scammers are very clever these days, but when you consider one has to remember security codes, activation codes, user names , passwords, memorable names and account numbers. then there are some issues here for the older generation. I am used to using a computer and interpreting and storing information but it has taken me over a month to complete the task of registering for online services. The letters asking me to the date of the letter but complete the process state that I have 10 days from the date on the letter but the letter arrives after the 10 day deadline and therefore becomes invalid. I understand you have no influence over the postal service but the process needs to be much simpler. However having now registering successfully I am grateful for the last person to take me through the process as she was very patient and understanding and previously was ready to give up.
