ITEM ARRIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION BUT STILL NO RESOLUTION.
Very poor customer service and a very disappointing experience. I received my oil in a damaged condition. I contacted the seller immediately, but instead of providing a proper resolution, they kept asking me for pictures of the label, packaging and other things.
The oil was hazardous, so I safely disposed of it because I did not want to keep a damaged hazardous product at home. Now they are asking me to provide pictures of the label and packaging. How am I supposed to provide those after the item has already been safely disposed of?
I expected the seller to understand the situation and provide a reasonable resolution, but unfortunately they have not helped me properly. Very poor customer service and I would not recommend this seller based on my experience.

This customer reported that an oil order arrived damaged and confirmed that the item had already been disposed of before contacting us, meaning it was never available for collection or inspection. We asked for photographs showing the product label, batch code, and the item in its original Cox Motor Parts packaging, which is the minimum information any retailer needs to verify a damage claim and process a carrier claim. This is standard practice, not an unreasonable barrier, and it was requested at the very first point of contact, not as a delaying tactic.
The photographs we did receive did not show the product label or batch code, and the packaging shown was not packaging used by Cox Motor Parts. Every oil order we despatch is double bagged inside the outer box specifically to contain any leak, which was not reflected in the images provided. We have offered, and continue to offer, to reopen this claim immediately if photographs of the label, batch code, or original packaging can be supplied.
We take every damage report seriously and resolve the great majority of them within a day once the customer provides basic verification. We are not able to issue refunds without some evidence connecting the claim to the order in question, as that requirement protects our ability to keep prices fair for all customers. We remain willing to resolve this matter directly and would welcome the opportunity to do so.
