What a load of incompetent imbeciles

What a load of incompetent imbeciles! On behalf of GroupNexus at Cannon Lane Retail Park in Tonbridge. Another parking ticket claiming I parked there for 17 hours. They are not checking their cameras properly to see that they are two separate journeys. Who parks there for 17 hours!!! This is getting ridiculous. Have appealed obviously. Please check your cameras !’

CP PLUS CAR-PARKING CHARGES AT RUSSELS HALL HOSPITAL

CP PLUS Parking charge at russels Hall hospital how can this be legal. my wife was took seriously ill and the ambulance quoted 4 hours. Both myself and wife are disabled. On arrival at the hospital, there was no where to park close enough due to maintenance work on the car park itself and the lack of spaces available for disabled, after parking at the drop off point we were unable to get a wheel chair for my wife it took an hour to get her to emergency which was also blocked due to work being carried out by contractor s by the time we got her to a doctor it was some time and I could really say I gave the car a thought as my wife came first. Once I managed to get her seen I proceeded to go and move the car obviously showing my disability card. After appealing to the CP PLUS and explaining. They have chose to not take into consideration the emergency I had to deal with and said I have to pay for over stay. The thing is they are over stating the time as I moved the car twice off site and this was not shown. This really is shocking and I don’t think it is legal.

A deeply frustrating and exploitative…

A deeply frustrating and exploitative experience

1. Their PCN payment system is misleading. Even if you've already paid, the link remains active and allows further payments—without confirming whether your initial payment was successful.

2. The appeals process is a sham. You can email them, but it feels like shouting into the void. Responses are generic, templated, and always circle back to signage. POPLA isn't any better—don’t waste your time appealing there either.

3. They appear to deliberately mismanage hospital car parks to maximise revenue from PCNs, targeting vulnerable staff and patients who are often under immense stress.

Taken together, these practices feel borderline FRAUDULENT. So why do hospitals continue to contract them? I genuinely can't understand it.

Penalty parking appeal - inadequate response

I parked at RSH (in Hummingbird car park) at 11am on Sun 12 Oct to pick up my wife from the Treatment Centre, who was to be discharged after her major op.
I went to collect my car at 12.10 to drive to the pick up point in front of the Treatment Centre, stopping on the way to pay the parking fee. The machine stated "No fee to pay" - I assumed it was not working properly so tried another machine in the Treatment Centre but got the same response. I helped my wife into the car and left for home.
Last week I received a Penalty parking notice from CP Plus-Nexus. I replied, stating the above, but they rejected the appeal, with no explanation of why the Parking machines would have responded that way.
I'm really disappointed (but not surprised) at this company's response.

This was emailed to CP Plus (Nexus)

This was emailed to CP Plus (Nexus), along with a second email showing authority for myself to deal with this. Apparently CP Plus sent a rejection letter on 2/9 which we never received. We have tried numerous times to contact CP Plus to no avail. They have now sent a debt collection letter for £170 to an 80 year old disabled pensioner who is poorly. Absolutely disgraceful. I have emailed the CEO today, we shall wait and see.

I would like to appeal the above charge on behalf of Mr. C. O’Connor, registered owner/driver of the vehicle.

Mr. O’Connor is a disabled 80 year old gentleman, and on the day in question he placed his disabled badge (see attached) on the dashboard, which unfortunately fell off.

Mr. O’Connor made contact with the enforcement officer in the carpark explaining what had happened and showed his badge. The enforcement officer said he would remove the charge. Despite this, Mr. O’Connor has received a fine.

Could you please advise.

Many thanks,

Jan
