Multiple intentional traps for users. Free trial turned into an immediate charge of full year subscription without clear consent. Deliberately convoluted cancellation process. Was told via email that I could receive a refund then provided a link to do so which didn't work. This link had another deliberate trap which contained 2 buttons, one ("Refund") just looped back to the login page. The other ("Cancel") I didn't click as this was obviously the one the merchant wanted me to click, and noted in small print that my account would remain active and the subscription fee would still be charged. Avoid this company at all costs

I signed up for a 30‑day free trial on April 14, 2026. The button literally said “Activate free trial (€0.00)”. Instead of giving me the trial I was promised, the company charged me for a full annual subscription at the the same minute where my account was created and where I signed up for the free trial, without any confirmation or warning. I signed up for a 30‑day free trial on April 14, 2026. The button clearly said “Activate free trial (€0.00)”. What happened next is unbelievable:
My account was created at 23:40
The free trial was activated at 23:40:36
And the full annual subscription was charged at 23:40:49 — just 13 seconds after my trial was started?
There was no second confirmation, no warning, no “Are you sure?”, nothing. The system charged me instantly, at the same timestamp as the trial activation. This is not a misunderstanding. This is a technical or procedural failure on their side, and it is absolutely not something a customer can trigger manually.
I contacted support immediately. Their “help” consisted of one short reply telling me to deal with it through PayPal. No explanation, no solution, no responsibility. They didnt respond at all anymore since my last contact on 14.04.2026
I tried to resolve this directly and politely, but they made it impossible. If a company charges customers during a free trial, refuses to assist, that says everything about how they operate.
This experience was misleading, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. My only hope now is to get help over my bank in the next days.

I contacted your support on April 14, provided all evidence, and have been ignored ever since. On Instagram I was told to “follow up with support”, even though support has not responded for over a week. This is not customer service — it’s avoidance.
My invoice shows a €0.00 free trial, yet I was charged €55.93 in the same minute. That directly contradicts your own trial terms.
Instead of acknowledging the issue, you repeat the same scripted explanation everywhere — Instagram, email, and now here — while refusing to address the actual timestamps and evidence.

Lack of transparency in their billing system
I had the same experience many others are reporting. I signed up for what was clearly presented as a free trial, but I was charged immediately.
From my experience, it feels like a forced subscription setup from the start. The only way to protect yourself from an unwanted automatic renewal is to cancel immediately but doing so effectively cuts off access to what you were just charged for. So you’re stuck between losing access or risking another automatic charge.
I tried to get a refund, but it was not accepted.
Following advice from other users, I went ahead and filed a complaint with Stripe and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I also requested a chargeback through my bank, which is currently under review.
Be extremely careful before entering payment details. The billing process is not transparent, and once you’re in, getting out without losing access or money be complicated.

I love this site.
I love Creative Fabrica for everything it offers. I have used them for over 3 years now and I have no complaints whatsoever. I have only had to contact customer service maybe twice in that time. I am trying to put together a recipe box design I bought and had a couple of pieces I couldn’t figure out by looking at the pictures where they went. So I contacted them and they contacted the designer and got the information back to me within a few days. They contacted me right away for their part but they had to wait for the designer before they could give me any answers or I think they would have told me right away in their initial reply email. Only contacting them so few times in 3 years just shows you how well this site is ran. I have other subscriptions for different things here and there and I have always had to contact someone on those within a few weeks for something trivial. So with all this site offers and their customer service I wish I could give them 10 stars.
Scammers!!
After subscribing to a one-month free trial, I created a video using the AI tool. When I clicked to make changes, the system automatically started generating a second video without any warning. They charged me without asking or warning me that they were doing so, claiming I didn’t have enough “coins,” and ended up billing me for a full one-year subscription.
I have sent dozens of emails, but responses are extremely slow—if I’m lucky, I receive one reply per day.
I will be reporting this issue to the relevant authorities, as this is not a transparent or fair way to provide a service to customers. I am extremely disappointed.

Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Signed up for the free trial and the same day a year subscription of £70+ had been taken. No warning just taken. There is no clear option to unsubscribe either will just take you back to the free trial page which I am no way clicking again. I get a bot email back saying I've not stuck to the t&Cs so can't receive refund or delete my account. Total scammers stay well away from this company. I've had to escalate this with my bank and they have reported the company to officials so hopefully no one else will fall for this

Wow, talk about DARK PATTERNS. Signing up for a free trial will almost certainly end up with you paying for an entire year, no matter what you do. Don't make the mistake of believing their 'risk free' 7 day trial. The whole interface and UI is designed to suck you in, sign you up and make it almost impossible to leave. Customer service just try and explain it away "it's in the terms and conditions" - right, I mean maybe redesign your UI so it's clear what's actually happening rather than relying on small print.
*Update after reply from Creative Fabrica - yes exactly - they've just acknowledged everything that I said in my review. I'm still waiting for a direct reply to my email. Note they like to make sure TrustPilot is responded to first. Also, please check basically every other review on here. Even the ones giving 4 and 5 stars all had problems with the free trial turning into a charged subscription.
There's no point thanking me for the feedback on the UI if nothing is ever done about it.

Refund Request and Cancellation of AI Studio Subscription
I am disappointed with my recent experience with Creative Fabrica regarding the AI Studio subscription.
I was charged $47 for an AI Studio subscription through my PayPal account. The payment was made without my knowledge after a family member used my computer and accidentally completed the purchase.
I contacted support immediately and provided payment proof and account details, but I continue receiving the same response asking for information I have already shared.
I am only trying to cancel the AI Studio subscription and request a refund for a charge I did not intend to keep. The lack of progress and repeated automated replies have been frustrating.
I hope Creative Fabrica reviews my case carefully and contacts me directly so this issue can be resolved fairly and quickly.

SCAMMERS. Do not try the ‘free trial’ as they will charge your card for a whole year immediately. I cancelled and requested refund straightaway but they’re refusing refund. Trading standards contacted and PayPal case opened. Just to add if you search you can find the exact wording to get a refund, keep replying until you get what you are owed! Absolute scammers.

Free trail that got charged anwyay!
I started a 30-day free trial, but I got charged for it. It seems that instead of activating the free trial, it charged me for a paid subscription. The very same day, within a few hours, I noticed this charge and asked them to cancel it and issue a refund. Nothing yet though!
To check what may have happened, I followed the exact same steps, and this time it set up a free trial, and it worked on the same email and account. Why would you give a free trial and a paid subscription on the same account? Seems very odd.
I have finally managed to cancel the subscription after many emails to them. But yet to see a refund.
