Misleading advertising
Misleading advertising; paid $65 for products then was sent more products unsolicited. Took multiple calls holding on etc to cancel then e mail saying I owe 185.00°
I did not realize if was a subscription…
I did not realize if was a subscription and immediately cancelled. Payed for the first order then was guaranteed when the 2nd order was returned I'd be fully reimbursed after multiple phone conversations and emails. I was not fully reimbursed the $91.00 as promised but it was $76.00. It's not worth wasting any more time on and I suspect they know that. This is a total scam and I would steer clear of this company.
BUYER BEWARE
Like many others, I returned the product, received a refund, was assured by customer service on 7/10/25 that all subscriptions were canceled, I would not receive any other orders, or be charged again.
On 7/17/25, I woke up to an email notification that my order would be shipping and was charged $112.81. I do not recommend the product or the company. This has been a hassle and dishonest business practice.
Highway Robbery!!
I purchased a beginers box. They made that withdrawal from my bank, then immediately made a withdrawal for $115.64. I called and cancelled the subscription account. Sent back the box, paid for shipping myself. Exactly a month later they withdrew another $115.64. I have since called 3x to cancel and for refunds. Now they just take the money and dont bother sending product. When I talk to them, they say that the account is cancelled and I'll get a refund. Then turn around charge me again. Refunds never happen. I had to close my bank account and reopen another.
SCAM
SCAM. They automatically put you into a subscription model so that they can keep charging you. The product does not work and is not worth the money. Customer service to stop the subscription was awful and time I will never get back.
Reminds me of the time share I got…
Reminds me of the time share I got conned into... For years I've seen the ads but figured it was too good to be true so resisted the temptation to check it out. For some reason in June, I decided to give it a try. After all, Jane Seymour has been using it for years and looks great, right? I went online and thought I was just ordering the body lotion and neck cream. My card was charged $108. It arrived soon after. I was surprised to find a box with a bunch of product I didn't want, but ok, I guess it's their promotional order. Then in June a box arrived with basically the same supply, which I didn't order nor did I want. Oh well, I'm busy so no time to deal with it. Last night I saw another charge for $131 and I was p****d. Went to the website and could not find a way for me to even check my account. Used the chat and explained my situation. Come to find out I will be charged $131 again in July for a grand total of $508. The associate kept offering to just send what I really wanted and lowered the price. I said no and she then offered to take another 20% off. I said no thank you. I just want to cancel as I guess I didn't read OR SEE the fine print. Very deceptive. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review, and I hope it's my last. I too wish I had checked reviews first. DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO BUYING THIS PRODUCT. It's no better than any other lotions or creams I have used. I have my doubts that this cancellation will really go through. I guess I'm stuck through July, but that better be it.
BE AWARE
BE AWARE that you don't agree to monthly product purchases. I purchased this product once and (without knowing) was charged again the next month. I did not see nor check anything that indicated I wanted a monthly supply. So that is my warning to you. I have not used the product enough to say anything further.
They offer a trial Bat a low cost but…
They offer a trial at a low cost but never say that you are signing up to receive shipments at full price a month later. You are signing up for a membership if you buy a trial package. That is in the very fine print. You then have to return the unordered package at your cost to get a refund minus postage. Buyer beware
Not an honest company
Not an honest company - They don't tell you that they automatically sigh you up for auto renewal!! You just see money taken out of your account. They give you the run around for a return, and keep charging you. You have to send them the tracking number so they can check it because I guess they think we are not honest. I say fix your issue when you receive a return!!!
Crépe Erase/The Body Firm is a scam
Crépe Erase/The Body Firm is a scam! I wish I had checked online reviews BEFORE going with their trial size option of $59.95. Their business model appears to be one where they WILL sign you up for a subscription, despite your selection of a ONE-TIME PURCHASE. Going online to check your profile is "unavailable", as is talking to a supervisor, or getting a cancellation number. Everything is 'Send us back the products we sent you (unsolicited), and we'll send you a confirmation email in the future'. This company CANNOT BE TRUSTED! They are liars and will hold your credit/debit card hostage.
Company auto enrolls customers in subscription without your knowledge
I ordered the Mother’s Day sale of Age-Defying Body & Face Kit from The Body Firm/Crepe Erase. My emailed receipt gave an order number but never informed me I was enrolled in auto shipments. I didn’t know I was auto enrolled until the next month when I received more products and charged a higher price. The guy in Customer Service tried to stall my cancellation and then said I had to send back the last shipment. I told him I would gladly do so with a prepaid shipping label…why should I have to pay to ship back something I never ordered, never got an email about, and never got any shipping information. He refused.
While arguing with him about that, my emailed receipt gave came through that my subscription was cancelled but that I still owed the company $186. I told him that I would not be paying that. He put me on hold for a few minutes and came back and said I owed nothing further, I would be refunded for the second shipment, and I did not have to send it back. I asked for a confirmation email. He said it would come in 24 hours…it never came.
I am disputing the charge and any further charges The Body Firm/Crepe Erase tries to make to my credit card. I have also filed complaints about this company to the BBB and the FTC.
Not worth itThe lotion set was nice but a little…
The lotion set was nice but a little thick. Mostly I didn't see any change. And beware trying to get your refund. I am still waiting and I returned with
UPS. I have tried their virtual email service with no help and have called numerous times but never gotten any live person. It's not worth it! They received my rtn 3 weeks ago but no credit. So I'm still out the cost of the product, which wasn't worth it, plus the shipping cost I paid .
It's easy to sign up for this stuff but…
It's easy to sign up for this stuff but very difficult to cancel. Nothing on their website works for canceling your subscription. And if you call, expect to be on hold forever. I finally gave up. Do they make the canceling option difficult for a reason? That is not a good business practice if they want good reviews. I finally ended writing a letter to their return dept. I am hoping this works.
Worst company
Worst company. Try to cancel my order because the product did not work. Their website was down. I called three times and was put on hold forever. Finally I got through and they tried to upsell you with everything and then they tell me it was too late to cancel. Terrible company would not recommend them.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service! Products are terrible. Took a couple days to reach customer service. Sent back the products, at my own expense. Tracked the package, they received it a week ago and still haven’t refunded my money! Do not buy from this company!!
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Misleading advertisement and stuck with more merchandise and monthly payments. THIS IS A RIP OFF! The best The Body Firm will do is bill you for several more month and then cancel the subscription you did not sign up for. Shame on Jane Seymour for lending her name to this bogus operation!
This is such a gimmick
This is such a gimmick. They do not send you the products that they appear to make you think you are receiving and they are setting you up on AutoShip when you are looking just to double in the product for a one time purchase. There is no way to contact them once they set you up on AutoShip. There is no phone number to cancel it.
Rip OFF
Ordered directly from company instead of QVC and ordered an introductory kit. A month later they are sending me another kit and billing me almost $300. You can't even find a place on their website to look at my account info. RIP OFF
I purchased the kit and used it as…
I purchased the kit and used it as directed. I decided to go ahead and renew for the next shipment. I did and continued to use as directed. While there was very minor improvement, not enough to continue to pay the very high price. I called to cancel. The customer service rep did her best to talk me out of cancelling. Even to the point of offering free skin brightner to add to the other products. Still I did not see the improvement. I decided to cancel and called to do so. The next shipment was sent anyway. I called to return and the customer service rep was hounding me to continue. When I became upset and told him to tell me how to return the product and refund my money was he helpful. I returned the product but the company continued to make charges on my card. After another angry phone call did the rep agree to refund my money minus shipping and handling. This was the first time I had heard I would have to pay. DON'T EVEN USE THIS COMPANY, THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK AND THEY ARE EXPERTS AND GETTING JUST A BIT MORE OUT OF YOU1
Crepe Erase SCAM/UNETHICAL
I ordered the advertised trial set for$60+ I'm now being Billed $90+ this month for a shipment that I did NOT sign up for or request.
I called customer service to question and was advised that you are obligated to purchase monthly products when you purchase the trial offer.
Unethical practice!
Do not fall for this scam!
