Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the products, describing them as ineffective or causing issues. Customers frequently reported issues with subscription plans and unexpected charges after an initial purchase. The cancellation process was a major source of frustration, with many finding it difficult to reach customer service, who often made it challenging to cancel or stop recurring charges. Reviewers also felt the pricing was misleading, with advertised low prices quickly escalating to hundreds of dollars, and that the company's practices were unfair.

Questions on a Crepe Erase Product - No Response

The Body Firm has Not responded to 2 of my emails I have sent within the last 2 weeks concerning Crepe Erase Body Repair Treatment. In the last 6 months and now more recently (last 2 weeks) we have received 2 10 oz. jars that Do Not come close to feeling as thick, dense or luxurious as to what we have received for years. These 2 jars feel watered down, thinner and much less dense and we have a jar of CeraVe that feels much thicker, just as a comparison. One would expect an answer as to what is going on with this Crepe Erase Product, but The Body Firm doesn't care to answer. Is this now the norm and have they cheapened their product for higher revenues, could this be why No Answer or reply to my 2 emails? Maybe its time to quit buying from someone you can't trust to tell you the Truth?

Do NOT buy from this company

Do NOT buy from this company! While the products are okay, the cost is ridiculously high. Worse than the cost is the confusing subscription and stressful cancellation process! I spent 30 minutes on the company website’s “chat” platform basically begging the associate to cancel the subscription!!! Even if these products are amazing, I will NEVER buy anything from them ever again!

Scam Artists Stealing Money

Scam Artists Stealing Money
No one tells you that you will be charged every month and send products each month. This is a total scam. I have tried to cancel several times and they are still charging me even after confirmation of cancelation via email. Stay away from these people

Deceptive selling practices

Deceptive selling practices. You think you have made a one-time order and find that you are locked into a subscription for an additional $276. One is suppose to be able to return product, even if opened, if not totally satisfactory. I got skin rashes on my neck. The Lotion is sticky. Hate it. I phoned to cancel and the rep told me I would get a refund and not to bother sending back two boxes. He said I’d get a confirmatory email. The email says I have cancelled the subscription but have an outstanding balance for the entire subscription. I am mailing everything back today and asking AMEX to block them.

I was really excited to try this product but my skin did not like it. For me it really dried my skin out so I tried logging on to the website to cancel. The member website says it is being updated and is unavailable. Then I couldn’t log in at all. I spent over an hour on hold to talk with someone I couldn’t understand that refused to listen to my issues and tried every tactic to make me not cancel. They do not want to honor their money back guarantee and wanted to charge me an additional 300 plus dollars for canceling. They finally agreed to refund my charges but it was such a hassle. This company is horrible to deal with.

Extremely deceptive company in many ways--Don't Purchase!

Extremely deceptive ordering procedure. You're sucked in to a subscription when you think it's a one-time order. Suddenly more products show up on ur doorstep, and you've already been charged. When u call to cancel, the phone rep is high oressure--saying and offering everything to keep u from canceling. I have never experienced this manner of treatment from a company. Then, you're told you're financially responsible for any remaining subscription balance. I'm appalled and Jayne Seymour should be ashamed. Plus, the products are bogus, at least in my case. Totally ineffective.

I ordered a sample from Crepe Erase for a certain price. I never checked or signed up for auto renewal or authorized anything else . My daughter received a shipment, and then we found our credit card had been charged 93.00. On a customer service call we were told we have to make three payments of $93.00 in order to get released from this product. They will not cancel a SEPTEMBER order and if I demand to be able to send the product back I have to pay for all shipping costs. With two more payments pending, we reached out via chat and said I wanted a pre paid return label and they said they dont do that. This whole thing seems highly deceptive and possibly illegal. It reeks of DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICE.

THE BODY FIRM IS A BIG RIPPOFF!

I bought a sample kit. I was charged and paid for it. Then they changed my card for $129.41. I called The Body Firm Customer Service and was told that the subscription I never signed up for was cancelled. Then another charge was on my card. I called again and sent many emails to no avail. The chatbot they have is useless. It refused to address my concerns. I now have to cancel my card because I am fed up with these creeps. STAY AWAY FROM THE BODY FIRM. Jane Seymour should be ashamed of herself, as well as Sarah Rafferty.

Less than 30 days after receiving my…

Less than 30 days after receiving my initial welcome kit from The Body Firm/Crepe Erase, I was stuck with a PayPal charge of $300. It hadn’t even been 60 days for me to try the product and return it so why were they charging me $300? I filed a dispute with PayPal and then immediately called the TBF. The first representative I spoke to was incredibly helpful but hard to understand he assured me he would close my account, and that I would be able to return the $300 shipment that had already gone out.
In the meantime, PayPal sided with TBF and closed my dispute. WTH! I called TBF again and got another wonderful representative who said that she was making sure I would be credited the $300 back to my PayPal account and she also checked the other agents notes stating that my account had indeed been closed. She also assured me there was no other shipment coming.
Today I received the $300 refund in my PayPal account. But I will keep on top of this and make sure that no other erroneous charges are filed to my PayPal account from TBF. I have proof from emails that the account has been closed and I owe no further payments.

The moral of this story is to make sure you read every review of a company before you make a purchase from them. And if you do decide to purchase, make sure you read every tiny bit of fine print ; and as far as PayPal goes -you have to advocate for yourself, I guess.

I recently tried Crepe Erase—a product…

I recently tried Crepe Erase—a product promoted by the beloved Jane Seymour and advertised heavily through Instagram. Now that I’m of a certain age, I thought I’d give it a go. The ad suggested a simple trial offer, a starter kit for a minimal fee, with a money-back guarantee. What wasn’t made clear is that this “trial” automatically enrolls you into a full membership subscription—with no prior email confirmation or account setup instructions.

As a busy professional, I didn’t realize I had unknowingly become a “member” until I started receiving full-size shipments—without warning—and saw nearly $300 in upcoming charges. No email notifications. No reminder before billing. No easy access to manage your account unless you dig deep to figure it out on your own. And most concerning—there is no online option to cancel your membership.

After locating the customer service number and calling multiple times, I finally connected with a representative named Francis, who was an absolute standout. He was kind, professional, patient, and incredibly customer-focused. Despite working within a restrictive system, he took the time to walk me through the cancellation process, manually removed two future payments, and even refunded the charge I had already incurred. His grace and professionalism were a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience.

However, BodyFirm needs to completely rethink their business model. In today’s digital age, it’s standard practice for customers to be able to cancel, reschedule, or manage their memberships online. This lack of transparency and control is frustrating, outdated, and frankly, feels a bit predatory. Customers should never have to jump through hoops and spend nearly an hour on the phone just to cancel skincare.

Francis deserves praise for going above and beyond, but the company itself needs to reassess how it operates—because skincare shouldn’t come with a customer service headache

This company is a BIG RIP OFF

This company is a BIG RIP OFF. They don’t let you order until you check the box that hooks you into an auto ship that costs you hundreds of dollars even when you go to cancel they charge you for the unshipped items. They shouldn’t be allowed to rip people off like this.

This company Body Firm practices…

This company Body Firm practices deceptive practices.
Beware when you order the Trial you will be locked into a 3 month subscription that cost $270.
So if you do not want to be surprised do not order the trial.
If you do make sure you call before they surprise you with their "3 months package" and charge you $93/mo for 3 month.
And if you return the "3 months package' you'll have to pay the shipping to get it back to them.
