CTEK stands behind its products and always adheres to its product warranties (even when the problem is not their product’s fault)! They do not hassle you when you report a problem, nor do they try to find ways to avoid any responsibility on their end. When you report a problem, they immediately take ownership, and they solve the problem. I never feel like they are trying to find a way out of accepting any responsibility for the problem. They have even assumed responsibility for problems that were actually mine (I.e. corroded battery terminals that made their product not work). Their technical support tech Leo, is an absolute joy to work with. You never doubt that he values you as a customer first. I have numerous CTEK products maintaining batteries on my very expensive European high performance sports cars, and my experience with CTEK (via support from Leo) has been absolutely outstanding! I trust CTEK and their high quality products. I could not be more pleased.

This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. The attention to detail is impressive, and the performance is on par with more expensive alternatives. I’ve had the MXS 5.0 for 4 years but have only had to use it on 3 occasions.When I went to use it last week it wouldn’t power up.Did the usual checks I then contacted customer support.After sending the proof of purchase and serial number they approved a replacement.All within 2 working days.Fantastic customer service and many a company could do with having a look at how Ctec does things and implement it in their own operations.Well done Ctec and Thankyou.

I had an issue with my CTEK charger intermittent fault . CTEK changed it without any issue . The charger is coming up to 5 years old.

Well designed and thoughtful products for battery maintenance.

Have found the actual procedure for battery charging and maintenance to be as predictable and reliable as promised. The illuminated stepwise battery testing, charging and maintenance steps of the mxs 5.0 made for a successful outcome.
This experience with the mxs 5.0 allowed for an easy decision to also consider the CS Free unit for my other cars and for the freedom to have a safe and portable battery booster should I ever need it in the future.

Leo was able to send me a replacement part that they didn't sell. That is top tier relationship customer service! Why would I go anywhere first with service like this?

First time in 10 years a CTEK device (a Battery Sense) stopped working for me.

When attempts to fix the problem proved vain, CTEK is sending me another device to test instead — even though they do not manufacture it anymore.

CTEK is my go-to charger provider. I must’ve had five or six units over the last 10+ years in different locations and with different cars. CTEK also does a great job of warranty support and Customer Service. Keep up the great work!

Poor Quality Accessory cables
I purchased 3 CTek cables from Halfords Trade acct
2 comfort connectors (166622 ) and 1 extension (549800 )
The cables themselves were stiff hard plastic. Not impressed with CTek quality compared to the Chargers themselves which have soft pliable cables. Price paid for these cheap quality cables from CTek is very poor. I have 2 CTek chargers but no longer impressed by their quality which has gone down hill.

I Note CTeks response about use of PVC and all their reasons. However my soft cables on both chargers have lasted for years without issue and soft cables are easier to manage. Excuse not accepted, will go elsewhere henceforth. CTek can do better!!

One did develop a minor fault and CTEK replaced it FOC no quibble
