Best online shopping experience

Placing a click and collect order was swift. The notification that the order was ready was also fast and pickup super easy as it was evening, the store wasn't too busy and parking was free at that time of day.

Pleasant staff but had to order to store for a small item could not take a slow cooker away as no stock.
The same would have applied for a tiny carbon monoxide detector

Online orders using vouchers not possible to use so this could do with fixing! I had to spend money on parking & effort when I should just be able to buy this & get it delivered.
Also, the staff had x3 iPads to work from & x2 of them didn’t work - which is rather ironic in your line of business.

Product faulty but replaced without any fuss

I selected and ordered a JVC TV in Curry’s store in Stockport; I was completely ignored whilst browsing and had to go to Customer Services to place the order and for delivery. It was delivered by DPD but arrived damaged (obviously in the factory). I arranged collection and replacement but the second one was also damaged. I took a taxi to the store for another replacement which I insisted on being checked before taking it home in another taxi. I am 78 and live in an upstairs flat (no lift) so have had to struggle 3 times up and down stairs with a box containing a 40” TV. Not even an apology for inconvenience or offer of a credit note to compensate for the taxis was given by Customer Services. It might be JVC responsible for the damaged goods, which should never have left the factory, but Curry’s are the retailers and they have the customer contact. Also, if I’d known that Curry’s don’t deliver and install TV’s, I would have taken one home in a taxi (after getting staff to check it first).

First of all I would like to thank Safa who was amazing when I visted the store. Safa was welcoming, friendly and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond. If you visit the store grab him as he's the best 😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just had my new fridge freezer and dryer delivered by the fantastic Amanda and Scott. They were so friendly, efficient and helpful. Thank you Amanda and Scott for all your help 👏

Was happy with purchase but not happy at having to pay £30.00 next day deliver when we could have fitted it in our car even if it meant going back next day to pick it up

The young man who dealt with my issue was understanding.

I’ve paid for insurance on my headphones that had broken joule didn’t Make a fuss he check my documents seen it was in order found me another pair of headphones and I was on my way back to work. Fair play to him

The sales assistant Tracy at the peel centre was extremely helpful especially when we had to return the following day with ammendments to the delivery and instalation
