Update :
After missing the delivery date and getting the cake after the birthday I was glad it was not delivered on time to start with. The cake is an over procedure (double proce after discount) of a supermarket cake. It is dry and exactly similar to what you get in Tesco's or siansbury's for under £7.

The delivery was cancelled the day before the birthday. the delivery service has a new delivery date , on the day of the birthday between 8am and 8pm so there is a risk of missing the birthday all together. customer service said sorry but we can not do anything. I had to go buy another cake.
the stress about the cake plus the extra cost of the new cake (and the redundant cake I will now have ). it is all too much for me.
note , they refunded the £5.95 delivery fee which doesn't exactly help but for fairness i need to mention that.
conclusion be warry if you have an occasion , they are not reliable.

I have ordered from them before. Cakes come in good condition and fresh. Easy to order and the cakes are amazing. They keep in contact through the whole process before delivery. Would recommend to anyone.

I would highly recommend Cutter and Squidge cakes. I contacted them based on recommendation from a friend who has bought their cakes numerous times. The Tiramasu cake I ordered for my son’s 30th birthday arrived beautifully wrapped and well packed for the delivery. It looked wonderful and was delicious. I’m delighted to have found this company and will definitely be using them again. Thank you.

I paid £40 for a very small dry cake. The same one I could get from a supermarket for £7! It wasn’t freshly prepared at all - it was dry and very basic. Absolutely no value for money.

Clear website and quick ordering. Sending as a gift was made very straightforward.

My daughter requested a Tiramisu cake for her birthday, and after much searching I found this company made them and could deliver when I needed it.
The cake arrived on time and well preserved in a sturdy box with an ice pack and lots of protection. The smell was glorious.
It was easily the best cake any of us have ever eaten! Amazing flavour, not remotely dry and it looked beautiful. My daughter was over the moon and the whole thing was inhaled that day, down to the last crumb.
It isn't the cheapest of cakes, but when you take into account delivery, top notch service and the joy of the cake itself, it's worth every penny.

I placed an order as a birthday present for a close friend, nominating a delivery date of 4th November. The company acknowledged and confirmed that it had been booked in.
On the 5th November their courier company DPD e/mailed to say that delivery would be today - ie more than 24 hours late.
I telephoned Cutter & Squidge to complain, and they said 'sorry' and promised to refund the delivery charge - but really this isn't good enough. It was my first order and will surely be my last.

I'm really disappointed with my experience. I placed a gift order (CS1170311), but then discovered the recipient was away. I called straight away to ask for a simple change—either delay the delivery or change the postcode.

I was told this was impossible. Even though my order was still at their facility and had not been dispatched, I was told I had missed a 30-minute window and nothing could be done.

I explained that this means the order will go completely to waste, and I even offered to pay for any fees to make the change. They still said no.

This just seems like a hugely rigid and unsustainable policy. It prioritizes a rule over a simple, common-sense solution. It felt very impersonal, and it's honestly put me off ever buying from or recommending this company in the future.

A real shame, and a total waste of a gift.

Great choice of cakes, cakes for all occasions, something different, unusual and special. Easy to use website. Like the delivery timing best.

They are amazing .excellent quality and service. I get my birthday cake every year from them .they deliver on time and their flavours are great and unique. I will highly recommend them

I just have to write a review for Cutter & Squidge! I had a problem with a delivery of a gift of their fabulous brownies. It was my error but the response from Rebecca was superb! Fast, efficient and friendly - Cutter and Squidge offered to redeliver my order the next day. As I said, it was not their error or problem but they made my day! I will not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to all my friends! Thank you x

Literally the best. Rebekah from the Customer Experience Team has been extremely helpful and polite. If i ever have to order a cake in the UK, this is the only place I'll choose. Highly recommended.

Easy to navigate the website, appreciate that it mentions dietary requirements and which products are halal.

I couldn't recommend this bakery more! I was looking for a bakery to order my birthday cake and I came across Cutter & Squidge. I was looking for something more "artisanal" and the cakes looked exactly what I was looking for. I ordered a Red Velvet, which unfortunately got damaged during the delivery. Well, the customer team sent me a replacement cake and arranged everything for it to arrive on time the following day (it was a Saturday). I didn't expect anything at all, but what they did and how they managed the situation speaks volumes of the beautiful people working in this small business. Plus, the cake was absolutely delicious - everyone loved it. Absolutely support this business, you won't be disappointed!
