Please stop changing the appearance and layout of how news feeds are presented on the mail on line app, the previous structure with news in columns and boxes made it very user friendly with quick and easy access to the news items you really want to read, the new layout is seriously visually poor.

Has become prone to sending you to a fake McAfee virus page, contacted them about it but seems they don't do much about such cases.

The new Daily Mail app is absolutely awful! It looks like it was designed by a 5-year-old, with zero real content and a layout that is somehow both chaotic and empty at the same time. And, no I didn't bother reading your nuclear armageddon article crassly called 'Deep Dive' on 24th February could be accused of scaremongering if it could be taken seriously. Navigating your new 'improved if you have room temp IQ app' is a nightmare, articles are harder to find and the overall experience is just frustrating. Who approved this? I used to check the app daily, but now I’m refusing to use it unless they change it back.

The updated version of this app logged me out of my account and when I tried to log in it said it didn't recognise my e-mail address. Deleted it and downloaded it again but now when I press on 'log in' nothing happens. Totally useless.

Absolutely awful, stop messing with things that work perfectly fine and focus on news content rather than click bait content.

Agree with previous posts about the initial changes to the DM online. However after deleting the app and reinstalling, it is far better, easy to post a review, delete "read later" articles etc and I am now a fan of the new look and accessibility, makes the old layout look dated.

I don't know what the DM have done to their site, but it's completely and utterly useless now. It takes ages to get into a story, then it freezes and you can't move up or down the page, then the only way to clear it is to close the app completely. Sometimes the app closes on me anyway. Getting into the comments is also hopeless. Have decided to delete the app and use the BBC news instead!

Awful. Can't scroll down. Very often can't open a story. Can't close down the app, and quite often the app closeson me anyway. I've been trying this since its update ... bloody awful!!

It's just beyond awful. How did they mess up so badly? It was decent before the change but now so UN-user friendly and more fitting content wise to a shit red top, but why try to compete with them? That is not your market! It just looks completely shit, please change back pronto or lose subscriptions on mass

Just updated the Daily Mail App - what a mistake on my part!

The layout is awful, just seems to be social media posts and gosfip not actual news.

I'll give it a couple of days before I uninstall it and use Reddit instead - at least I know that's a comic.

I agree with everything everybody has said. I have read the DM online for years - with an adblocker because the ads drove me crazy . You can still read it online - at the moment - depending on who your server is - witnout ads. What I can't do is download the Comments which are often more intreresting than the articles. The DM claims to be a crusading newspaper but really it is now just a comic and fan mag. Any useful article such as medical ones are now charged for. How cynical and disgraceful is that? Still they now claim to have reached 100,000 paying readers so if people are stupid enough to pay for it the DM will just be laughing at those of us who are not. They certainly won't care about the poor rating they get from us via Trust pilot.

Absolute nightmare. Thought it was just a glitch, so for a few days kept removing app then reloading. Nothing improved. Sticking with it but days are numbered.

What computer nerd changed the app??? It used to work, stories used to update, now they don't!!!
TECHNICAL IDIOCY

Rubbish, since it changed a couple of weeks ago it's become slow ,glichy and unresponsive, half story's can't be read so just after money through subscription, lost me as a reader

It was good, but after the update absolutely waste of time, will be uninstalling, total garbage now, zero out of ten.

New app is shockingly bad. Freezes regularly, can't scroll through properly. And you have to pay for access to so much. Awful.
