Waste of time

Hi,

I recently used Dans Dodgy Deals for an email migration, and I regret to inform you that my inbox has now entered witness protection.

The process started with confidence—“Don’t worry, we’ve done loads of these”—which in hindsight feels less like reassurance and more like a threat. Within hours, emails began vanishing, reappearing in random folders, and in one case, apparently time-travelling back to 2007.

Important work emails? Gone. Spam from 2012 about “hot singles in my area”? Safely preserved and somehow marked as high priority.

At one point, my boss’s email thread was merged with my Tesco receipt and a newsletter I never subscribed to. I didn’t even know that was technically possible, but here we are.

Support consisted of Dan replying “Have you tried refreshing?” followed by complete radio silence—ironically, the only thing that migrated successfully was the lack of communication.

To summarise: if you enjoy chaos, confusion, and the digital equivalent of someone emptying your filing cabinet into a wind tunnel, this is the service for you.

Otherwise, maybe… don’t.

Kind regards,
A Former Inbox Owner

"Dehydrated Customer"

"The stress from Dan's service drove me to drink cleaning products. Plot twist: I now have superhuman immunity. Still worse than the migration experience though. My emails are in the shadow realm. 0/10 would not recommend."
