Took my money. No response from any email I’ve sent the company. Removed my profile when I called them out. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!!! I’ve reached out to their hosting provider as well as my credit card company to obtain a refund.

Would give a 0,but can't...Over priced BS...Account gets suspended for no reason...Waste of time,don't bother...

There is no way to cancel your subscription and it will auto-charge your card until you stop payment through your bank. I tried numerous times to contact the company and they do not respond.

After trying many other dating sites but to little success, I tried Darkyria as it seemed like a dating site that is catered to me (people of an alternative lifestyle). I signed up, uploaded a profile picture, wrote a profile etc., and waited.

Within the first day I had a few messages, but wouldn't you know, I can't view them without paying through the nose to become a premium member. I get it, these sites need to make money, but they should utilise the premium in other ways. Clickbaiting at its best. But that's not all...

Day two: I rewrote my bio and added my Instagram. Instagram. Nothing malicious, nothing naughty and, from what I can see, not against the T&C's. I did that with the intention to pay for premium when I got paid, but the message was clear: "I don't have premium YET, so catch me here if you wish to chat." And what do you know, account suspended!

I don't understand. Was I suspected to be a fake because of my Instagram link?? Or am I not allowed to enter external social media? None of this is clear. And it gets worse: customer support are about as useful as a pair of socks to a man with no legs.

Being clear clickbait to get you to sign up and then expect you to pay to see your messages is bad enough, but I stress I was willing to give it a shot. But now, I think I will spend that money elsewhere and this site can sod off.

Shocking site. Dont go near it.

Firstly there are loads of bugs with the site when you log in and it will open random profiles making it appear you visited them and were interested.

Second this site prioritises giving you views and visitors until you sign up to the paid membership. In the first two weeks as an unpaid member I received over 300 views a 50+ messages. As soon as you opt into the paid membership that all stops. No views, no messages.

Total scam, stay away.

I blew up Rs2000 for this. i had filled out my profile in great detail, kept a neat looking profile picture. Till now, not even ONE person has messaged back. I feel cheated of my money. Guys , Pls don't sign up for this scam site. You will only lose your money and waste your time. No one's going to respond to you. :( I have lost interest in dating sites, and prefer to remain single now. After this experience, I do not have the interest to check out Tinder, okCupid and the gazillion other dating sites. I had enough :(

Darkyria is a great place to meet and chat with goth and rock people. I have been using this platform for a month now and can't think of any negative thing about it. Worth Trying!

They banned me away quite easily and won't even let change any forbitten text if there even is any. Much fake profiles and lots of fishing the costumers, weak site! Only for the money...

Before I joined I put my profile up and had messages every day but couldn't read them as I had not paid, as soon as I paid to join I received no messages ect, I have sent two messages to their contact center and still have had no reply's.

Totally fake click-bait nonsense.
Interested to see people have claimed refunds?

Pretty sure they’re mostly fake profiles. Everyone I saw seemed to be from Alabama and anyone that sent a message - sent the same one. I would write back and none would respond. Was able to get my money back through PayPal because they considered it a fraud site.

Questionable site. I don't think I would have 15 different unique messages in the first week and I doubt they were, I wasn't willing to pay for it.

Paid one month after getting a ton of messages, after responding, not one reply back.
found one real person on within the month who actually responded and we simply didn't match, not the sites fault.

What is the sites faults are poor customer support, and more bot/fake accounts than you can wave a big stick at, clearly fake profiles as anyone in the goth scene knows that ppl would actually respond to messages even with a polite no thanks.

Save your money and join eHarmony, you do get goths and alterantives on there.

I found these reviews very helpful as i've joined for free and been getting a lot of messages and likes.
It makes it tempting to pay and join but it did seem too good to be true unless i've suddenly become irresistible to the ladies after all these years which i highly doubt !
From what i read on here they must employ people to send you lots of messages and likes to get you to pay and sign up, then you'll get no more.
I didn't sign up and i'm glad now after reading other people's experiences.

I keep trying to upgrade to imperial status and yet it still declines my card no matter how accurate my card is and sufficient funds I had. It locks you out of pretty much everything on the site until you upgrade. So basically you can't even do anything at all. No body even helps me fix it on the site... Find another dating site to find metal girls/guys.

No one replies to any messages for a start, I emailed the contact page of Darkyria, now awaiting a reply after the fourth time after two-three weeks saying i'd like to cancel my account for a refund and still had no reply at all. Reasons why, I've had people say hi, i've replied to everyone who said hi to start a conversation and had absolutely none. Either it's false profiles or a fault with the mailing system that needs fixing. I paid to use the imperial service to message people as well and not had one reply at all. Still waiting for a refund for the remaining months, I've basically paid rough £45 to join a site with absolutely no messages or admin help.

This company is absolutely outrageous. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT subscribe. Never once did I sign up for this BS, but for years I have continued to receive countless emails promoting their company. I have "unsubscribed" COUNTLESS amounts of times. I have tried contacting them. I have tried sending them many many emails. I have tried going to their website and filing a complaint. I have threatened to report them for violating my right to unsubscribe and I haven't recieved anything but hundreds of the same damn emails. They do not have a number to call. It's absolutely ridiculous and the process is endless. DO NOT sign up because you will NEVER be able to get out of their system. I NEVER signed up. I have no clue how they got my information but I'm absolutely livid.
