The trainer that delivered the PRINCE2 course I attended was excellent. He made a dry subject very engaging.

Our trainer was Bilkis.
Excellent trainer incredibly knowledgeable on her subject and an obvious practitioner of Prince.
Will recommend her every time.

I was sent a practice exam paper that I was told I had to complete before I attended the course which I did. Only to find that we did the exact same exam under exam conditions on the course the day before our actual exam, so i didnt get the best of that.

Also, 2 days before my course was due to start I was sent some further reading that I was asked to complete as the trainer would be going through it on Thursday. Again, I read the additional material, however, it wasn't looked at on the Thursday so felt like a complete waste of time.

Prince 2 course.

I thought the training delivery methods didn't address individual learning styles properly. Most of the course was tutor-led and didactic in style. I think the course could certainly benefit from incorporating more varied learning methods such as group work and discussion.

The lunch time food was generally poor quality and not very healthy - emphasis on white bread, cake, crisps and chocolate. There should have been more fruit and other healthy options available.

The room was not air-conditioned and often got too hot. Opening windows just allowed the outside noise to distract us.

Made the training for Prince Practioner enjoyable(!) and relevant to me so would select Datrix everytime. The precourse material was really useful.

Useful and practical although the session was very lecture based and could have ben more interactive. it was a small group so could have allowed more discusison and practical application. Too much focus on learning of process rather than application for me.

The organisation prior to the event could have been better - the signage was poor and had abother comapny name, the lunch was apalling and the pre-reading was not straightforward to download.

the Prince2 methodology is very useful and the training is worthwhile to anyone in any role where they are managing projects or part of a project team . the facilitator was very knowledgable about the process but could have provided more practical examples about implementation. He wa svery amenable to providing help and made himself available to support understanidng outside of the session

The trainer on our course spoke to us like we were down the pub havng a chat, this made it really easy to learn. It was friendly and relaxed environment which made a difficult subject far more enjoyable and much easier to understand.

Pre course reading is essential, the course is fast paced from first thing Monday morning. The trainer was excellent.

Paul was an excellent tutor, nothing was too much trouble. He broke PRINCE2 down into a logical and realistic format that was understandable. I was dubious about class sizes, but Datrix assured me that they didn't overfill their classes. There were 14 candidates during my week and this was a perfect number. It was hard work and did involve study periods each night, but it paid off as I passed both the Foundation and Practitioner exams. I found the course enjoyable, gained knowledge from Paul's experience as a Project Manager and will definitely be putting PRINCE2 into practice. Datrix issued vouchers for lunch for a nearby coffee shop which was very nice so no issues with lunches, which wasn't really top of my priorities anyway :-)

The delivery of the course was absolutely superb, the tutor was very professional and gave real life examples to all situations which made the theory alot easier to understand.

I would definitely recommend Datrix.

Can't recommend Datrix training highly enough. Completed the Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner course in January. The pre-course administration was excellent, the trainer (Mark) had a great style and his knowledge was broad. The venue was ideal. Really positive experience. Thanks.

The course was hard work but made enjoyable by the tutor. The informal surroundings and great tutos put me at ease whilst worrying about passing the course.

I could not fault the facilities that Datrix provided, a very good trainer and perfect facilities, generally quiet with lunch provided that ensured no unnecessary delays. It was an enjoyable week spent in good company with two passes to two exams.

This training was great. I was very concerned that a week of PRINCE 2 training would be very dry and a bit of a struggle. The trainer and content of this course made project management interesting and engaging, and much easier to get a grip on.

Very thorough training and helpful tips for the exam

The tutors were both excellent on the courses but the background organisation was dreadful . A four hour wait to sit an exam which necessitated unexpected extra childcare was the outstanding example.

I took my PRINCE2 training and exams with Datrix recently. My first impression about Datrix was "hmn, great training booklet!" They captured everything you needed to know for the training in that booklet and that was great. The trainer had a bit of hard time understanding attendants' thought processes sometimes e.g. when you asked a question to clarify what he was saying, it took time and discussion for him to come round to understanding what you meant - which, ironically, was what he was actually talking about in the first place!

Anyway, despite that, I think the trainer was great, overall. In terms of preparing you for the exams, I think he was very passionate and wanted to do everything to ensure that you didn't come to the exam hall all wishy-washy but well prepared both mentally and otherwise. He was great in that respect.

And, oh, the food?! Don't even get me started... Why did Datrix organise such a high-profile training and then decide to back it up with such a rubbish lunch?! It was as if Datrix Training Ltd needed to get some real life programme organisers on board!! Prepare lunch to match the profile of the training, puh-lee-aase!

The exam was conducted in a very professional manner. The trainer/facilitator was great, answering everyone's questions with utmost professionalism, calm and composition. He was great!

Thank you Datrix. Although the name Datrix has somehow come to be associated with rubbish lunch in my brain, but overall, your training itself was good. So for the reason of that rubbish lunch, I am definitely holding back that last star!

If you can, please have the single sheet that shows the processes and themes incorporated in the booklet so that all you need is in the booklet. Since you can't take that to exam, I could not see why that was a separate, loose, misplaceable single sheet. Also the sheet was a little bit difficult to follow. We drew a simpler one that was easy to follow. Maybe you should talk to your trainers about redrawing this sheet.

Just before I go, please communicate, communicate! We had been told that the Practitioner exam results would be released two weeks after the training. This did not happen. I emailed my trainer but nothing happened for another two weeks or so i.e. no reply, nothing. Apparently, he had forwarded my email to the Course Admin team, who decided to ignore my request until the actual exam results had been received. And then, all of a sudden, I got a congratulatory email! No, don't do that next time. Just send a tiny piece of acknowledgement email promising to get back when the results are ready; please! It is nerve racking expecting exam results and it is even more stressing when you contact those who should know and nobody bats an eyelid. Please!

Anyway, 'nuff said now. I got it all off my chest.

I wasn't sure about the trainers teaching style at first, but towards the end of the week it showed it worked and passed with no concerns. Only problem was the class room was far too small on the final exam day when extra delegates arrived

I attended a Prince 2 course run by Datrix training in September this year. I was impressed by the course materials, the origanisation and most of all by the trainer who was very knowledgeable about the subject, gave very good real life examples and used humour well.

Datrix training provided fast-paced but comprehensive sessions on PRINCE2. The trainer was friendly, approachable and very knowledgable on the subject and taught the material well, accomodating the groups learning styles.
