Disappointing quality, dismissive service
I am absolutely appalled by this company’s complete lack of accountability. My kettle and toaster were purchased from Argos in June 2023, and developed serious faults after just over one year of use. These are essential, everyday household appliances — they should last far longer than this.
Under UK law, goods must be of satisfactory quality and durable. Instead of acknowledging this or offering any support, customer care hid behind their short 1-year manufacturer warranty and refused to help at all. They even implied the leaking kettle was my fault for not descaling or filling it properly — which is completely untrue — and told me to arrange and pay for repairs entirely myself.
It is unacceptable that this brand washes its hands of responsibility the moment their basic warranty runs out, despite selling products that clearly fail far too soon. I will never buy from them again and strongly advise others to avoid this brand completely.

Delivered next day in a well packaged box. Easy to set up & get started with an excellent bean to cup coffee. I was impressed too with the quality of the foam in the milk too.
Dreadful customer service.
I’m still awaiting a response to the fact that I require a replacement, rather than a refund, for a faulty item.

I am very disappointed with my experience with De’Longhi. My coffee machine has been sent for repair several times due to the same problem: the milk carafe no longer froths. Each time the machine is returned and only works for a short time, then it reappears.
The most frustrating thing is that I do not receive a clear explanation of the defect in the machine or the repairs carried out. After so many interventions without a permanent solution, I have lost confidence in this product and the support service.
I expect much better quality and service from a well-known brand. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing and I cannot recommend this product or the repair service.

The experience of buying was excellent but I had a lot of trouble with delivery by UPS. I strongly recommend that De Longhi considers change their delivery partner. At the end I had to pick up my product at UPS facility, after 1 week waiting everyday for programmed delivery.

Awful warranty customer service. Non existent. Beware after spending £500!! Zero support.
Purchased a £500 Bean to cup coffee Magnifica machine in May, and here we are only a few Months later with a faulty milk frother. It just pours hour water out making a standard drink. Emailed customer support back in June and only received a reply last week ! And when I replied back have heard nothing.
Customer service is shockingly slow and unresponsive. You need to hope you never have to make a warranty claim. The first email back (when you eventually hear back) will be all the text book checks. Have you washed it out thoroughly, have you used the correct milk. Obvious stuff. They treat you like a 4 year old learning how to drink with a cup.
Still have not had a response. £500 piece of junk sat in my kitchen.
Wish we bought a new Philips when our last one reached end of life. Their customer service was first class whenever we messaged them.
Think twice about purchasing a De’Longhi unless you like zero customer support and a £500 kitchen ornament. 0/10 for De’Longhi.

The worst customer service
The worst customer service, ordered a air con unit that stated 1-3 working days on the 26th of June still not received and was told they are completely sold out in the uk and admitted they have sold stick they do not have. Cant tell me a date as of when it will be back in stock. Happy to take £800 of me and refusing to refund me

We’ve had De’Longhi bean to cup machine for long years, and wanted to upgrade. It’s no disappointment, we love our Evo cappuccino maker. It does brew a stronger coffee than the previous one, and the milk is frothy. We are very pleased!
Great airco
Great airco. Couldn't find any on line but then you had a "refurbished" (a returned) one in stock so I grabbed it. Took longer to be delivered than expected but at least it came!

Delivery of my order has still yet to arrive 2 weeks late. poor communication and an overall very disappointing experience. i wouldn't recommend ordering from here. John lewis has 10 times better customer service.

La Specialista Coffee Machine Broke/Terrible Customer Service
I purchased a La Specialista coffee machine for £650 in January 2023, and it has performed well up until now - the metal knob to operate the grinder amount has fallen off, as the underlying plastic component broke. I contact customer service and the person I spoke to was unhelpful, quoting me £190 to send the machine to a service centre (to replace a tiny plastic component). I asked for the relevant part myself and was told that was not possible. In my view if Delonghi cant supply the plastic part so that I can fix it myself, they should not quote me £190 and tell me thats all they can do. What a joke - will rethink buying products from Delonghi in future now that I know it will be a nightmare if any small parts malfunction

Smooth process, kept informed on delivery. Item: Penguino Portable Air Conditioner works well as described.
Sent the wrong parts so product couldn’t be used.
Sent wrong parts in the box so the item couldn’t be used. You’d think they would ensure all correct parts were in the order before shipping it to the customer… well I guess not.
Also delivery took absolutely ages says 1-3 days but was more like 7-10 days.

I had to call UPS multiple times after they said they had tried to deliver and didn't. The final delivery man argued that it was too heavy and did not want to carry it to my apartment. I am a 67 year old woman. You should change your transporter.
