Aileen was my agent she was unbelievably helpful in giving me options on the best dentistry service available for my budget and needs.
She took the hard work away for me. I just researched my options .the one I chose done a great job which I'm happy and satisfied with.

If there was a way to put a -5 grade that would still be high for them. STAY AWAY they are a scam. Besides the do not pay their employees. A 5 year old kid would make a better job than them

Avoid this company along with Freer Dental and any other clinic they recommend. They are a scam company, placing with clinics that mess up your implants. Leave out screws, refuse to respond after doing their shoddy work. In fact avoid the country. They know they can mess up your teeth provide terrible work, resulting in tons of problems of which they will ignore, refuse response and you will spend 1000's upon arrival home repairing the damage they have done. They operate with shady dental clinics, and were they to be in the US they would be sued many times over. Avoid Avoid Avoid and I am happy to provide proof and correspondence and lack thereof with this terrible organization and the clinics that they use. Media will hear of this company as they have been scamming people and risking people's dental health for far too long. Regardless of what they try to type or respond to, do you due diligence and you will find that many of their reviews are fake, they pay to have them removed as is the case with most dental clinics in Costa Rica, and they will Lie Lie Lie of which I have once again proof. I am very happy to supply absolute proof of the damage done to my teeth, implants, correspondence with this Dental departure and any other information you need so that you may also avoid this company and any of the Clinics they "work" with. They will ignore you, say you have a warranty and then refuse to response. Complaints go unheard, shady characters work at this Dental Departures Group as shown by their terrible reviews not only here but on Reddit, Face Book and others. They along with their shady Clinics and Dental organizations pay to have them removed.

I had a deeply disappointing and troubling experience with a surgeon I found through Dental Departures/Medical Departures. The platform presents itself as a trusted resource for finding qualified, vetted professionals abroad. However, my experience suggests their vetting process is extremely limited or nonexistent. The doctor I selected from their recommendations committed what I believe to be malpractice.
The outcome of the procedure was not what I asked for and far below acceptable medical standards. He even used an antiquated surgical technique. This has caused me significant distress and I will require future corrective surgery. When I reached out to Dental Departures/ Medical Departures to raise my concerns, I received no meaningful response or assistance. There was no effort to investigate the issue, and they referred me to the wrong governing agency to file a complaint against the doctor.
They claim to offer peace of mind to international patients, but in my case, they failed to ensure the basic safety or credibility of the provider they promoted. They appear to act purely as a booking intermediary, without taking any responsibility for the quality of care delivered by the clinics listed on their site.
I strongly advise anyone considering using this platform to proceed with extreme caution. Do your own thorough research-don't assume that because a clinic is listed on DentalDepartures, it has been properly vetted or monitored.

Dental Departues is a third party listing service only. Best to call the dental office directly (look for a phone number that is not affiliated with Dental Departures) and speak with a doctor in that office. When you call Dental Departures, you are not calling a dental office. They are a listing service that gets paid for referrals.

No Answers & Misleading Prices
I contacted this company to get a quote on their global service for finding professional dentists, as I’ve used them before. However, the price they quoted was drastically different from what I was offered at the clinic they referred me to in Kuta. The “approximate” price they quoted was off by 120%—they told me a composite tooth would be €49, yet the clinic offered a price of €120. This kind of discrepancy is not what I expect from a professional service.

Additionally, I had an issue the last time I used their referral service in April. They directed me to East Rose Dental in Ho Chi Minh City, where a representative named John from Dental Departures was my contact. East Rose Dental created a three-tooth bridge for me, but within two weeks, it raised, leaving a 3mm gap beneath the middle tooth—very inconvenient. I sent photos to John immediately, and he assured me the clinic would fix it under warranty if I returned.

Today, when I followed up with you, your response was vague. You said the repair would only be covered if I met the guarantee requirements. That felt like a retraction to me. I don’t want to travel back to Vietnam without a clear commitment that East Rose Dental will honor the warranty and fix their mistake. I asked for confirmation on this multiple times but got no clear answer.

At this point, if I don’t receive assurance that the warranty will be honored, I feel compelled to revise my initial positive review on YouTube and social media to reflect my experience more accurately. I made this clear to you, but instead of addressing my concerns or contacting East Rose Dental to secure the repair, you dismissed my follow-up as a “threat.”

Let me clarify: sharing an honest account of my experience isn’t a threat—it’s simply transparency. If the company and their partner, East Rose Dental, don’t fulfill their promises or honor their warranty, I am entirely within my rights to share my experience publicly.

Crystal Dental review.
I needed to have my crowns installed, as my regular dentist got sick. Turned to Crystal Dental just to be robbed 500 euros. He performed some work which was already done by my regular dental clinic.

Terrible employer. Won't pay and he hides in Singapore. Just book with the clinic directly

The dentist cut off half my tooth to put on a veneer. Six weeks later, the veneer came off. I reported the problem to dental departures. Now they are avoiding me. Do not return my calls or emails. Scum. Now I have half a tooth and no recourse. A dentist in the United States said they should never have done a veneer on that tooth beater the bottom teeth are misaligned, and the only way to get it to stay on is to get braces. That’s what I’m left with now.

My aunt is a sweet lady and did not want to have anyone give her grief, so I am writing this to make others aware. She had the absolute worst experience with this so-called dental company that’s supposed to help you find a reliable clinic. From start to finish, it was clear that they are completely misleading and not at all educated on what they’re doing. They don’t care about matching you with a quality clinic that will actually take care of you—they only care about pushing you to whichever clinic gives them a cut.

The clinic they sent her to had mold in the bathroom and little bugs coming out of their equipment! The dentist was two hours late to the appointment and had dried blood on his scrubs. The front office knew no English and wouldn't even bother to offer my aunt water when she had a cough that she is sure was triggered by all the dust.

It’s obvious they’re driven by profit, not patient care. They present themselves as experts, but it’s laughable how little they actually know about the clinics they recommend. She was sent to a clinic that was unprofessional and had terrible reviews, yet this company had assured her it was “one of the best.” It feels like a scam where the clinics pay them to funnel patients in, no matter the quality or care.

The dishonesty never ends. They pretend to have your best interest in mind, but all they do is push you into the hands of clinics that only care about taking your money, not about your dental health. I wouldn’t trust them for a second and urge everyone to avoid this company at all costs.

Scam. I've booked an appointment at "SEVILLIE DENTAL" through Dental Departure for a "canal treatment" (I've been at a dentist before and I had my X-rays with me, and I knew what treatment I need) . That was according to a price list, where the price was 150-200€. After more than an hour delay, we could get into the doctor. Where she did exactly what we agreed on without any additional work.

But the bill was shocking. 328€, which is 64% more then the maximum price indicated on Dental Departure's website. The clinic said the prices are not updated, then they said it's the X-rays, then they said a "reconstruction". I've insisted to pay only the agreed price & called DD who promised to call back within 10 minutes.. But they never did. The clinic manager came in with a body guard like a mafia boss and started speaking Spanish although I asked him to speak English. Finally, I had to pay the 328€ and got a manipulated invoice.
Note: None in the clinic speak English, except the dentist.

Very bad experience. Never try it.

In late 2022 I began looking for a dentist in Guadalajara. I ended up being referred to BEYOND DENTAL AESTHETICS by Dental Departures. I had seen dentists in the US and I felt that because of the expense and amount of damage, extractions and 4 on one both upper and lower would be the best route. The dentist at BEYOND DENTAL AESTHETICS convinced me that many teeth were salvageable and with root canals,crowns, 6 implants and veneers I would have a great outcome. I can provide further detail if you are interested but let me just say : I first flew to Guadalajara in January 2023..15 months later, after spending $408-449 for air fare for 3 trips $379-519 for hotels 3 times, numerous Ubers, 2 full mouth ex-rays ($76-100usd, they don't have this equipment in their clinic) , enduring surgery without anesthesia, paying BEYOND DENTAL AESTHETICS $18800, I had 2 implants. The doctor told me they hadn't placed any of the other 4 implants, including my two top front teeth because the earlier bone graft had failed.After spending 3 weeks over 9 months and at minimum $23000, I was to be leaving there with 2 implants. I was leaving my 3rd visit with a very unnatural appearing partial on my two front teeth, 2 teeth missing on my top and lower arch, bottom front veneers they'd redone (because they had come off within days of application while I ate jello) that were thick and unnatural looking. In the ensuing months the veneer on my upper right bicuspid has come off leaving a glaringly dark contrast to the adjacent veneer and preventing me from smiling. The lower middle 3 teeth with the blocky veneers have receded back from my other teeth giving me a bulldog-like under bite. The doctor apologized and said she would pay for my flight and hotel to return in JANUARY and fix everything beautifully. I left numb. Yesterday I contacted her. She NOW says my 4 implants and crowns can all be done beautifully in 2 more trips and for $6000 usd more! I will pay for the first trip and she will pay for the last. I have several friends who have had 4 on 1's and full mouth restorations in Cancun and Algodones. None ever m isade more than 2 trips, paid over (at most) $14,000 and all the work looks good and they are very happy. I am not against getting dental work done in Mexico.But be very careful and in my experience you should absolutely avoid DENTAL DEPARTURES and. BEYOND DENTAL AESTHETICS in Guadalajara.

The company is a complete scam! They referred me to One Destination Clinic. The told me that the owner would be the one that would be doing all in four implants. I ended up with a person that looked to be in his 20's. all my implants got infected and had to be removed. They tried to put crowns of infected implants

I have not even been to the clinic yet, which is in Istanbul, but my interactions with Maria have been very informed and wonderful. I research everything before making a decision. This comment is mostly to address the racist, hateful and ignorant remark made by D.fiore. That review should be taken down due to hate speech. Obviously prejudiced against women and other races of people. If you are so biased, why didn't you get it done in your own country??? I hope that TRUSTPILOT will notice your review and refer to their guidelines. It is highly offensive.

Great company! They are all about doing what is good and finding solutions for people!

I would highly recommend people stay away from this agency.. They had a dentist on their platform that did malpractice on my teeth aka gum. In the usa and Europe they couldn't fix the damage what was done in Antalya turkey by this female denist. The head of this agency is a arabic men in turkey.. Which is a other disgusting fact.. Instead to leave this business is with the local ppl that are natives and know the laws and regulations. They go with a Arabic Person that isn't eithet turkish, a dentist or has enough knowledge of everything in turkey! Stay away from this platform and people!!
