The air conditioner is well built with…
The air conditioner is well built with good accessories. However at the moment we keep getting a ft message but when we empty it there is very little water. We also have a different make of self evaporating air conditioner and have never had to empty it in the last 2 years. I will see how it goes but will be returning it if this doesn't change.

Regarding the "FT" message, this typically indicates that the internal water tank is full and requires draining. However, if you're finding that there is very little water present when emptying the unit, we'd like to investigate this further.
Could you please let us know which operating mode the unit is being used in (cooling, dehumidifying, fan, etc.)? If possible, a short video showing the FT message and the amount of water being drained would also be helpful.
Please note that whilst many modern air conditioners are self-evaporative, the amount of water that is collected or evaporated can vary significantly depending on the humidity levels in the room, ambient temperature, operating mode and installation environment. As a result, performance may differ from other models you have owned.
Once we have a little more information, we'll be happy to look into this further for you.

To clarify, standard fans do not generate cold air. Their purpose is to circulate the existing air within a room, creating a cooling effect on the skin through airflow. This is the intended function of all standard fans and does not indicate a fault with the product.
Regarding the noise, please could you provide a video demonstrating the issue? Once we receive this, we can review the sound levels and determine whether the unit is operating as expected or if further investigation is required.

Top quality panel heater
The panel heater is a beautifully designed and well made product. The controls are reasonably easy to use, but could be a little bigger. The instruction manual is a welcome return to documents rather than a website.
I just love the look and feel of the panel heater and will recommend it to family and friends.

Easy ordering. Kept informed of delivery. The fan hasn't been fully used yet but we have tried it out and it's extremely quiet. It's very powerful on the highest setting.

WON'T HONOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS OBLIGATION
I bought 3 heaters for wall mounting, and had to cut the plugs off as the wall had fused hard wiring points and not sockets. Two of the heaters worked fine, but one was faulty from the start, so I contacted Devola. Once they realised that the plug had been cut off they refused to replace or repair the heater, saying that the warranty was voided, even though the heater was faulty. I contacted Citizen's Advice who informed me that Cosumer Rights is not affected by supplier's warranty, and that Devola had a legal obligation to repair or replace the heater. Devola then said that they would not do this, even thoigh thwy had supplied a faulty heater! This is extremely poor customer service.
ADDED INFORMATION 3 MONTHS ON
We've had these heaters now for 3 months, and while they heat the rooms OK, all 3 have a tendency to suddenly change the temperature setting, one always jumps up to 36°C! So you need to keep a close eye on them.
Also, Trading Standards confirmed that a warranty is in addition to, and does not affect your Consumer Rights. They told me that even though we removed the plugs, any faulty appliance should be repaired or replaced free of charge. Devola know this but refuse to comply - nasty company, please avoid.

This is simply not true. The heater has not been modified in any way, it has simply been connected via a 13 amp fused wall mounted appliance flex outlet. The only difference is that you can't manually pull a plug out of the wall. The heater itself has not been modified in any way, and Devola are not honouring their legal obligations. I would take them to court over this, but unfortunately have medical issues that have made me retire early, and I really can't face it

To clarify, our decision was not based solely on the manufacturer's warranty. We fully recognise that statutory consumer rights exist independently of any warranty provided.
However, in this case the heater had been modified prior to any inspection, with the supplied 13A UK plug having been removed despite the product instructions specifying that the appliance should be used with the supplied plug. Once a product has been altered from its original supplied condition, it becomes difficult to determine whether a reported fault was present at the time of supply or whether it may have arisen during modification or installation.
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides remedies where a product is shown to be faulty or not of satisfactory quality at the time of supply. It does not require a retailer or manufacturer to accept liability where a product has been modified and the cause of the fault cannot be reliably determined.
For this reason, we were unable to establish that the reported issue was the result of an inherent manufacturing defect.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that we could not reach an agreeable resolution in this instance.
