Fantastic fan, super quick delivery

Great service, delivered next day for free. Offer extra 12 months warranty when registering. It’s a great air conditioning unit, noisy but I think all a/c units will be and used as white noise for the baby.

Like Jesus himself it’s a god send!
Got the Devola aircon unit for my house during this heat wave and like Jesus himself it was a god send! Especially with young children in this heat, it’s been quite literally life changing as our house is VERY well insulated and upstairs has been unbearable at night times but thanks to this unit our children and us can finally enjoy a comfortable night sleep! A great machine, but an error in the manual.
A great machine, powerful enough to cool our large siting room. Deducted a star because the instruction manual is incorrect and I wasted a lot of time trying to adjust the cooling temperature with the buttons on the machine. Thought it was faulty but then tried the remote and realised that I was on the drying and not cooling programme as the icons are the wrong way round in the book. Once that was sorted it's been great.

BTU calculator is useless.
Used their BTU calculator to decide on which portable AC unit to purchase, which suggested a 7000 BTU unit would be more than sufficient.
In reality, it cannot cool the room down more than 2-3 degrees on full power, and has never reached the target temperature.
Do not trust their calculator tool, get the stronger unit.

Premium price, budget service. Disappointing.
I opted to spend a little more on the Devola 9000 BTU unit, expecting a premium, all-in-one solution for cooling my loft bedroom. Unfortunately, it has been a very disappointing experience.
The quality of the included accessories is far below what I expected for a product at this price point. The exhaust hose is awkward to attach, doesn't fit securely into the connector on the back of the unit, and regularly works itself loose. The included window kit is even more disappointing. The adhesive strips started falling off immediately, peeling away from the window frame and rendering the kit ineffective.
The biggest let-down, however, has been Devola's customer service. When I contacted them about the failed window kit, they dismissed the issue by saying my window wasn't suitable, despite it being a standard outward-opening window?? I asked if they could at least send replacement adhesive or even sell me replacement parts, but they refused both. Their only suggestion was that I source my own solution.
I have since purchased an alternative adhesive from another manufacturer, and it fits and holds the window seal far better than the one supplied by Devola. It's frustrating that a simple third-party product solved the problem immediately. It's just a shame I had to spend even more money to source a fix myself when, for a product at this higher price point, everything should have worked properly from the outset.
For a product marketed as a complete, ready-to-use package, I don't think it's reasonable to expect customers to buy additional parts just to achieve a secure installation. The air conditioner itself cools well, but the included installation kit and the lack of after-sales support significantly detract from the overall experience.
I expected much better quality and customer support. I regret not returning it within the return window, and based on my experience, I wouldn't choose this brand again.

Having looked into your case, we have sold many of these units and haven't received complaints about the adhesive supplied with the window kit. When we spoke, you advised that the supplied fastening system had proven unsuitable for your particular installation, rather than the adhesive itself being faulty. Unfortunately, as the issue relates to compatibility with your window type rather than a product defect, it isn't something covered under warranty.
We also explained that we only stock the supplied type of adhesive, so we weren't able to offer an alternative replacement. We appreciate your feedback and are genuinely sorry we couldn't provide the solution you were hoping for.
