Staff and service was brilliant

When I went into the Dudley store I was immediately greeted by a friendly face who asked if he could help. I had encountered a problem( not the stores fault at all) but that did their upmost to resolve it to my satisfaction.
Great customer service.

What I was really pleased with is being able to wander around the store without pressure salespeople. When I found the chair I liked again I was able to take time sitting and making sure it was the correct choice for me. Staff were very helpful and we were greeted with a smile

Aliyah was superb, such knowledge , friendly approach and lovely girl, a credit to you at dfs, do not discount Sam or Ben at merryhill center, we went back the day after we saw what we wanted and Ben said this is Leah's sale so I won't get involved, I don't know if they get commissions but that was an honorable thing to do. Would definitely recommend DFS

Extremely helpful sales assistant, Ailyah, told her what I was looking for, the configuration I was after and she showed me the perfect sofas, ordered on the spot! Fantastic service, can’t wait for delivery now!

A lovely greeting by Staff member Aaliyah, no pressure by her and allowed to roam the department and saying she was free to help with any questions we had. We settled on our chosen sofa but asked if she could tell us the things she could offer us to help us make up our mind. She was very helpful and emailed us everything we decided on that would be best for us but we left and told her we needed to think it over. On returning to our car my husband said we should go back and order as Aaliyah had said if we ordered we had time to cancel our order if it wasn’t for us. We sat to exchange information, Aaliyah was very polite throughout and explained everything, - payment plans, cleaning kits and terms of extending guarantee etc. we were very pleased with our sofa and how Aaliyah explained everything- she even offered us a rug for £29 because we had brought the sofa today - so that was a surprise bonus. Very pleased indeed and then Aaliyah offered us hot refreshments too which we did not decline. Fab experience visiting DFS Merryhill today and 10 out of 10 for Aaliyah being so down to earth , helpful and making this such a lovely visit that I usually find daunting

Tony gave us great customer service. He wasn't pushy he explained our options, offered opinions and answered any questions we had.He gave us time to look at other styles of sofas and let us decide on our own .
He is a credit to the store

Extremely disappointed with the service I've received from DFS.
After spending around £5,000 on sofas, I expected much better communication and customer service. My delivery was confirmed for today, and when I called the day before because I hadn't received a delivery time slot, I was reassured that I would receive one and that my sofas were definitely out for delivery.
Today, after hearing nothing, I contacted DFS again only to be told the warehouse said my sofas weren't out for delivery after all. I'm now expected to wait up to 72 hours for an update.
I'm currently pregnant and got rid of my old sofas because I was relying on the confirmed delivery date. I have now been left with no sofas in my home, which has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
I was also uncomfortable with my experience in store. A staff member, Aaliyah, behaved towards my husband in a way that I felt was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable.
Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience from start to finish. I hope DFS takes this complaint seriously and puts things right, including offering appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and poor service.
