The sales assistant was very good, explained everything very clearly & concisely. Clearly very good & knowledgeable of her job. Had a very nice free cup of coffee while we going through the process of the purchase.

Lee was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable from the moment we stepped into the store right through to the purchase. He was able to support us in making the right choice based on our lifestyle and answering all the questions we had perfectly. He has a perfect way with customers and has a wonderful balance of being supportive and friendly but not ‘pushy’ which is essential when making a decision about a purchase. He not only has in depth knowledge of the products and all the fine details, but understood our needs by getting to know us through the process and connecting with us. Brilliant - and a true asset to the company. A huge thank you to him for being so helpful and reassuring with any concerns we had and helping us in making the final choice.
The only slight negative point I would like to add is that at the end of the process, an assistant manager came to speak to us which I understand is part of the process and designed for customer benefit, but we were asked questions which included ‘checking’ Lee had informed us how to ‘plump the cushions’ and had he told us about certain things, as if he was checking up on his work, whilst he was sitting with us, rather than just simply asking if we understood all the information. This isn’t a process that sat well with me after such a great experience up to that point. This is something that can be done away from the customer. It felt very strange and serious and very uncomfortable and absolutely not required. I understand a need for an additional manager sign off, but this approach is not the best for the customer facing part. Other than that - brilliant.

From the minute we ordered our new sofas we knew we had made the right choice - after taking our time and looking around for a while. We would Definitely recommend you give DFS a consideration.

I had such a great experience at DFS, especially thanks to Lee! He was absolutely lovely — really friendly, kind and so helpful. He explained everything really clearly and never made me feel rushed or pressured.

I’d actually been into the store about 3 or 4 times to look at the same sofa, and Lee remembered me when I came back! He really wanted to make sure I was completely happy with my choice and that I was making the right decision.

He was really personable and genuinely interested in why I was buying the sofa, which made the whole experience feel much more personal. I left the store feeling really confident about my purchase and so happy with the sofa I chose.

Called at the DFS Nottingham to have a look around for a couple of sofas..I have to say LIBBy greatly assisted me and I ended up buying 2 X new sofas..she gave me confidence and the sofas were just what I wanted..LiBBY is a credit to DFS and I am over the moon with my purchase..thankyou LIBBY

Outstanding service from Earl at the Nottingham store!

Shopping for furniture online had become an overwhelming and exhausting experience, but my visit to the DFS store in Nottingham changed everything. The entire team was incredibly welcoming, but Earl truly stood out.

His patience, perseverance, and warm demeanor were exceptional. Managing customer needs in retail is a highly demanding job, and I was deeply impressed by how flawlessly Earl handled every aspect of our transaction.
