Very enjoyable experience, Dfs could not do enough for us when picking our new sofas. Everything explained from the moment we entered the store and whilst we was looking around 😊

Good quality and pricing ,however a little bit excessive on the add ons, my 96 year old Mother thought she was buying 2 sofas at circa £800 but final bill came to around £1200

The lovely who served me was brilliant! She made the whole situation easy for me and explained everything very thoroughly, and had the patience of a saint as I had a 4 year old with me! Would highly recommend

Eddie was absolutely amazing and so patient whilst I was choosing my sofa! He was by far the politest and most helpful member of staff out of all the sofa shops I visited on Monday. I never felt pressured to buy my sofa there and then, but I decided to go ahead because I felt so well looked after! He was really friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience so much easier. I’d highly recommend Eddie — thank you so much! 😊

Chose a sofa that we both liked, that looked good and was very comfortable. We were given space and time to sit and relax without feeling pressured into buying. Emilie had greeted us when we walked into the store, approached us in a friendly manner and asked us if we needed any help, Emilie was very knowledgeable and very helpful, but most importantly listened to what we were looking for and used her expertise to advise us. We ordered two, two seaters and two scatter cushions to complement them. The excellent service did it stop there, due to a problem with our vehicle we were stranded awaiting recovery. During this time the staff lent us tools, assisted us with parking and brought out cups of tea which is above and beyond their job description. This is what you call ‘Going the extra mile’. A little pushy on the Sofa care package but I suspect that is what Dfs encourage their staff to do.
Otherwise great!

Relaxed, helpful, diligent and friendly whilst remaining professional. A great idea re another salesperson carrying out a thorough check of the order with the customer prior to the order going through. The whole process was made simple and stress free, thanks to Salesperson Andy at York branch. He was great.

Extensive choices

Eddie was attentive, friendly, professional and knowledgeable, without being over bearing, over familiar or pushy. He spent time understanding our requirements, going through our options and gave us space to think both in the store and when we left to take a quick look elsewhere before returning. He explained about finance options, delivery time scales and was thorough with our order. Thank you also to Andi in the York store who answered a few additional questions we had the following day. He was responsive, proactive and helpful both on the phone and confirming everything by email. Many thanks guys.

We called into 4 different sofa shops, looking for a new suite. DFS definitely had the best selection including the best prices.
The sales team did not hassle us, while we were browsing, in fact we left the store to look at 2 others and then returned. Again no hassle or trying to get us to buy anything, it was only when we made eye contact, did the salesman come over. He was exceptionally helpful and showed us all suites in the style/configuration we required. He offered us a drink, while we were looking and left us to make a decision. When we had decided, he was very helpful. He explained all about the extra cover and what it would do, but did not pressure us into taking it (although we did). During our conversation, we decided to buy a rug. This was NOT mentioned by the salesman, so was not an add on sale. The salesman took us around the whole shop, and took pictures of every rug we had shown an interest in, and then sat with us and gave us the details re: size and colour availability before we made a decision. He then carefully went through the 4 year interest free credit agreement in full. This needed to be checked by another employee and it was only then that we found out that we got 10% off the rug as we had bought it with the suite. Happy days! We were more than happy with the service we were given and our salesman was 1st class and really didn’t need to get everything checked, as it was all spot on. A great salesman and a lovely shop.
