Terrible at communication

When I first received the notification my package was on the way, I specifically requested it to be left in my mailbox without a signature. This was completely ignored, and the package was not delivered. Then I was told it was sitting at the depot for pick-up (which I couldn't get to). I called customer service and requested a redelivery. I was told DHL would contact me with the new delivery date. I waited all week and heard nothing. I contacted customer service again. Nobody knew where my package was, and an investigation was opened. Today I received an e-mail from customer service to let me know that my package is now on the way back to Portugal (and back to the sender). Does that make any sense????
There doesn't seem to be much communication internally or externally with this company. They used to be good, but I don't know what has happened to them. I think they're horrible now.

Horrible service

What a pathetic service from them. Sent a parcel and other party never received it. There is no reply from DHL even chasing so many times. They literally don't care about their customers.

Worst couriers out there driver kept…

Worst couriers out there driver kept saying couldn't access my work address to deliver...and then said it was shut..then the service point drop off was always shut..had to leave a 1 score as 0 not an option..drivers are liars and company dosn't care..utterly useless..DON'T EVER USE THESE...zero out of 5

The worst service ever

The worst service ever. DHL kept my parcel in their wearhouse for about a week, the tracking says it will arrive today, I waited all day, it didn't arrive. I am so angry 😡

Used to be great but gone absolutely shocking!

Used to be great but my last 2 experiences have been shocking! Waiting on 2 deliveries of contact lenses,the first one I redirected to a service point (An Post post office) and the driver tried to deliver it to the post office outside of their opening hours 3 bloody times!
Second delivery was due the 18th of December and I'm still waiting because firstly they lost it in Germany which I wasn't informed about and was only told after contacting their customer service before Christmas then I was told it was on it's way to me. It was out for delivery on Christmas eve and I waited at home all day,checked the tracking and it said delivery attempted which is lies because I was literally home all day! I contacted their customer service who said they would get "John" to call me back,never got the call and I'm still currently waiting on contact lenses which I desperately need!
This company seems to have gone down hill something terrible!

DHL opened my package and stole items

I fortunately won a competition to win three jumpers! The package came today which was delivered by dhl. My package had been ripped open and delivered with on one jumper inside. Highly disappointed in dhl to allow this to happen. If it was a mistake or on purpose either way this shouldn’t be happening. I expected a lot more from dhl.

DHL opened my package and swapped the contents

Received my package which had been ripped open and resealed with DHL tape. The contents of parcel was completely different to what I had ordered and not even something available on the website o ordered off of so my package had been switched out. Rang DHL and they were no help and avoided even giving me an apologise even though it’s DHL’s fault

DHL supports an agent who raised his voice and hung up on me when I asked why my parcel was returned to sender

Had a parcel from America that was sent with DHL, the tracking number provided was a DHL tracking number. Saturday morning, the DHL tracking showed that it was "out for delivery." I was home all day, but nobody came. Later that day I got an email saying delivery was attempted but they'd try again the next business day. Checked the tracking on Monday morning, and it was marked as undeliverable, returned to sender. I triple-checked and the address was correct, so there shouldn't have been any problem.

So, I rang DHL customer service to ask why it was sent back, why they say they weren't able to deliver it. The support agent was extremely rude, absolutely refused to answer my question or give me any information at all, and told me I would have to ask the seller. I pointed out that that doesn't make sense, the seller was not the one who couldn't deliver it, DHL was, why would they be the one with the answer to that question? He decided the appropriate response to that was to raise his voice, again refusing to give me any answers, and then hang up on me.

I found the email form for making complaints about customer service, and sent a message to Mike Farrell, the DHL Ireland Managing Director, asking again why my parcel was sent back, and also making him aware of the way the agent representing them had treated me.

The response only said, DHL doesn't cover deliveries for DHL Express, AN Post does. No further information, And absolutely no apology or even acknowledgement of the unacceptable treatment of their customer service agent.

I asked again, do they really have nothing to say about how their agent treated me? They only repeated that An Post covers the deliveries, not DHL, still no acknowledgement that how their agent spoke to me was not ok. I will be avoiding any company that ships with DHL going forward. I don't care if the deliveries go smoothly when they are delivering them themselves; having a representative who raises his voice and hangs up on someone who has a valid question, and not doing anything about it, is not the sort of business I will have anything to do with.

Oh, and in the end, An Post did deliver it, today. So even DHL marking it in their tracking as "undeliverable, returned to sender" was a lie. This all could have been avoided if DHL hadn't incorrectly marked it that way, and if the initial agent had been up-front with me that An Post was handling it, not DHL.

I order a package in Mister Running and is empty

I order a package in Mister Running, and went to collect to Anpost. Until you don't sign they don't give you the parcel. Immediately as I got it it feel the weight very light, I opened on the office post and package was empty. I went straight to complain to the officer but they told me they can't do anything. In more than 25 years ordering online not even once I experience this, however is the thief should be very embarrassed. I understand you can't control all the hands that are passing. But I demand immediate solution for this or i will ro full to expose this story. Super disappointed.

The worst service ever! Disrespectful!!

The worst service ever!! I was supposed to get my delivery today. I called the customer service to ensure that I was getting my delivery. They contacted the Cork office and said that I would be getting my delivery today. However I got a message a hour after saying that I wasn’t at home so they couldn’t deliver. I was literally waiting for the delivery all day!! It’s ridiculous and disrespectful!! The same thing happened last year, delivery guy gave my iPhone to someone else and realised after few hours and got my phone back from him and brought to me. In the meantime, That guy opened the box and used my phone!! I don’t know where to complain since they still haven't changed their delivery staff and now after a year, still giving a terrible service.

Disgraceful service

If I had the option for 0 stars that’s what I would give! Ordered and iPad worth €569 and was getting it delivered by DHL. Got an email to say it was delivered to my house and when I got home I was told that nobody had taken it in. When I checked the signature for who had signed for it, it was a house not even near my own home, it had been delivered to a different address away from my home even though the address and eircode were clearly marked on the box! So I had to go and collect the iPad from the other address myself and luckily I got it back easily. Such bad service

Ridiculously long delivery time

Ridiculously long delivery time. Constant delays, tracking page wouldn't update for many business days, delayed my entire original order. No customer service to contact directly.
