Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the pricing, finding it to be outrageously expensive and a significant hike compared to previous services. Customers also frequently reported issues with their subscriptions, including confusing processes, unexpected cancellations, and the inability to access content they had paid for. The service itself was often criticized for its poor quality, with problems like buffering, programs not loading, and difficulty navigating the interface. Reviewers also expressed strong negative opinions about the marketing practices, particularly the excessive and repetitive advertisements, even for paying subscribers. The user experience was widely described as terrible due to constant interruptions from ads and a difficult-to-use interface. Some people were dissatisfied with the lack of an ad-free option, especially given the high subscription costs. A few other people also felt that the content, despite being plentiful, was overshadowed by the overwhelming number of advertisements.

Started on Eurosport to watch pro…

Avoid - Started on Eurosport to watch pro cycling £39/year, then discovery+ £6.99/ month for a less useable app .. appalling interface. Just cancelled my subscription entirely as not prepared to pay the soon to be £31/month for the same content. Maximum price gauging is I suspect not a sustainable business model. I will not be the only subscriber cancelling in the face of such sharp practice.

Dismal. Cycling.

First you buy the GCN cycling app (£3.99 subs) just to bin it. Meaning I had to pay for your preferred app (£6.99 subs) which as an app was far inferior. Now you say I cannot use that and I have to pay you £30.99 for the same content. I’m not interested in your football etc. I’ve cancelled my subscription. Thanks for nothing.

Dreadful despite premium price

Dreadful. Large grey rectangle in front of my live football match saying timeline. I eventually watched by using HDMI to connect laptop to TV; the same grey rectangle appeared but had small cross to remove. Missed a goal and 20 minutes of match though. TNT is most expensive Premier League streamer and the worst. There seems to be no way to complain on their website.

"Alaskan Bush People" reused footage

I'm watching "Alaskan Bush People" and I absolutely love the Brown family and the show but it keeps frickin' banging on about "never before seen footage", while constantly running THE SAME OLD FOOTAGE! I've just started season 4 and I don't think I can finish all 14 season, at this rate. Most episodes are 90% rerun footage ffs

800% Price hike for cyclists since GCN days. Happy to have you upgrade and continue to pay for virtually no cycling in the off season, then as soon as the classics start to come around, the massive price hike. The TNT Sports' premium package will officially become the world's most expensive cycling streaming service.
Disgraceful.

Stuff the customers .....

Been a basic customer since launch get things like Yorkshire auction house in demand and I like the cycling grand tours for ranging from 3.99 to 6.99 a month it's worth it but no way is it worth 30.99 so now cancelled they offered a deal 17.99 for 6 months which I declined.
This needs a rapid u turn it they'll lose hundreds of thousands of users it's all ready on public view in Facebook the sharks are offering dodgy fire sticks at the end of the day it'll cost them money and just force those desperate enough towards the pirates and the risks that brings

I wish I could give this zero stars

I wish I could give this zero stars.
Absolute disgrace that they are expecting sports fans to pay £31 per month instead of £6.99 now Eurosport and TNT Sports are merging. How on earth can you expect people to pay that! I mainly watch it for ski jumping and paying £31 per month to watch the ski jumping is daylight robbery. You will loose a ton of sports fans and have joined the disgraceful group of media companies that are continuing to punish sports fans that don't have mega bucks to afford these crazy sports subscriptions.
The TV app is absolutely rubbish, it buffers and freezes constantly, but I persevered as it was the only place I could watch my favourite sport.
AVOID DISCOVERY PLUS EVERYONE!!

Why would anyone pay £31pm when they only watch snooker?

You have just removed my 6.99 a month package and put me on the basic 3.99 a month. My only reason for subscribing was to watch snooker. But now I would have to upgrade to your premium package at £31 a month to continue watching snooker!
There is NO WAY I am paying £31 a month when I am NOT interested in other sports.
You have just cut off many UK snooker fans by doing this, and I for one am cancelling my subscription. There is NO justification in charging £31 a month when the viewer is only interested in snooker, surely you cannot think this is reasonable?

For the low price subscription I find it better value than prime netflix etc despite the moans of the others below, the one true thing that grinds my gears is the burger king ad played over and over again no matter what you want to watch, yes there's ads ( shock!!!!utter horror!!!) but Will there ever be different ads? Ie are we forever doomed to the same burger king ad till the end of time!! Pushing a failing junk food company like burger king won't bring costumes no matter who makes the delivery, other than that the app is great!! FYI!!!if you have sky TV? Well discovery plus is!!! Included with your sky subscription in the UK!!! That's how I discovered the app and have watching discovery FREE for 5 years and uf £3.99 pm month Is too much??? It's not the app for you

Too many adverts for pay tb

It's got the cycle racing I want to see. I watch a silly dating show but the Ads are killing the enjoyment. If I pay subs to Netflix then there's no ads. Discovery need to reduce the ads. Itv has less ads and that's free.

WARNING NO FREE TRY IN THE UK

WARNING NO FREE TRY IN THE UK. The website comes up with a 7 day free trial. However when I cancelled 3 days later I was told it was only an offer for the US but of course there was no flagging that up as I signed on. Shocking shortsighted way to treat customers, will never have anything to do with them again.
