So after being happy paying for the top package from them for all the tnt sports in 4k 5.1 sound with NO ADVERTS on my now jurassic 2019, lol, tv i now find AFTER buying a brand new 2025 Hisense QLED Quantum Dot Dolby Atmos tv, it appears that Discovery DO NOT support my new tv!.... J suppose I shouldn't have trusted Google Gemini ai search which said that it is supported. That's progress i suppose. FFS Discovery get a grip of this and support the world's fastest selling tv manufacturer or loose customers like me.

Too many breaks. I find it difficult to enjoy a program. I understand there needing to be ads in the entertainment pack but 7 ads breaks in 1 episode is just ridiculous. Maybe it’s time for a change as I can’t willingly keep this going on.

I have watched cycling on Discoveryplus for several years. It used to be £6.99 per month and there were no adverts. Now it is £33.99 per month with lengthy advert breaks every 15 minutes. They would never put an advert break during Football but apparently it is perfectly okay during cycling. I cancelled my subscription yesterday and will not return until they stop showing adverts during racing.

Very badly designed interface makes it difficult to find the sporting event you would like to watch. Sport programme descriptions are often wrong.

Absolute disgrace. After paying £59.99 just to watch the snooker, they sell out and stop you watching almost everything. When you ask to cancel they just lie over and over again. I hope this takeover by Sky falls flat on its face.

I've had an Eurosport subscription for over 10 years to watch Superbike racing. For this entire period the subscription was just under £4 a month.

Discovery Plus took over the rights and my subscription was transferred over. To start it was the same price for an introductory offer amd after the offer it then would go to £8 a month. This was double whay I had been paying but I decided to keep the subscription.

Anyway, today I went to watch Superbikes and I couldn't, as I now to to upgrade to the higher subscription to be able to do so which is an eye watering £360 a year!!!

So in less that a year its gone over 700%

Like a lot of other disgruntled customers I too will be cancelling our subscription. We only watch World Superbikes, BSB and cycling. I have never watched a cricket match nor a F1 race ever, why would I want to start now at 70 years of age. I can't do with football nor rugby (another sport I have never watched. There are more essential bills to pay right now without an extra luxury like Discovery+. They should cut down on the number of presenters on programs - 4 stood in the cycling studio and usually 4 at motorcycling events. Somebody somewhere is paying for all this. Yes us.

I love tennis & I love watching tennis. During the slams, I have them on all the time. I have never been able to figure out why the commentators give spoilers to the other matches on other courts. . For example, if there are 8 last 16 matches played over 3 courts, I’m going to want these matches on all day, but if you’re watching the first match, the commentators keep dropping spoilers to what’s happening on the other 2 courts, like so & so has just taken the 2nd set or whatever, totally ruining that match I was about to watch next🤷‍♂️. To counter this, I need 3 screens on, all at the same time, watching all 3 matches synchronised, which is a bit exhausting but have always had to do this, but it never makes sense to me. Also, the time bar on the replay matches is infuriating, inasmuch as the entire point of a tennis match is you can’t know how long the match is, as that is spoiler central in itself, yet all replays have these massive white time bars which come across the screen should you need to pause or whatever, telling you not only the match length but the white bar shows how far through you are. For example, if a ladies match has just completed the 1st set & you happen to see the time bar right in the middle of the screen, you know just from that it’s going to be straight sets, & if it’s a third the way across, you know it’s going to be 3 sets, & so on. I try very hard not to look, but it catches my eye sometimes as it’s so prevalent & usually ruins the match. Never ever ever has this made any sense to me. There are easy ways around this, like the time bar being optionally switched off or like Prime used to do, if you fast forwarded 10 seconds, the time bar wouldn’t show on screen. The programmers have zero idea about watching tennis & this spoils it for people. Could be much better. .

I subscribed for Discovery + mainly for the AO tournament in Jan 2025. Very disappointed with this channel. The organisation of the matches on screen is a mess and finding the game you wish to view is not straightforward. Many of the matches have no English commentary. The ‘all matches replays’ link appears to have disappeared (on 16 Jan) so I’m not certain you can still review an ended game. I will be cancelling my subscription and I hope the AO moves to a respectable channel next year.

Really biased commentary in the game between Chelsea and AFC Bournemouth on 14th January 2025 🤷🏼‍♂️

The Discovery Plus site for the Australian Open tennis is SO disorganised as to be impossible to find matches or to see clearly what's happening on any day. I wish they could lay out the day's events in a simple, clear way. Day One I went to one match and there was a blur on the middle of the camera lens so we couldn't actually see the player. Another highlights match had the commentary in a foreign language. I wish we could get these tournaments back on Amazon Prime - they were the BEST.

Poor and frustrating day 1 of the the AO they lost the zverev game and day 2 lost the Alcaraz v shevchenko match
For no apparent reason just went into a pre recorded mix tape for over an hour by which time the match was finished
I tried every available option and wasted a minimum of an hour. Eurosport was a much better option
Ps tried again to watch thd Alcaraz game it’s 9 pm one would think a great time to view what they failed to show this morning….ALAS NO JUST A SPINNING CIRCLE. I tried several other matches to see if it was just Alcaraz they don’t like but NO STILL SHOWING ZERO TENNIS SO WHY BOTHER PAYING FOR ZERO TENNIS JUST GO TO YOU TUBE

What a waste of time! Picture freeze, buffering and constant adverts makes for terrible viewing. Will never watch again, prefer to watch paint dry!

I have never seen so many adverts I want to watch something but I won’t as I got 11 adverts in 10 minutes it’s ridiculous. Slow and buffering all the time 😡

Utterly useless on any device. They need to fix the problem soon or will have no customers. I feel cheated.

I have discovery plus as part of my TV package. Was required to load the app on my smart TV. Is totally crap app. Most of the time the picture / video is frozen. Why did Eurosport allow them to broadcast the Olympic Games? Maybe the interface was poor. Anyway have stuck to BBC while broadcast us more stable

Bought this as part of Amazon Prime solely for the Olympics. it is appalling picture quality and glitches the whole time freezing every few seconds. This makes most things especially the tennis unwatchable. They outbid everyone and then provide a terrible service, why is this allowed ?

Awful app, kicks me off all the time after slowing and stopping, rebooting. Tried everything, dont waste your money 🤬😡😡

this company is nothing but thieves. Cancels your subscription but steals monthly payment. Do not trust any TV subscriptions.
