Never, ever again...
Spent over £1600 at Currys on-line in Nov 2020. The dishwasher has been broken more than it's worked. Had a nightmare trying to get through to Customer (non) service to get engineer out. Had to do this twice, the second time it was declared unfit and a replacement needed. Then....... total silence for nearly two weeks until I spent another hour on hold, apparently none in stock! Never thought to update me. Promised a call by Feb 13th, guess what....? Total silence, again. Another hour on hold and refund requested. Curry's, you should be ashamed.
Escalated this as a case on MSE Resolver website too, Curry's have not even acknowledged this either.
I will never use you again and I will ensure that I tell as many people as possible also shop elsewhere. DISGUSTING...
What is happening at Curry’s.
This is 100% the next company that will go down the pan. Worse company I have dealt with, and that includes Vodafone 🙄 They are so infuriating.
Will never use them again. It’s Amazon all the way for me from now on. Such a Shame, as used to be a really good shop to deal with.
No idea what has gone do horribly wrong with them.
Shocking service again!
Ordered a laptop last week, took my money said would be delivered today 15/02/21, not able to track !
We called today to find out if being delivered, was told, found it was damaged at packaging and none left, but were we informed NO!!!!’
Now have to wait 3-5 days for money to be returned !!
Currys you have to get your act together, shocking customer service.
Have since ordered through HP online today and a laptop coming tomorrow 😍
Worst customer experience, ever
Without any doubt, the worst customers experience I've ever had.
After receiving a faulty TV, I've spent upwards of two hours being passed around by their support team without any result.
I will NEVER purchase with Curry's again and I actively encourage you to save yourself the hassle, and buy somewhere else.
VERY VERY POOR SERVICE
Brought a Zannusi Condensor Tumble dryer which stopped working within 2 weeks contacted Curry PC World and they sent an engineer out, engineer arrived and could not understand why they had not replaced! Still not working tried contacting the twice since, got cut-off 3 time eventually got through to be told had not received engineers report & to phone back. I am currently still on the phone now cut off 4 time selecting options, cut off once after been on phone for 17 minutes. Online web chat useless, Freya assitant useless. nearly £400 spend and still no working tumble dryer, previous Zannusi tumble dryer worked for 8 years. Curry service very very poor to say the least & trying to be polite

Ordered a Samsung 50inch qled TV, when it was delivered it had its screen smashed box fresh. The only way to contact customer care is through a time consuming online chat in which you need to at first navigate a chatbot until you are finally put through to an agent. They tell me that they cannot do anything about my order until the end of the day as it is still marked as being out for delivery. When I finally request a replacement it gets rescheduled, and the delivery team turn up, ring my doorbell only to literally disappear with no explanation given - when I eventually get through to them they say that their van wasn't loaded properly and that they don't have my TV replacement, and that I would be notified in the evening when I again have to reschedule redelivery and collection for the initial TV that was delivered broken. What a joke, won't use them again.
Letter to Currys
Letter to Currys. 13.02.2021
Went to pick up a Microwave order Num: CUR219765738. 45 mins later your Team knowhow Expert, at the Capital centre Preston, tell us he entered the wrong details and locked the system. But here’s a number to ring to unlock again. Customer service told us can’t unlock. Team knowhow expert wrong. The order has now gone to fraud. The only option is to cancel the order, refund money back onto both the gift card and my bank account. So back home with no Microwave. What an absolute shambles by the Team knowhow expert. Without even an apology; disgraceful behaviour that a simple click and collect cannot be processed correctly by your so-called Team knowhow experts. But mostly it’s a typical example and not the first experience of a bureaucratic poorly run customer service system that doesn’t work, certainly not for the customer anyway. I cannot even reorder until the fund are back into my account. That’s providing there is stock availability. M J Turner
Faulty product delivered twice had to…
Faulty product delivered twice had to chase each time. Told straight out lies by their customer service team, they told me on several occasions something had bene don't when the next person I spoke to would have no record.
Absolute shambles, avoid!
Goodbye Curry's/PC World - Hello Amazon!
Well - look at this ...so many people complaining about pretty much the same thing.
I won't repeat my complaint as it is so similar to most of the others. However, here's a little tip for the Curry's/PC World senior management team.
1. Outsource your customer services web and telephone services to people who have no interest whatsoever in customer services
2. Look at all of these complaints and do nothing about them
3 Be sure to totally ignore the fact that COVID - 19 is changing shopping habits (especially 'white goods') beyond recognition
4. Watch in amazement as your customers flock to Amazon or one of many sites selling products at lower cost with guranteed next day delivery and slick returns policies
5. Feign surprise when the words 'loss', 'collapse' and bankrupt' become associated with Curry's/PC World in the financial press
6. Take the redundancy cheque and head for them thar hills
Evil company!
Evil company!! Almost impossible to contact someone over the phone, completely impossible to talk directly to the store, and probably the most infuriating experience chatting to the live chat team online.
Unable to collect tumble dryer - Was informed item would be returned to warehouse. 1 Month later we find out they marked it as collected and refused to refund us!! Called us dishonest!! Then ended the chat. Do yourself a favour, avoid at all costs.
If you find yourself in a similar situation, contact the CC company or Bank and let them sort it, as Currys will just ignore you. Avoid them at all costs!!!!
Untrustworthy
It looks like I've joined the many to leave a negative comment.
I'm being made to jump through hoops to get a refund for a product that I never received.
I managed to cancel my order but they declined my refund and didn't have the common courtesy to update me..
I've spent countless hours on the phone to their poorly trained "customer service" team, some just hang up as they dont know how to answer my query and others arrogantly talked over the top of me.
You can't speak with any sort of management because apparently there are no seniors in the building.
I'll give it another week and if I still haven't received my money I'll be talking to the card team of my bank to discuss my rights and how I get my hard earned money back that Currys essentially stole from me.
Fridge freezer.bought in February 2020…
Fridge freezer.bought in February 2020 told by salesman would be fine to put in outside building. Two days after delivery freezer started to defrost by the time we got an engineer out who said its not fit to be outside ,which is where we had our last one for over 10yrs currys refused to let us return the item as they said appliance was not faulty. So before we knew it we had gone into lockdown in march with no fridge freezer and both pensioners. Appalling service, will never use or recommend them to any one.
Customer Service phone line and web…
Customer Service phone line and web chat is appalling. My 15 yr old son placed an order 7 weeks ago for a headset at 80 pound using his Xmas money it has apparently been sent twice and twice Royal Mail have said it’s been delivered and it hasn’t. Numerous hours on the phone and web chat to curry’s and still no further forward, total waste of time, can’t help, can’t tell you anything, can’t update your details. Rude and totally unhelpful
Wrong item being delivered repeatedly
Ordered a monitor in November and the wrong product was delivered. Curry's have made 2 further deliveries, again with the wrong monitor. Each time the monitor has been returned. I have received an email to state the original monitor is no longer available and that the order is cancelled. Still waiting for a refund (mid Feb 2021). The online chat system is really bad and the customer service is poor. Trying to actually speak to a human being is very difficult. The stock answer on the chat system seems to be to 'wait for 24 to 48 hours'
Will never use Currys online again.
Horrible experience buying a washing…
Horrible experience buying a washing machine from this lot, bought on Friday and they said next day delivery, so now Thursday and still not had washing machine, so can speak to anyone!! Think I'll be cancelling but I know that'll be a nightmare as well, so certainly won't ever be back shopping with them again
Disgraceful
I placed an order for in store collection before Christmas and received an email stating that if my order was not collected by the 13th Jan it would be returned and refunded. I did not collect the order and was therefore expecting to be refunded within the next couple of weeks. It is now 10th Feb and still no refund into my account. I used the web chat to try and get this sorted but was told that I had collected my order (I have not) and I need to go into store to sort this, which is not possible due to covid. I have since called their support line; I waited for about 35 minutes until I got through to someone who then put me on hold for about 5 minutes then just cut my call off as I've read in other reviews! This is an absolutely disgraceful tactic and it is clearly not accidental what they are doing.
awful service from currys will never…
awful service from currys will never purchase anything from them again. cant get through on the phone line and the webchat is a waste of time, still waiting for an item purchased online and its been 2 weeks.
Absolutely appalling customer service
Having ordered 4 items for next day delivery, 3 were delivered but the 4th is showing as not received by DPD . I have given them the benfit of the doubt but after 4 days, called customer services to chase my £365 printer. I was told that despite seeing it had not shipped, it would now take 7 days to 'look' for said printer. When I pushed for a replacement to be sent or a refund so I could purchase another elsewhere, they hung up on me. I then tried live chat, to be told it would now take 14 days to 'look' for the printer. I am home schooling and working from home and need a printer urgently hence ordering one on next day delivery. They won't provide a refund either, so can't order another either. Absolutely appaling customer service when they can clearly see they haven't even dispatched my item. Having spent £1000s a year on my business tech with Currys, I will not be spending another penny!
Took our money then claimed out of stock
Took our money for 2k worth of computers with next day delivery. 6 days later no computers , shocking customer service on phone every day but no help. In the end cancelled the order as said it was out of stock. Never using Currys again
AVOID THIS COMPANY
To Whom It May Concern
On the 13th Sep 2020 my partner had purchased Flavel electric cooker : Model Number: MLN10CRK
Serial Number: 2010021508.
Within 6 weeks the cooker broke down. We had an engineer visitng back in Janaury and he decided that the cooker cannot be fixed and therefore he actioned a replacement item.
I received the cooker replacement code from Flavel/Beko.
Today on 9th Feb 2021 I called Currys Customer Services on 03445616248 and I spoke to team member named: Nthabiseng, who kindly informed me that the item is out of stock and I can choose a different cooked within 10% price difference.
There are NO items of my interest within 10% price difference unfortunately. Currys do not care, they can refund me money but they will not cover the delta in price of other suitable cookers. I am not interested in refund as I must have access to a working appliance on daily basis. I have reached out to the COE: Jon Kowal and MD: Mark Jones via LinkedIn as they are not willing to provide their PA’s contacts or legal dept. 100% shambles, DO NOT purchase from them!
