Wouldn't even give this 1 star
Wouldn't even give this 1 star. I ordered a fridge freezer as ours broke. Had to order for delivery the following Sunday as we work all week and no one would be home. All sorted, money taken then I get an email to say it would be delivered the Wednesday before. I rang the number and she said they only deliver to this area on Wednesday and Friday. Which is no good to us, I have a screenshot where I selected the Sunday and it was all confirmed.. had to cancel the order and order elsewhere but wait 3-5 days for our money back? Joke and will NEVER use again. Hope you go bust!

Repair and support plan for my TV that cost £130
I have a repair and support plan for my TV, the plan alone cost me £130, and I cannot get through to them after my TV has stopped working. A recorded message says there's at least a 2 hour wait on the phone. 2 hours! For a plan costing £130! And can't seem to get through. That's a lot of money to not be able to get through to them by phone.
Curry’s failed to deliver an item I…
Curry’s failed to deliver an item I ordered. They told me after I’d paid for it and waited for it to be delivered in store that it wasn’t in stock and the order was automatically then cancelled. No one from Curry’s contacted me to let me know this item was no longer available, I had to go in store to find this out. Was told as I ordered online I need to phone their customer services number as I had still not received a refund!
I have now phoned 4 times over an 8 week period. Each time I am told I will be refunded. Still no refund. I have complained and asked to speak with a manager. Unable to put me through to a manager...they will phone me back in 24 hours! Guess what...no phone call. So do I phone again and spend 30minutes going over the same conversation and all to no avail!
Totally disgusting customer service I will never buy from them again after this.
Worst customer service ever experienced
Don’t order a laptop and use their next day delivery if you have to return it. Been waiting 3 weeks for a refund. Absolute joke, customer service are horrendous.
Either use click and collect so u can return to store or just shop somewhere else
There should be a way to leave 0…
There should be a way to leave 0 reviews for this level of customer service, they are absolutely shocking. My Tv was delivered damaged and after having the day off work to accept delivery I have then spent over 3 hours on the phone to Curry’s customer service attempting to resolve. After the first conversation I was told by a member of Staff Neo that they would call me back later that evening, needless to say the call never came. I then rang again and this time after another hour on hold I believe I got through to the same person and before I could ask for an update she obviously recognised the issue and hung up. The online web chat is useless and there are no alternative options other than to go through a hundred layers of automated phone prompts before speaking to a seemingly uninterested and quite frankly useless customer service representative.... there is no way to leave a complaint and I have no idea when or even if my issue will be resolved.... I can honestly say that regardless of how good a deal I will never purchase another thing through them! I would suggest that perhaps it’s time for them to take take heed of how bad the feedback is in relation to their customer service before they are left wondering why another high street chain has gone down the pan
Poor Customer Journey for a Simple Exchange
To even give this review one star is too much. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone trying to get a simple exchange for a faulty TV that was issued to me.
The whole customer journey for liaising with customer services is so disjointed (automated systems with dead-ends, poor web services etc.). it really has been disappointing and I will not shop with Curry's again.
Looking at other reviews on trust pilot, it would not surprise me if the company was loosing out on so many repeat customers.
At the time of writing my problem is still not fixed!
Got sent a Russian monitor.
Ordered a monitor 3 weeks ago, it initially arrived in good time although when i opened it i discovered they’d sent me a RUSSIAN monitor, no clue how. European plug, the lot. Organised a return very quickly however it has now been 3 weeks and i have not even received an update on where my new monitor is. The customer service is so bad that it took me swearing at the webchat bot for them to put me through to an actual person. Actually could not believe that this big of a company does not have a customer service email. Monitor still isn’t sorted i have no clue where it’s up to, last i heard the return hadn’t been approved yet...16 days after initially returning. Definitely won’t be ordering again xo
Currys took my order for click and…
Currys took my order for click and collect. I received my notification to collect. On arrival at the shop in Boston they inform me it isn’t there and still in transit somewhere. I ask for a refund and they say they can’t do this without having the item delivered to them first. It’s now been over 3 weeks and apparently it’s still in transit somewhere which they can not say where!! I’ve tried to apply for a refund online but even after following and filling in the refund form I’ve still not heard anything back from them. To sum up.
Very quick at taking your money, really poor at giving it back, terrible procedures aimed at making it as hard as possible for the customer to get a refund or cancel an order. Terrible communication and systems in place when things aren’t right, wanting to pass the buck when it comes to a straightforward refund on a non delivered click and collect order!
Avoid if there is another option to buy elsewhere is my advice, even if it is slightly more expensive Elsewhere it would be worth it for better customer service When something does go wrong.
Lies about stock
Another item ordered showing in stock and another automated email a few mins later along the lines of 'Thanks for your money, bud, but we don't actually have that item right now. We'll be in touch when it suits us to discuss your options'. How about just refund my money? The worst company.
Refund on OOS item.
Ordered an item online which showed as in stock. Recieved an email saying it wasnt in stock and that my order has been cancelled. That was 12 days ago and I have still not been refunded. Customer service are telling me (when I can get through) that they have a huge backlog and that there may be a delay. They are currently holding over £750 of my money. Absolutely disgraceful.
As poor a service as possible + some!
Sorry, but this is going to echo many other people’s experience. I am finding it impossible to have a conversation with Customer Services at Curry’s. Four times today I have been kept waiting on phone for over half an hour each time before any answer. On each of theses occasions I have been connected to a wrong person who has taken a lot of details before telling me they need to transfer me to someone else. On three of these occasions, when finally connected to the “correct” person, I have been cut off in mid conversation. Does anyone have a clue how to contact them?
The worst, by some distance, customer service I have ever experienced. I need to discuss a refund so am locked into this nightmare.
If you have a choice always go elsewhere.
Terrible, rude customer service
Ordered some items online for delivery. My fridge freezer was damaged on arrival so asked them to exchange it. After a month of calls, webchat and eventually a visit in store, I was informed that even though I had been told on numerus occasions the replacement would arrive 'tomorrow' the replacement was never ordered and I had been lied to on each occasion. I was without a fridge freezer for 6 weeks (I ordered from elsewhere in the end), they took over a month to collect the damaged unit, I had to take multiple days off work to wait for the replacement that never arrived and I still haven't received any refund or apology despite contacting them multiple times. An absolute disgrace of a company and they have no interest in improving their customer service.
Don’t even think about buying from them. Shop from Ao or Argos and spare yourself unnecessary stress
Bought an item during the Black Friday sales, it arrived damaged. Took forever and me being constantly on chat for them to exchange it. The exchange arrived filthy and damaged again. Was refused price adjustment to buy the same item if it came back in stock since the exchange was taken too long. Instead I was offer a voucher code. Now they said it can take up to 3 weeks for me to receive the code via email. Seems like customers are a joke to them. Three weeks for an email to come through...
Totally Useless
Totally Useless. Take your money when they have no stock and then email to tell you to call them and all numbers are dead. going bust very soon
Rubbish returns process and customer service
Do they do it on purpose just to frustrate you into giving up? Ordered hard drive enclosure but realised I ordered the wrong one. Went on website, looked like a straightforward process to return. Fill out form, they send DPD to collect. Don't even need to print a label although they aren't thoughtful enough to tell you that. Spent ages trying to find a return address or instructions but eventually found information in online chat forum instead.
Got email and text saying DPD will collect next day. However no one turned up. Sent second request but same thing happened. After hunting for ages finally found a telephone number for them and eventually got through to a human being. They re-arranged third collection attempt, told would be picked up next day. Received no email or text to confirm and guess what, no collection. Now submitted fourth attempt but received email asking me to get in touch with them. However surprise surprise there is no contact information in the email. I am truly amazed, surely whoever came up with this system would have realised I need contact details to get in touch.
I'm now wondering do they do this on purpose to get you to give up on obtaining a refund. I'm not fussed about when they pick up item, they could have taken 1 - 2 weeks but why tout this quick and easy returns process on website when its anything but easy. The whole process and customer service is terrible, just a complete waste of time.
NEVER ORDER FROM CURRYS/PCWORKLD
i originally phoned into to ask about buying a laptop because i have just started a course, my order came to £778 and ordered for next day delivery, the money was taken out of my account straight away, no laptop on the next day, i had 4 different virtual calls which were all of very poor quality and told there was a technical error with my order, so it had to be cancelled and reordered over the phone on a very high rate number to be told it will be a next day,we get it to 5 days down the line i finally get a delivery which is security and microsoft what i ordered with the laptop but guess what no laptop, could be at least another week, it is amazing how a computer company that specialises in selling these laptops/ computers have such a shockingly bad system you would think in 2021 they would have everything in some sort of order in online shopping because its not like you can go to the shop and speak to someone they just take your money and run but in all honestly this place just seem like a scam NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No refund despite cancelled order.
Ordered a monitor and cancelled less than 45 mins later. This was confirmed by email. Despite that PC World tried to deliver the cancelled item anyway which I refused to take. This all took place a month ago and no refund to date. Keep getting promised 2-3 days. Will now have to try to get money back from CC instead. UPDATE. After emailed CEO email address received call next day with refund following the day after.
If I could leave -5 stars I would do…
If I could leave -5 stars I would do that. They took thousands of pounds from my account for items they did not have in stock. I've been waiting for weeks for my refund, spent hours trying to contact them and still haven't got my money back. STAY AWAY. I wish I had read the reviews.
Please do not use this store
Please do not use this store. I purchased a dishwasher with fitting included. They fitted a dishwasher that was too large, the kitchen draw and cupboard no longer opened as a result (unfortunately I was not in when it was fitted). I requested an exchange which was agreed, the sales team helped me find the correct size which was an integrated dishwasher. They assured me that this had a normal front and did not need a kitchen cupboard door to be fitted. It arrived & did not have the normal dishwasher front, it required a door... which was not what was advised by the sales team and not what I requested. As I did not have a cupboard door; the delivery guy said it was unsafe to fit as the dishwasher door would be too light and therefore dangerous... he took the new dishwasher away and left the original dishwasher. I called the sales team, who were very sorry for the incorrect type being delivered and guided me to a third dishwasher requesting that I contact the customer service team to arrange an exchange. I contacted the customer service team who would not agree to an exchange as the price of the new item was £20 more.. Although I requested that I would like to pay the difference they said they could not take a payment. I was advised that I had to request a refund & collection for the original dishwasher, once they receive it they would refund the money, which will take up to five days. I can then place a new order and they will then return and fit the new dishwasher.. This means a new pick up and delivery date and a delay (of hopefully) only around ten days... all because I couldn't pay the difference of £20... This is not good customer service and morally poor in terms of environmental impact, road congestion due to the now four trips to my house... (Original delivery, second exchange, pick original up and deliver third dishwasher). Unfortunately I am tied to Curry's as I originally paid with vouchers via my company scheme... Otherwise I would return to ao.com who I have used prior with similar exchanges who made the whole job easy... In this electronic world with telephone banking why can't anyone receive a payment of £20, especially such a high street giant like curry's... Very unhappy....!
