I'm somewhat discontent

18 May 2017:
==========
I'm somewhat discontent, because the price of my recipe has doubled, in 4 months time....

But, i'm still in negotiation with Dokteronline, so I don't know yet what the final outcome will be.

Due to my previous experiences with Dokteronline I trust that this will be settled.

29 May 2017:
==========
Unfortunately things have not been settled.... Dokteronline states that "prices are determined in deliberation with our partner pharmacies...."

A pity, because up until now I have always been very content with the service and clarity of Dokteronline....

However, I have come to understand that in the future my product will possibly again become available. In the meantime, in my opinion it would have been clearer if their website had stated that this product at the moment of ordering was no longer in stock with them

Beware! Dr Shori will decline your order after making you wait 4 days!

This was a very good service in the past. As long as you provided enough information about your condition and why you needed the medication, it was generally always approved with the medication arriving very quickly (usually within 48 hours). Now though, they are using a different doctor - Dr Shori - and he will decline your order no matter how much information you provide. He refers to fictional guidelines saying that he needs to speak with your own doctor before writing a prescription. If I had my own doctor to go to, I wouldn't be paying him hundreds of pounds/euros to write a prescription!!

Dear Gareth,

Thank you for your review on our website.

We are sorry to read that you are not satisfied with the service the doctor provided. Please be informed that the prescribing affiliated doctors are allowed to ask their patients to speak to their own doctor, if they believe this is necessary in order to ensure safe online prescribing.

Kind regards,

WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM THESE!!

I placed an order on 22nd April for a batch of medication I have ordered regularly, due to the severe pain I suffer from. I have been a patient/customer with Dokteronline for a while now, and have always ordered the same medication, without any problems whatsoever, until recently.
I order discretely, for a number of personal reasons. It is my prerogative and it is something which millions of people do worldwide for similar reasons. After a problem with a recent order, my new order was then rejected by a doctor from exactly the same region in the UK. Coincidence?? I think not!! The doctor's name was Dr Shori. The reasons provided were so absurd and they were actually disproved by my response. But, this led to a dreadful chain of events and shocking customer service.
Dr Shori demanded to speak to my GP, despite me giving no consent whatsoever during my transaction, and reinforcing this on numerous occasions whilst speaking to him. I did not, under any circumstances, give permission for Dr Shori to discuss this with my GP. This is my right, and has to be obeyed, such are the GMC rules around patient confidentiality and choice. But I hid nothing, was completely honest, and was a brilliant patient/customer.
Naturally I appealed, and lodged a formal complaint relating to the Dr Shori's attitude. His final reply to me was very condescending and ignorant. I asked that either my order be approved (which it wasn't) or that I be given a refund immediately so that I could make alternative arrangements. Despite me calling Dokteronline during the day, to outline how urgent it was that I find out what was happening, so that I wouldn't be without medication and in turn, greater pain, I was just dismissed with telephone advisors talking complete nonsense and offering very little help, whilst being insensitive and uncaring throughout. It was beginning to be a very stressful and upsetting saga.
In fact, I actually didn't receive a reply from Dokteronline for more than 12 hours, and when I was finally issued with this reply, it was almost midnight. This meant that, since I hadn't received a definitive decision regarding my medication until way beyond close of business hours, a whole day had been lost, and as there was a bank holiday approaching (which I made them aware of), there was a real possibility of me being in a desperate position well into the next week. Disgraceful service regardless of the decision made. I couldn't do anything until I had heard back from Dr Shori about my order, I couldn't place an order with another company until I had received my refund if that was the eventual outcome, and I was going to be without medication for my dreadful pain.
My complaint was dealt with shoddily and appallingly. Despite how in depth I had been, Dokteronline’s own response was brief. It hardly discussed the issues involved, repeated the exact same advice I was provided with by Dr Shori and, despite me making it clear on so many occasions that my GP details would not be supplied, rather unbelievably, they asked me again for this information. Outrageous when you consider how much I had made them clear on this matter and how strongly I came across.
By 27th April, 2 days since the abysmal chain of events and the terrible service from both Dokteronline agents as well as management, I hadn't heard a single thing about my refund. I had to contact them myself via telephone. Again I was met with incompetency and unhelpfulness. I explained how vital it was that I was reimbursed immediately, having already waited an entire day to be rejected, and now a further 2 days with ignorance. I was simply informed that I would have to wait for the agent to speak to the financial department but that my refund had been processed. To my absolute horror, I was then sent a further email from Dokteronline, requesting details regarding my bank account, in order to make the transaction. To say that I was now incandescent with rage is an understatement. Why on earth was I not asked for this information after the disapproval of my order, or during the 2 days which followed? It was just a dismal lack of communication and a terrible omission from the Customer Services department, whom had also failed to inform me of this required information at the time of me querying the matter itself.
I immediately replied with the relevant details, but rightly insisted on an explanation. To this day I have not been answered, just met with a complete wall of silence, and have submitted 3 separate emails to them. This is very strange really, considering that the company responded to every single message or email very promptly prior to me stating how unhappy I now was. It seems that as long as you are supplying them with your hard earned cash, and not ‘causing any hassle', you are very welcome. The moment you take issue with very poor service, meaning potentially taking your business elsewhere, then you don't exist anymore. I'm certain we don't operate like this in the UK. Companies are held accountable for their actions and for terrible standards, which is why we have regulatory bodies. You might argue that this is the risk you take when dealing with offshore companies. I would counter this by suggesting that service should be even better actually, and these companies should finally be governed correctly to offer protection to vulnerable customers.
I finally received my refund several days later, leaving me no alternative but to borrow the funds to make other arrangements in the meantime. Luckily I was able to purchase the medication elsewhere. The process was much easier, it was actually cheaper, and it arrived within 2 working days of my transaction. The whole episode was kickstarted by a horrendous decision by the judgemental Dr Shori. But, the overall problem here was the abysmal service provided by Dokteronline, the dreadful lack of communication, the horrible attitude of its staff and management, the ignorance adopted following a complaint and the unacceptable delay relating to a refund of my own money. It was unforgivable, stressful and unnecessary.
WARNING: Steer clear of this company, you may just regret what you are about to risk!!

Dear Mr. Tielens,

Thank you for your input regarding the assessment by the affiliated Doctors. Please be informed that the affiliated Doctors who assess the orders need to rely on the information provided by the patient in the medical questionnaire. The medical questionnaire form used provides the affiliated Doctors with critical information in assessing a patient’s true medical status. The Doctor uses this information to determine if the requested medication is appropriate and safe to use for the patient to treat the ailment.

Therefore, during the assessment, the Doctor may contact their patient for an additional question, in order to make sure that their approval of an order is done correctly. If you are contacted by the Doctor requesting additional information it is carried out to better understand your diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Please note that prescription medication can only be dispatched by the affiliated pharmacy once the Doctor has approved the request. Therefore, the Doctor’s assessment might delay the final processing and shipment of an order.

Dokteronline.com will always confirm the shipment to your email. You can also follow up on the status of your order via your personal Dokteronline account. We hope you understand these precautionary measures are done for the patient's own safety and benefit.

Kind regards,
Customer Service - Dokteronline.com
